    1. Will someone please tell this creep that the film “Little Big Man” was simply make-believe Hollywood tripe? Sheesh … he has donned the Hollywood film’s wardrobe

  1. Admittedly I didn’t know what a “sixties scoop survivor” was. Guess I learned something today.

    1. For a long time I thought “sixties scoop survivor” was somebody who retired on disability from Ben and Jerry’s.

  2. Why not?
The mans claims are at least as true as those of most of our Native Chiefs,Politicians and Bureaucracies.
IF HE “IDENTIFIES” AS A SAVAGE ,then savage he be.
If he believes he was “Scooped up” into captivity by government,in the 1960s he may be right..I suspect we all were.
Pierre the Idiot really did a number on Canada.

The effete elites may come to regret questioning the fellows delusions as “investigation” would collapse their whole industry.
This is the primary weakness of Kleptocracy and Parasites R Us,once they start fighting amongst themselves,it becomes obvious that they are all lying.
Lying useless freeloaders, who poison the well, where ever they go..

So this “Artist” tells a fine story, lives it too and produces “Art” that sells..
He really does produce a product people are willing(Voluntarily) to buy.
Which is a damn sight more than we can say about the persons attacking his claims..

I see a new way to make Progressive Heads explode.
    “Onagottay” what a smart choice.
Next? A politician with the name “I’m a retard”,just for the joy of strangling reporters.

    1. Morris Onagottay for governor general or the Senate !!
John, Pierre was anything but an idiot …. his son is a halfwit but Pierre was very bright … misguided perhaps but if you were in Ottawa in the 1960s & 70s u know he was dealt a pretty bad hand between the Quebec separatists & the US leaving the gold standard and causing inflation to go through the roof.
Probably the best book I have read on those times is Trudeau and Our Times https://www.bing.com/search?q=trudeau+and+our+times&cvid=e8b087c2b30e4f9aaecc2f21a10f414b&aqs=edge.0.0.8347j0j1&pglt=163&FORM=ANNTA1&PC=U531
John English’s Just Watch Me is a good read too IMO.

      1. Sorry Stewartpid, actions speak louder than words.
We have the Charter,The Flag and decades of debt and destruction thanks to Pierre.
        Misguided becomes idiot very rapidly.
The draft dodging nazi supporter was so bright,he fooled EASTERN CANADA for years.
Brought the West to their knees and boasted about the success of divide and conquer..
That is an idiot by any definition,in my eyes.

      2. stewartpid:

        PET …. Very bright.
When I was a student, a university prof in Atlantic Canada told me that PET’s IQ was 180. Wait there’s more: 180 in the shade.
If it’s true, which I seriously doubt, it is textbook proof that being bright in and if itself is irrelevant. He loved Mao and Castro. So a very bright fool then.

Oh, and Obama was the brightest man in any room.

    2. If he wasn’t passing himself off as Indian would his ‘art’ sell?

Maybe he’s about to find out.

  3. I wonder if he’s related to the Bellamy clan?…I’ll have to check on Ancestry.ca…maybe after 5 pm when I’ve had a beer.

    1. I guess in my self perceived cleverness I got Archie Belaney (Grey Owl’s) name wrong. I’ll have to have 2 beers next time!

  4. Interesting name he chose.
I will use the native name “Inottagay”.
I don’t know about being “flatfoot”, but I can be “sorefoot”…..

  5. Wasn’t there a book and movie about this guy?

    Second last of the Warrenookees.

  6. Morris Onagottay for governor general or the Senate !!

    1. ” … but Pierre was very bright …”

You talking about the Pierre that married Shaggy Maggie? That Pierre?

Oh yeah, a *&^%$#g genius if there ever was one.

  7. Hey, why not, it worked for Grey Owl.

Re: “Over the years, Blanchard has accrued multiple awards and grants from public institutions, including the City of Kingston and Queen’s University. ”

At least Grey Owl isn’t a grant sucker as far as I know.

    1. Grey Owl mostly kept to his cabins in Manitoba and Saskatchewan. He fed and cared for himself. He was mostly a charming scamp, a PT Barnum-like character. Mostly harmless.

The same cannot be said of today’s Woke Cultural Marxists/Freeloaders.

  8. I knew an artist with similar claims who was a good marketer. He appealed to European tourists and entertained them at his longhouse style building near Campbell River. I was at it on business as we were going to use him to entertain German forest products customers. An Indian looking lady served us bannock and Alder-barbequed Salmon and when she left the room, our host told us that she was Italian but she looked Indian enough to work for him. In subsequent discussions with the Indian chief with whom I was compelled to engage in “consultations”, he was enraged when I mentioned the scammers name and he said, “He’s not a f…ing Indian, he may have f…ed an Indian, but he’s not a f…ing Indian.”

  9. Question; under the new rules, are you allowed to tell someone what they can self identify as?

  10. Why does the CBC report that this man has been “making inaccurate claims for decades about being Indigenous and a Sixties Scoop survivor” by his family, but reports that people can simply “declare” which sex they are?

    They seem inconsistent.
Perhaps we’re all indigenous and should be fishing and hunting all year long.
and I have no problem with this…

    1. Very true Mark, these are the same A holes who cheered the courts punishing a father who refused to accept his daughters mental illness.
How dare they challenge his Nativeness?
If it identifies as “Precious” then they must call it so..
Oh wait those are the rules for us,the less than special ones.
CBC The Constantly Biased Corpse ,long dead and still consuming public time and resources.

  11. “From what I understand, my mom told me that we did have a little bit of Indigenous in us. She said it was ‘Flatfoot.’ … I’m not sure what that means.”

It means that your mom had a great sense of humour .

  12. Went to an event the other day. The usual “we are on treaty land” B.S. was invoqued. They had a drum circle and chanting. The men were wearing the traditional native garb of Cabella’s t-shirt and filthy jeans. The only one dressed as a native was a woman performing the hoop dance (which I actually enjoyed after the banging and yelling of the previous 10 minutes).

When people dress trying too hard, you know the’re fake.

  13. Ms. McMillan, you duped me into reading the CBC. I hadn’t done that in two years and I don’t intend to do it again.

    1. File this under the “know your enemy” file to put your morals and conscience at ease.
