More Pavilions At Folkfest

Pope Francis concluded the Extraordinary Jubilee of Mercy by inviting thousands of homeless from across Europe to Rome. Many of those homeless were foreign migrants. Among them was Emmanuel Abayisenga, a Rwandan migrant, the son of a man tried for genocide, who had been in France since 2012, and finally got his chance to briefly meet with the Pope.

While reporters brandished telephoto lenses and stood on chairs to capture the moment, Pope Francis clasped Abayisenga’s arms. The Rwandan, toting a Nike backpack and headphones, appears, as local French clergy would later insist, to be, “fully integrated” into Europe.

He was also the model of the “socially deprived” people whom Pope Francis was looking for.

  1. This is not a Pope … he’s a Marxist Premiere.

“Those arriving in Europe now are fleeing from war or famine. And we are in some ways responsible, because we strip their lands for profit,” Pope Francis scolded Europeans

What a Marxist tool. “Strip their lands for profit”? Name one. And name the natural resource. And tell me that these *ahem* … “refugees” would have been better off had said natural resources remained undisturbed. And what of the Red Chinese stripping of Africa? Ohhhh … I see … the Pope doesn’t believe the ChiComs are “profiting” … because the RED Chinese don’t pay shareholders a dividend.

I always expected the Pope had some minimal level of education. It appears as though this is the FIRST Affirmative-action Pope. His grades are sealed as tight as Obamas grades and birth certificate.

He’s not the only church denomination leader who’s like that. I know of at least one Lutheran bishop in Canada who’s like him.

Whatever happened to preaching, as we used to say during the Eucharist liturgy, “Christ has come. Christ has died. Christ will come again.”

    2. Canada.

      There’s one.

Europe and North America aren’t immigration nightmares because of the Pope.

They are so because of Biden, Macron, Merkel and Trudeau.

Now, who burned down those churches?

      1. Now, who burned down those churches?

I’m surprised that it hasn’t been attributed to spontaneous combustion.

      2. There is a thorough investigation ongoing. I am certain the RCMP are getting very, very, close to labeling the burnings as having been inspired by Q-Anon followers … and Trump supporters. Probably Lutherans who cite the errancy of Catholic doctrine.

And PS … yeah, it’s good to know that no Western, capitalist country gives a shit what the Pope lectures Nations to do. They take the Pope less seriously than Prince Charles.

        1. When Pope Francis likened abortion to hiring a hitman, did anyone listen?

These aren’t the Middle Ages and this isn’t an Italian city-state. No one cares what any Pope thinks.

That is until he helps bring down the Iron Curtain but that was some time ago.

          1. The Marxist Pope wants all the strong, radical, Social Justice gospel heespanick, invaders of America to drop GIANT Catholic liters of children so they can overtake the white population throughout the USA as they have in California. Yeah, so the Pope doesn’t want them to abort their babies. And he used the gangbanger imagery that only his flock of followers would understand … “hitman”. Read: rival gang execution.

This Pope is doing Satan’s work. And that just doesn’t square with the history of the Church … let alone the Gospel.

          2. And that just doesn’t square with the history of the Church … let alone the Gospel.

It does if you interpret it in terms of “liberation theology” and the “social gospel”.

Of course, all that is justified by quoting obscure passages of Scripture, particularly from a number of the minor Olt Testament prophets. Never mind that those passages were meant for a completely different context–it nicely fits the ideology that the Holy Left has been ramming down our throats for more than 50 years.

That same Holy Left now runs just about every major Protestant denomination.

  2. The consensus among many Catholics is that Francis is a bad shepherd and may very well be the last Pope.
    Just sayin’

    1. And I am one of them. I’m not sure if he is going to be the last pope. There have been other, shall we say, “less than ideal” pontiffs, but the church has survived. What I do know is that this pope is creating a schism within the church. The last time this happened was the creation of the reformist movement led by Martin Luthor. The church will most likely survive, but we won’t recognize what it will become.

  3. Francis is a servant of Satan. Of if you’re not of a religious bent, Francis is a marxist devoted to destroying western civilization. Same end result. Evil prospers, good is wiped out and humanity goes through the hard times that produce hard men (and I mean men, not women).

    1. Francis is a marxist devoted to destroying western civilization

He’s from South America (Argentina, I believe). That’s the continent where the heresies of “liberation theology” and the “social gospel” originated.

      1. Also Home of Paulo Freire’s “Pedagogy of the Oppressed”, which I believe is a keystone opus behind much of the leftist indoctrination of public and, yes, many private schools.
