   I had to give appreciation to those beautiful Olympic Canadian women soccer heroes.

   Canada defeated the U.S. 1-0 in women’s soccer at the Olympics today. The defeat came in the tournament semi-finals. Thus, a bronze medal is the best the U.S. can do in this sport this year.

   It gave me wet dreams.

5. They’re impaled upon a pillar of smug, thinking it lets them see farther. While those of us who stand up and walk away actually have a much clearer view.

   The people running them are all much smarter than us rubes. And they will be happy to tell us next time they deign to talk us to us peasants. If we ever happen to enter their wonderful cities of LA, NYC, SF, and Washington DC, because the only reason they would be caught dead in Omaha, El Paso, or Canton is if their sainted politicians are huckstering for votes among the unwashed.

7. They don’t care if if costs them 10 million bucks to spread their propaganda. As long as people read it and take it seriously they’re happy. They’re not in it to make money, they’ve got lots of other ways to make more than enough money to cover the expense.
