In his first remarks as president overseas, Joe Biden attempted to send a message to the rest of the world: America will resume its leadership role, recommit to global alliances and push democracy over the rise of authoritarianism.

“At every point along the way, we are going to make it clear that the United States is back and the democracies of the world are standing together to tackle the toughest challenges and issues that matter most to our future,” Biden said.

Biden’s statement that he has seen ‘no question of our credibility from our allies’ has said allies furious. Every NATO country has people trapped in Afghanistan and they tend to be trust fund babies or friends of trust fund babies. Every prime minister’s phone is blowing up with VERY IMPORTANT PEOPLE asking how they’re going to get their kids or their kids’ friends out of Afghanistan and every ally is blowing up the phones of the White House and State Department and getting jack shit from them.

And they’re all blaming ‘America’ but they also know it’s on Biden.

Somebody can probably get an at least ‘off the record’ statement on this from just about any embassy in NATO.

Furious doesn’t cover it.

    1) Corrupt enough to be a politician for 5 decades and use his drug addled son as his bagman.
    2) Mentally incapable due to stupidity, Alzheimer’s, dementia, or some combination.
    3) A pawn of some unholy alliance with any number of actors, including Obama, Rice, Blinken, the Squad, and several three letter agencies.

    I can’t sort it out, but it’s not going to end well.

    2. Five decades of being in a position where his actions could always have an excuse and ability to say it was an executive decision that was ultimately responsible when shtf, and claiming all the glory when things went well.

  6. Tucker touched on something and I want to know if I have it straight. Absolutely everyone on the left has suddenly abandoned Biden, and it’s over an ‘issue’ that the left doesn’t normally give a shift about. What’s going on?

    We all knew he was the dementia addled puppet they wanted in there, and could control (1 trillion? 5 trillion? Where should I sign?), and knew as well that he’d collapse.

    Is there a chance that what he spoke this afternoon is exactly the information he was given, and meanwhile everyone else concerned portrayed shock and immediately contradicted him? Is poor dementia Biden being set up for a fall? I hate to feel for the guy, ’cause he’s clearly an asshole for how he’s treated his own children and made millions from Communist China, but I think he’s being fed false information deliberately.

    You can’t. If these countries want it, they are going to have evolve into it themselves. True democracy, the kind that has not been seen much around here, involves grassroot bottom to top directives. We had the Southern border under control, we were energy self sufficient, I’m pretty sure we had the withdrawal from our Middle East folly in place and reasonably well organized, and the bottom 20% of of wage makers lot was improving. So we voted to reverse course. And all you suburbanites who voted for Biden are going to get what you voted for.

I wonder how many of these “Americans” and other foreign nationals are simply Afghan nationals who have been able, over the last 20-years, to acquire or buy their passports to become dual citizens, never having actually set foot in America or any other country. They were likely part of the corrupt Afghan government, and had what they thought was an “insurance policy” with the dual citizenship passport. No wonder they are panicking to get out.
