The “3rd wave” of C19 was LESS DEADLY than the “2nd wave”. In-hospital fatality rates for Toronto patients: 2nd wave: 27% 3rd wave: 14%. The 3rd wave produced ~the same # of hospitalizations as the 2nd wave (~4,000), but just ~HALF the deaths (602 vs 1,054)

The Dark Horse Podcast is actively moving its audience to odysee (give it a few seconds for the audio to kick in) they go over a number of covid and censorship related topics including this study. Pointing out among other things that covid deaths tend to be the elderly while vaccine deaths tend to be younger people and asking the ethical question, “are we needlessly sacrificing the young for the old”.

    Low death rates should be celebrated, they are not some “gotcha” moment. Btw USA and Canada covid death rates are nearly the same.

      Other than a very few frail elderly folks I know, everyone else cites other reasons to support their decision:

      (a) have to help things get back to normal
      (b) I want to travel
      (c) pressure from workplace/employer
      (d) coercion by family
      (e) etc. etc.

      Submission to blackmail, by any other name smells the same.

  4. It’s like the hand-wringing about the Indian (Delta) variant. Global “News” was shrieking about rising numbers of the Indian variant at the same time case numbers were plummeting. No mention that the Indian variant is 1/3 as deadly as seasonal influenza. Gotta keep the panic pr0n going.

          It is easily demonstrable, in addition to being experientially valid, that viruses mutate to weaker forms, like the “Delta.”

          Covid, which is likely a super virus constructed by humans, with a DNA strand not found in nature, but coincidentally in the Wuhan Virology lab, is not weakening by mutation as one would expect, but the fact remains new cases of new variants are rising but hospitalizations and deaths aren’t. There is no cure for common colds, where covid is mutating.

          Allan S. doesn’t get this because he/it doesn’t want to. Their prefer their mutation called scientism, aka ignorance.

    1. Yet according to your link you are 9x more likely to catch Delta unvaccinated, multiply that into your numbers and you are less likely to die from Delta.

      But since you are 9x as likely to catch it, you are much more likely to spread. In short: get vaccinated.

      You are also ignoring demographics. The older people are more likely to be vaccinated.

      3. You are also ignoring the fact that the CDC has stopped testing or following outcomes for the Delta variant unless the person ends up in hospital. If they don’t end up in hospital their numbers get lumped in with the first bunch of COVID. Therefore the Delta variant outcomes are highly skewed towards those who were sick enough to end up in hospital. Furthermore the CDC has ordered a differential cycles of PCR test rate between the vaccinated (much lower 24 cycles to avoid “false positives” and unvaccinated (38 cycles to be sure we don’t miss any). The result is potentially much higher false positive rates among the unvaccinated and much higher false negatives among the vaccinated. (All of this described by the Dark Horse, Brett Weinstein.

        There are three possible explanations. 1) These people are incompetent. 2) These people are so blinded by their fear of COVID they aren’t thinking straight. 3) There is some nefarious plot to extend and cover up the fact that COVID is not as horrible as everyone thinks. Oh I suppose I could add all of the above.

          If you look at the numbers on page 12 you will find that twice the number of unvaccinated people as all stages of vaccinated people got the delta variant but both groups had almost the same mortality rate. Of particular interest is the 14 days post dose 2 group that has 6.74% of all infections in the group 4087 out of 60624 but has 35.62% of the mortality 26 out of 73

    2. Actually thst is very worrisome. It confirms one of the concerns about the vaccine — that while it may successfully reduce serious cases of the current virus, it weakens the immune system overall, so subsequent viruses are a problem. That is why long-term testing is critical, and we have not had that with the MRNA shots.

        Case counts are absolute bullshit and we now have proof: the Manitoba director of public health admitted, under oath, that they’re using cycle counts between 30 and 40 on their PCR tests. And that at a cycle count of 18, only ~50% of their PCR-positive samples produced live lab cultures (IOW, were from actually contagious people).

        Unverified reports are that Ontario is also using cycle counts of 30+.

        All case count numbers are fictional.

    Young people can breed. Old people, generally do not. If the goal is depopulation, then how are the words “sacrifice” or “needlessly” even applicable.

The real numbers on the ground, tell us that this shit flu has been no worse than the seasonal flu and I don’t give a damn if your obese, heart deficient, freaking uncle, cousin, aunt or grandmother who was 99 died and had a freaking positive test a year before they died. Bullshit writ large. Use your mind people.

    1. I am reminded of the situation that occurred in a nearby town from where I live. A man gets COVID screening before going into hospital for some minor routine surgery. OMG! He comes up positive! The health officials swoop in and test everyone and because his grandson visited him that includes the school. Half the town comes up positive and the school is closed and everyone is in a blind panic. NOT ONE PERSON IN TOWN HAD ANY SYMPTOMS!

      Two weeks later, well after the lockdown of the school ended, an obese teacher with diabetes ends up in hospital and tests positive and dies after a nearly three month stay in the ICU. Conclusion: She must have got COVID from an asymptomatic carrier in town who refused to wear a mask!

      It is as rational as blaming Jews for poisoning the wells and thereby causing the Black Plague.

  12. If anyone from the government is talking, they are lying.

    Alberta’s % vaccinated has kept going up, even though virtually nobody is getting a first dose anymore. What’s happening is the government is slowly lowering the number of adults, and report percentages vaccinated, so that they look like the numbers are going up.

    Another example…Alberta reports that “only” 13% of COVID Deaths since Jan 1 are vaccinated. Between Jan 1 and Feb 1, daily Covid deaths were probably an order of magnitude higher than post Feb 1…and nobody had been vaccinated by that point. (I.e. they lumped a large number of unvaccinated deaths into their reporting period. If you were to change the reporting period to post Feb., or better, post 50% vaccinated, you would find the percent of COVID deaths in vaccinated people to be WAY higher than the 13% they report.

    (But remember…if those dead folks hadn’t been vaccinated, they would have had a much worse case of COVID…or something like that…)
