  1. “Your Welcome”. That’s the title of his show. I’m confused. What the hell does “Your Welcome” mean? Is that addressed to me? If so, what about my welcome? I don’t even know what my welcome is.

    1. It’s a troll meant to trigger people who feel the need to correct comments that have “your” instead of “you’re”.

      1. But it is sloppy grammar, and instead of adding clarity, it removes it. I don’t bother to call people on their grammar, though. I just make them live with the results of it. That typically smartens them up.

“My welcome? Did I order one from Amazon? Has one arrived for me Huh? Help, I don’t understand…”

  2. I usually watch/listen for 10-15 minutes to get a sense of it, so far (12 minutes)… it is well worth it.

Carol Roth: The War on Small Business. The title alone should provoke some interest

  3. She is sharp and the book sounds worthwhile. He has a very unfortunate podcast name, as it looks like a common, very ignorant typo. Also, can his name really be Malice??

    1. See my comment above; the title is a joke or troll.
He chose his name in the spirit of Sid Viscous.

    2. I assumed (after listening to him) that he isn’t dumb and wouldn’t use your/you’re inappropriately. So I assumed he intended the meaning of “your welcome” … as in this is YOUR personal Welcome, delivered by the host.

  4. Can anyone name a mainstream political party that doesn’t pretend to have care & concern for small biz?

Same question for (corporate-subsidized) mainstream media?

  5. Small business was not joined at the hip with the political state the way large corporations are and as a result got screwed over during the Covid Stalinism. The new political alignment has working class and small business more conservative now that the left has gone fully institutional (corporate, academic, bureaucrat, cultural, and media) Good podcast!

    1. The entire notion of “essential” and “non-essential” business is utterly disgusting and should be declared unconstitutional and illegal.

    1. Never mind that all big business began as small ones. And they’re the smart ones? Sure, just ask them, and that’s what they’ll tell ya.

  6. I wouldn’t be surprised if China, with its extensive experience in cheap shoddy knockoffs, would be only too happy to step in and fill the gap.

    I wouldn’t be surprised if I soon saw…

  7. As I said to our Mayor back in February:

With all these businesses closed forever on Main Street, how the hell are you going to make up for that loss in your commercial tax base? Maybe get your provincial and federal buddies to get it for you from Amazon and the LCBO. Looks like they’ll be the only survivors when this horseshit is over.

  8. After a year and a half, every business is essential … Also, what is essential to me may be different from others. And … have you noticed? Open businesses are not working well, as they lack staff and supply lines, plus pent-up demand.

That video needs to be shortened to 4 points.
