This article was published earlier this year but just shared with me now:

Press accounts, noticing Fauci’s article, immediately sounded the alarm. “Household contacts can transmit AIDS,” read one nationally syndicated report on the UPI wire dated May 5, 1983. The Associated Press queried the next day “Does AIDS spread by Routine Contact?” and quoted Fauci as their lead authority. The New York Times raised the specter of household transmission between family members, invoking Fauci’s commentary as its main authority.

We now know of course that Fauci’s theory was wrong. HIV, the virus that was later discovered to cause AIDS, only transmits by exposure to infected bodily fluids such as blood, or by sexual contact. The infant infection discussed in the same JAMA issue involved vertical transmission from the mother to child during pregnancy.

The damage was already done though, as the media went to work stoking alarm about AIDS transmission through simple routine contacts. Hundreds of newspapers disseminated the distressing theory from Fauci’s article. Writing a few weeks later, conservative columnist Pat Buchanan enlisted Fauci as the centerpiece of a rebuttal against Health and Human Services Secretary Margaret Heckler, who told him “there is no evidence…that the general population is threatened by [AIDS].”

  1. In most other times of human history, this fraud would have been swinging from a lamppost long ago. At the present time, he’s lauded. Shows you how deep our mass psychosis runs.

    1. Doug, I can no longer accept the insanity that has become the norm today. My local pub is on record with media in Ontario stating that masks and vax passports will not be happening in his establishment. Was there for lunch at 12:30 today and the pace was jammed, not a covid cop in view. It was jammed with working men and women and a number of us real old folks who have had enough of the bullshit. I hope the province gets this “vaccine” passport crap shoved up their ignorant asses.

  2. As an example of similar fraud, consider Paul Ehrlich, the author of “The Population Bomb” that I was compelled to read in public school in 1968. It was false then and is false now, but its author is still on the lecture tour, spouting the same garbage even though it has been discredited by time itself (world wide famine predicted by 1985, for example). Or Rachel Carson’s “The Silent Spring” which got DDT banned worldwide by falsification of data. It was extremely effective in killing the anopheles mosquito, the chief carrier of malaria, and because of the ban, millions worldwide have died prematurely, yet where is the outcry? Or the founder of the “self esteem” movement, Nathaniel Branden, who cherry picked the results of a single paper and cached that into a very lucrative movement completely full of garbage?

  3. When does Fauci go on trial for crimes against humanity for killing millions of people, thousands of times as many as Dr. Mengele? He financed the Chinese research against orders of Congress. Lethal injection is too good for him. He needs something cruel and unusual.

    Back in the 1980 when AIDs was going nuts. I worked as a medic in Calif.
    Thanks to this loon of a doctor (Fauci) we went from wearing simple gloves to elbow length gloves to wearing “moon suits”
    His advice turned the ER and EMS systems into a mess. Stay away from the blood, don’t get a needle stick. Even though we already knew AIDs could NOT survive outside the body. And if you did get a needle stick. Your life was about to change. Weekly testing, working alone and no cuts on your body at all.

    In my humble opinion. This man should be thrown into a dark cell for the rest of his life. And every asset he has, should be removed and given to a Salvation Army.

    1. I did a literature survey of the medical journals at the time, and debunked this quack with an A+ for my efforts.
      A pandemic expert…oh God spare us! 🙂

      And the vaccine passport is gonna “protect you”…ha, ha, ha.

    1. I had no involvement with pushing that poll to 83% NO. It would be a shame if a bunch of other people also had no involvement in pushing the NO to 90%. A real shame.

  8. There’s no evidence that the general public is threatened by covid either, no more than the common cold and flu which we’ve been living with without drama forever. Durham Region has 176 “active cases”, AKA “people taking a sick day”, some with symptoms, some with nothing more than a positive test, and 1 person is in hospital. We have 5 hospitals and around 1 million people. Lamest. Pandemic. Ever. It is however apparently bad enough that I can’t go to the YMCA anymore, without a “passport” I refuse to get.

Here, Karl Denninger talks about how Fauxci prevented AIDS patients from receiving Bactrim, which is a two-drug antibiotic cocktail that was shown to be hugely successful in mitigating certain pneumonias in leukemia patients. What we know is that often it was pneumonia that killed individuals with AIDS, especially homosexual men. Instead Fauxci pushed AZT on them, which we know is a very toxic chemotherapy candidate that failed its trials. Fauxci is a nasty piece of work, whose demise can’t come soon enough for humanity.

    Had an annual chat with my Govt Paid Cardiologist yesterday. After the usual question on my meds and extras, was asked if I had taken the VidVax. I told nope, not interested in poison being Injected into my body.

    He, Fauci replied to one comment from Paul somewhat to the same effect as saying I’m the science and you are not.

    1. A simple reading of the site RETRACTION WATCH should put paid to that one… Most of the matters covered therein are the results of deliberate fraud rather than honest mistakes… Scientists are no more perfect than is the rest of humanity; and in many cases, even among my own scientist friends in various disciplines, their tendency towards general arrogance can make them a tad worse, which is a shame but should not be a surprise…

      But Fauci will probably get the Nobel Prize for Medicine, while Biden and Thunberg will share it for Peace…

  13. Every so often I’ll reach up to my bookshelves and dust off Michael Fumento’s “The Myth of Heterosexual AIDS” and a few other similar tomes from that era just to enjoy how right they were (and I was by oft repeating them), even decades later.

    First time I realized how badly the MSM and The Swamp will use Big Data to drive their politics, and their ongoing attempt (rather successful, unfortunately), to make innumeracy the norm – all the while demonizing those who actually look at the numbers.

    After that, climate change, and lately of course, COVID.

    Same playbook, every time.
