  1. As I still see far too many people walking down the street, in the beautiful sunshine, alone, with masks on, I realize Canadians are mere sheep blindly following the narrative set out for them by the media and govt.

Re-Affirmed I made the right decision to cut the Cord 4-1/2yrs ago. After about 10 min, went outside to breath some BC wildfire smoke filled air….. maskless of course….

    Now the boy pig wants to take our rights away, and Canadians for the most part either don’t know, or don’t care. Nor would they care if they did know. I think they don’t care because they’re too wilfully ignorant to fully appreciate the situation.

  6. Poynter elsewhere takes Megyn Kelly to task for saying the Jan 6 event at the Capital was not as bad as the media makes it out to be. If you think that maybe ‘you weren’t there where the police officer was killed’. Yeah, with a fire extinguisher no doubt. After all, says Poynter, ‘it’s on video’. Maybe why trust in media is so low?

    2. Speaking of trusting the news, left wing CTV “News” says “Canadians don’t want to move to Alberta”. Fair enough, the people who want to destroy Alberta, i.e. Canadians, don’t want to move here. CTV notes “3,384 more people moved out of Alberta heading to other provinces than arrived here from them”.

      At the end of the article it notes “StatsCan data shows Alberta posted a net gain of 24,911 people from international locations in 2020. While still in positive territory, that was a drop of 49 percent from 48,805 net international migrants in 2019.”
      Can you believe it, things are so bad in Alberta that there was a 49% drop in international migrants during the border closings of the pandemic lockdowns. .

      This is bad news for people who read MSM news but can’t think for themselves.

  11. I can’t find it now but last week True North reported it was only 1in 6 Canadians that did not trust the news media. If more accurate than this report it it is a very disturbing trend. Way too many sheeple.

The problem is, the signpost has been knocked down so you don’t know which arrow pointed to which path. There are two men standing there, one always tells the truth, the other always lies but you don’t know which is the truth-teller and which is the liar. You are allowed to ask one of the men one question. What question should you ask?

    A: You ask “If I were to ask the other man which path led to Heaven, what would he answer?” Then whatever his answer is, you take the other path. If the man is the truth-teller he is going to tell you truthfully which path the liar will say is the (wrong) path, if the man is the liar he is going to lie about which path the truth-teller is going to say is the (correct) path. Either way, the man is going to tell you which is the wrong path.

    I don’t know why people don’t trust the media – once you know they lie all the time, they’re quite trustworthy.

  14. Shrug. In the upcoming federal election a huge chunk of the Canadian electorate (including folks on this blog) will either vote for the Party that used their money to buy off the press or will vote for opposition Parties that raised no objections.

  15. Voting here (Wuflu Republic of Australia) is compulsory. In the last few elections, at all levels (local, State and Federal), I marked my ballot papers NONE WORTH VOTING FOR. I explained to friends thusly. I fulfil my legal obligations by voting and getting my name marked off the electoral role accordingly. I complete my moral obligations by in no way supporting or endorsing candidates whose words, actions and beliefs I can only despise…

    Who answers the phone to pollsters?
    Who still carries on talking after you realize you misread the call display and a nosy scumbag got through to you?
    Who does these things?
    So when a poll claims to tell us what the citizens are thinking,you can be sure that the “thinking citizens” are the least likely to have been polled.

  18. About 20 years ago I figured out the news media had an agenda, and it wasn’t truthful unbiased journalism. Today you’d have to lie to say you can’t see it. Almost every story in the local news has an ‘activist’ slant to it. Everything pushes climate change. They take the Left position on everything, and either ignore or ridicule any other position.
