Jordan Peterson talks to Dr. Warren Farrell about the problems facing boys these days mainly due to a lack of fathers, but a host of other factors as well. They dive into a number of topics, gender differences, raising kids, relationship problems, divorce, single parenting, schools.
Dr. Farrell has all sorts of data to back up what a lot of people already know. He has spoken to, and gotten the bum’s rush from, both the Trump and Biden administrations after outlining the various problems and presenting some common sense solutions. Details are in the podcast.

For some reason they decided to title this podcast “The Four Do’s and Don’ts of Divorce” even though they spend very little time talking about that. Someone must of thought it was a good click-bait title. Regardless it gets more and more interesting as the conversation progresses. The opening clip in the video is a good hook.

And as you can tell by his critics, he is definitely over the target.
…and yet when real boys decide to opt out, and don’t mind a bit of fisticuffs, turn to dealing drugs, owning weapons, etc, the Canadian right is the first to condemn them.
The Canadian right is just an inch behind the left as far as feminizing males is concerned, they don’t have the balls to step outside of the Overton window, and will roundly condemn any boy who does. Kids going to school in a pickup with a gun rack? Arrest that boy! Swiss army knives for 8 year old boys? Not at school, my little precious might get cut!

Why did you include dealing drugs in your list? Why not include breaking windows and committing home-invasion rape and robberies? Why not include pulling the wings off flies while you’re at it?
Most of the items on your list are needed to make men who can keep a civilization going. That you chose to include actions that lead to civilization destruction (and apparently can’t see the difference) is why I usually choose to ignore you.

Hey One Smart Fellow you know how they fix a ten year old boy not printing, or reading ? Giving him a Chromebook and saying if he gets behind to use voice to text, and lets not forget spell check . the whole problem from the start holding a fing ipad from 4 on. It’s too hard to hold a pencil and just practice. So one smart fellow good and bad means nothing in this PC dystopian world that grew under your nose.

Uselessness is one thing my man – viciousness is another. I’m still against moral relativism, and I’ve met people who had everything against them as kids but refused to sink to backstabbing to get their daily bread and rose above it.

Trust me, Mugs, we’re working on ensuring all the grandbrats are both literate and numerate. And trust me, a Chromebook is not part of the solution for any grandbrat. We are fortunate that the grandbrat most in need of help had a really great teacher last year and, since said teacher does a split class, will be with that teacher in the upcoming year.
And yet the word is getting out to the younger generation nevertheless. Enrolment in Universities is down in the covid era with the decline in male enrollment three times that of women, marriage is well on its way to becoming a dead institution, and addiction is front and centre in the current election. Men are opting out of rigged institutions and moving the needle ever so slightly in addressing one of their key problems. The young ones are still being left to the psychos that run elementary education but perhaps covid will destroy that haven of uselessness as well. Every time I hear a woman my age ask where all the good men gone, it warms my heart. Hopefully the implosion of only fans will put a serious crimp in simping for a while and men will find more productive and emotionally satisfying spaces.
To anyone over the age of 40 or so it’s apparent in the mannerisms of boys. They act so much like girls in the way they interact with the world it can only be from an upbringing without any males around. The worst is when they cover their mouths when they are surprised by something – completely fruity.
Adam, when the question comes up again tell Miss Single they’re all married to good women. They’ll leave you alone after that.

I’ve known single women who pursued men who were spoken for. I guess the allure of forbidden fruit was too much for the ladies.
I have already told my daughter that I’ll pay for Private school for my grandson.
I won’t have him in any environment that deems “testosterone is toxic”. Fuck that! He will grow up ALL-man … no apologies. And any teacher who diminishes him in any way at all will feel the full wrath of gran’pere (and gran’mere).
My own boys started school under the thumb of a boy-hating Elementary School Principal. She had an EXTREME bias against 5-year old boys … and wouldn’t allow any of em to start kindergarten till they were 6yo. She deemed them all immature, too small (compared to girls) and lacking fine motor skills … blah, blah, blah. It didn’t matter that my boys had all been to Private Preschool where they were fully prepared to attend Kindergarten. Nope. The Principal hated 5yo boys and delayed their starting of school. She was also the Principal who refused to put my kid into the school’s GATE program for gifted students. Why? Because my kid wasn’t “verbal-enough” for her. Idiot. He’s a math genius, not a talker … graduated with an Applied Math degree from UCLA. Stupid c()nt Principal. She hated boys. She should have been fired and prosecuted for child cruelty.
Honourable, Kenji, and well done. STEM gotta STEM, and keep the world running. Unfortunately I have to ask the hard question: if she can’t find a reasonable school, would you be willing to help home-school?
Fortunately my son comes home with stories of “hey Dad, you won’t believe what they tried to tell us today…” so there’s still hope for him. Not all places / schools are as blessed. Local in-laws would be little help, as they can’t believe we’d delay The Jab on the basis of “finish the testing first” and are firm believers that science is consensus.
There are times that I regret passing on that Alaskan job offer 5 years ago.
