    Rachel Curran is right that Alberta has done relatively well over the course of the past 18 months, but that’s only because Quebec did relatively so poorly during the first wave, Manitoba did relatively so poorly in the second, etc.

      It is the same as reporting Canada’s military death rate as 314 per 100,000 (110,000 dead in WWI and WWII out of today’s Cdn population of 35 million). Stupid.

    63.8% of deaths are 80+.
    20.4% 70-79.
    9.8% 60-69.
    3.9% 50-59.

    That leaves a whopping 2.3% of deaths occurring in everyone under 50. Or 6.2% under 60 if you choose to look at it that way.

    And we’re tearing ourselves apart for this.

      Liberalvision CTV did a hit piece yesterday from the hospital, talking to medical scolds/doctors and nurses, where they mentioned “perfectly healthy people” in the ICU. As they scanned 2 people, they both appeared obese……….perfectly healthy…….uh huh…….

      1. Every “COVID” death is due to a comorbidity. People with healthy immune systems may get sick but they don’t die.
        The 27 year old from Lethbridge is a classic example of the corrupt MSM being it’s usual lying sacks of shit. What they didn’t report was that she had severe cerebral palsy. At five years old, she had a major stroke. Having a damaged brain her immune system would have been compromised. But hey, let’s run with the fear porn.

    That is not to say they are without sin. However in the case of Wuhan flu, on balance nothing to get excited about.
    The media cartel is masturbating the minds of people, the yappers on the yapper station are insisting on science while never asking questions, just go with the dogma and that’s that.
    Here are some questions.
    Who are those that succumbed to the Wuhan flu?
    Had they other more serious health conditions that actually caused their demise?
    How many of the infected came by a plane from another country?
    How is it that its public knowledge that the Wuhan flu is spread more than other parts in the enrichers of Canadian culture, in Calgary anyway, live in a particular ethnic neighborhood?
    Instead of telling people to take care of themselves, the media cartel omits, its the government.

      1. I will…a few months ago the Govt was indicating publicly that certain neighbourhoods were more prone to the vid.

        In Calgary it was the NE Quadrant composed mostly of East Indian, Muslim and Orientals for the most part. Something to do with 3 Families living in close quarters. in smaller housing – NO surprise there whatsoever.

      2. I would hazard a guess that it has something to do with the difficulties some people have with using our system of toilets and toilet paper. Sounds dumb but if you’ve ever worked in a factory or other setting with a plurality of very new Canadians you’ll know what I’m talking about. Fecal/mouth is a transmission vector, hence all the emphasis on hand washing and the high rates of outbreaks in nursing homes where people wipe butts and eat with their hands.

        Just a theory of course.

        Early on the majority of cases were in the east & northeast / southeast which is very ethnic … once my wife went to the Ikea in the northeast and commented that it is like you are in a different country & she was the only white person.
        Anyway the covid is more evenly distributed now if u look at current cases only … although the northeast etc is still recording more cases …. I will leave u to figure out why.

        1. Most of the early high case load areas in Calgary were ethnic NW and SE, or in regards to the SW old folks homes. I’m talking Feb-May 2020. They worked at meat plants in Brooks and High River, so cases were high in those two towns for a while. The later areas were out in the boonies, native folks. If you’ve noticed natives are from Asia, so similar blood types, plus the white man’s diet plays havoc with them, diabetes, heart, problems, overweight. Prime COVID victims. Wuflu is from China, remember? Another point, the biggest group of Chinese death cases in China, are males 50 plus. Bad health in general plus they smoke like chimneys. I’ve been following this since late 2019.
          Then there’s all those “fly ins” we don’t talk about, plus border crossovers, like Roxham Road, PQ. Nobody talks about them. Any Premiers blaming the unvaxxed for their problems needs to be taken out and treated like we treated death camp guards under the Nazis, especially when overseas flights arrive each day with infected folks.     4. The hospitals sent patients home to dedicate entire floors and wards to COVID cases. There is hardly anyone in these dedicated spaces. This, is kept quite by the government. The corrupt MSM keeps it quiet because it will out them for the fear porn they have been spewing.
      Instead, the MSM cries that the ICU’s (which are always full) are being overwhelmed.

  9. I have been down the rabbit-hole of nutrition regarding keto/insulin resistance and fat vs carbs these past few months. Maybe the number one understanding I have received from all this research is how absolutely bass-ackwards government nutrition guides are.

    When I clearly see government health agencies pushing nutrition policies that are creating millions of obese and diabetic N. Americans, I have no problem believing their COVID policies are every bit as irresponsible… if not intentionally destructive.

    Only a goddamn idiot would trust the current woke assholes in charge of Canada and the US. I am supposed to trust people who believe that a man can get pregnant, to inject me with drugs? FUCK THAT!

  10. Recently seven people I know have contracted covid. 3 fully vaxed. 4 were children. All have recovered. My sister was one of the fully vaxed, and the one who was significantly ill. Here treatment advice was isolate and take Tylenol and Advil. If their Emergency and ICU are overwhelmed is there any possibility early treatment might alleviate this problem? No, a vax passport will cure it . And the upcoming lockdowns. I strongly suspect the numbers that they claim are unvaxed covid cases are being manipulated.

After a week with some really tough days she did recover at home . However, I did hear of one person that was on the same plan who they found dead after 4 days. I was told she was fully vaxed and no one checked until they hadn’t heard from her for a few days.

My son had 6 friends who live together had one test positive ( I think he had to get tested for work ) & so all 6 got tested with 4 being positive but all felt fine and had no symptoms at all – ZERO NADA ZILCH and the other 2 were negative despite the close quarters of being house mates, sharing bathrooms & kitchen etc.
      Some F’en pandemic when u get it and r fine. FYI these 6 were all healthy males in the 28 to 31 age group.
      At the end of the day it is a disease of the diabetic, obese, vitamin D deficient and really old folks who often have lots of diseases which make them susceptible to the covid killer.

  12. I’ve stopped looking at the stats.

    The crisis they are fretting about isn’t case load but that the current system does not accommodate patients staying in ICU for more than a day.
    Covid requires from what I hear a patient occupying an ICU unit for at least two weeks.
    Specifically on a ventilator longer than what the allotted time limit as regulated by the government health insurance monopoly mandates.
    The only way to work around said limit is under an emergency order.
    Lift the emergency order and necessity would force a breakup of the monopoly.

  16. Back of the envelope calculation: If everyone lived to 100, 1% of any population would die every year. With a life expectancy of around 80, well over 1000 people out of 100,000 population dies every year. So we have 72 (of/with Covid ) of the 1,500 dead in every 100,000 (in the past year and a half ) or 1/2 percent of all deaths. So if all causes of death were equally likely as Covid, we have 200 other ways to die to be equally terrified of. How does one sleep?

    The CDC has admitted that only 6% of alleged COVID deaths in the US were from actual COVID.
    It’s all bullshit.
    Most of the deaths were people with 1 foot in already.
    Oh and watch the flu make a big comeback this winter having virtually disappeared last year.
