  2. I’m sure that if I invaded another country and killed family and friends that I would be forgiven like Trudeau thinks will happen and escorted out friendly. Dress in bright red colors and have your Canadian Identification is all you need to get past the Taliban check points…hmmm.
    All it done is added them to a list that they were turned back from the Airport.

    Trudeau has treated this as a total joke and does disservice to the memory and respect of members of the military who died there. They had no choice but to follow our governments directives on where they were sent to do the services of our governments ordered them to do.

    I don’t see or hear any other politicians currently in their Election state anything that is happening?

Remember when he said that “Canada” could not afford to give more to our vets, that they were asking for too much! Then consider what he has wasted, yeah wasted, not spent, in the past year and a half, then he adds another pile on with calling an election early. Now this final middle finger to all vets, US and Canucks, with this deliberate choice to not only abandon our citizens, but to abandon everything they fought, bled, and died for in Afghanistan. Now also, the west truly knowing how the fanatic islamic men treat their females and children, to also abandon those females and children to the taliban thugs is so abhorrent, I find it difficult to think straight, and form sane thoughts.

    Culture is transmitted to the next generation by women more than it is by men, If muslim women are treated like dirt by men its because muslim women raise their sons to be like that. If they want it to change it’s up to them. It’s not up to the western world to White Knight for muslim women.

    3. Rusty, they don’t want to be treated like that, but are similar to a battered wife syndrome. Here, they can at least get help if they are being abused. There, the whole country treats them that way, or at least allows it. What options do they have? Even if they try to travel away from that abuse, they need a male family member to escort them. What is worse for them now, is they know the rest of the world doesn’t behave like that. They have no way to prevent such abuses. We really didn’t know before how badly they were treated and mutilated, we do now, if we in the west collectively have any morals and ethics, how can we ignore their plight? No, we don’t need to be knights in shining armor, but we do need to seek ways to end such gross disgusting religious fundamentalism. Even if eventually, it means turning the place in to glass.

      1. Are afghan women too stupid to raise their sons not to be animals? They’ve had thousands of years to do it. Where they are now is the result of thousands of years of bad decisions. Fixing it starts with making good decisions. It might take thousands of years to fix, but if they’d made those decisions thousand of years ago they’d be there by now. In the interim, if they want to better their condition each Afghan forced to cook for a man can poison him to death.

        Our part in ending gross religious fundamentalism should start by not importing it. We are now the ones making the bad decisions that will end up putting our culture back into the stone age.
