  1. I suspect we are the target of one of those organized “colour revolutions” and much of this recent uproar is orchestrated (by the far left) for the purposes of advancing globalist agendas. These agendas are really disguised pro-China and pro-Saudi since none of the terms and conditions apply to them, leaving them free to pursue their agendas.

    Canadians have two choices. Either they support a real conservative alternative (one or two exist) or they surrender and allow people in other countries to dictate our politics and turn the Canadian people into slaves.

    I already made my choice and I’m sure most of you did also. The problem is, we are a very small minority and now another part of the colour revolution is this move to criminalize dissent using the excuse of “diversity” (which really means something else) to cover what is essentially the abrogation of our constitutional rights.

    It’s a time for decision among conservatives. Some want to keep on supporting the failed and anemic Faux-con party which is either too weak when it says the right things, or out of step with us when it says the wrong things.

    They say mental illness is trying to do things you already know cannot work. That would be supporting the faux-cons. You might as well stay home and not vote at all if that’s your choice next time.

          Ya know, even ten years ago, five even, I would have seriously considered it, but today with the upheavals there, Biden/Harris and SJW twitterati/BLM/etc, I might just as well stay here and marinate in the diseased Canadian pus! I have developed a certain amount of natural immunity to it, but to go through the upheaval of moving to the US, and marinating in your pus, and having, almost zero immunity to that disease….what’s the point?

      Take it apart by Province and let the people of each Province decide what they want to do and how they want to manage their own affairs.

          Harper was never going to change the country, we were fooled. The whole “Reform party” movement was ultimately a fraud. Thats why most Reform MPs eventually quit and took the fat pension because they learned on the inside that the country is too far gone and can never be reformed in any meaningful way. This country operates under a culture of corruption and political secrecy and it has done so since at least the 60″s… and you know what, no one is going to stop it, not CSIS and certainly not the corrupt RCMP.
          China owns the politicians and a great many bureaucrats along with the University’s.

And taxs consume more of the family budget of the average Canadian than food, clothing and shelter the 3 necessities of life. A criminal level of taxation. Canada the country is a scam and a fraud. It’s sole purpose is to make work for government flakes and feed a massive bureaucracy at the destruction of the citizen. It is a bureaucratic prison. A huge tax scam pyramid scheme. Not a country for free citizens. Canada in 1998 had over 550,000 pages of laws and rules and regulations. It is a nightmare a criminal organization. Break it up.

      Like home delivered electricity. Both AC and DC electrical generation. And the internal combustion engine (cars/skidoos/inboard and outboard boat motors). And the jet engine. And the supertanker. And the liquid fuel rocket. And the cotton Jenny. And the mechanical loom. And programmable computing machines (and their latest derivatives, cell phones and tablet computers). And the refrigerator and freezer. And anything with transistors.

      So they can take themselves back to the bronze age or shrug and get along with society at large. Oh, and they need freeing from their Marxist enclaves.

      1. They never made it to the bronze age in North America from what I recall of my brief lessons on the indigenous peoples here. Stone age hunter gatherers with some smattering of permanent habitation. Some working of copper, but it was mainly surface copper from near the great lakes. A lot of stone tools, knapped and otherwise worked into usable weapons and implements.

        I prefer to think of the peoples who populated North and South America as the first walkers. Although there is some evidence of some South American peoples having a lot in common with Polynesians and other South Oceania peoples. At any rate, we still don’t know for sure that there not other peoples living in North America before they managed to migrate from Asia because any attempts at archeology that could pre-date them are stamped on as heretical. Almost as if the truth could upset the payment cart. If they were not the first peoples of NA, then European “settlers” we just another in a line of “settlers” I guess. That could harm the “turtle island” claims and all of the crying over European meanies becomes moot as they were just as much displacers as any other society.

        2. It is so bad that they are even claiming, that Norse artifacts found in Canada predating the existence of the Inuit, woven sheep’s wool and evidence of smelting of iron and bronze was done by the Inuit. Yah sure the Inuit raised sheep and spun wool and wore wool clothing now.
          They are so hell bound on distorting science and historical fact to kiss these peoples ass it is beyond belief.

    1. Yeah – a lot of Canadians have commented on this…that they’ve lived their whole lives in Canada and never heard “aboot” – until JJ. And he also does “aroond” instead of “around.”

      At first, I thought he was doing it as a goof to troll American viewers. But apparently, it’s legit.

      He’s in Vancouver. I spent 10 years of my life in BC…but never heard anything like that in my time there. Must be a regional thing…like with “eh.”

      1. I considered that he was doing in on purpose or that he isn’t actually Canadian but as often as I’ve heard that we pronounce it this way, I believe this is the first time I’ve heard anyone do it.

      3. I went to elementary school with JJ (Coquitlam/Port Moody area). The “aboot” thing is an affectation. No one else from our area speaks like that. No issue with it, but it is definitely not a regional dialect in this case.

    5. Coming from the US to Ontario many years ago, I used to hear “aboot” quite regularly. I have not heard it for a while, but perhaps my ear is no longer picking it up. Maybe it’s an Eastern thing. Many (most?) people in Van are from elsewhere.

An economic collapse might see a temporary abandonment of the dominant leftist pathology but their normal state is brain dead NDP, Quebec shakedown and paranoia, and Eastern Liberal kleptocracy, all now infused with green theology and cultural Marxism. Politics, being the schoolyard battle for the hearts and minds of the mindless mushy middle (witness the pathetic disgrace of the CPC), the only hope for Canada is a multi-generation cultural movement from which politics will follow. More likely will be external powers taking over while the Eloi stand and watch.

  7. The UNDRIP makes for some interesting reading. Included is a reference to where indigenous people do NOT have the rights outlined in the declaration. From my reading, it seems that if the indigenous people were conquered by war, they do not qualify for rights under this declaration. I would assume this was put in to save litigation against most countries from those people who previously controlled the area. That said, had the gov’t of Canada declared war against the natives and those tribes had accepted defeat, we would not be subject to these changes brought about by accepting the UNDRIP. We will not be retroactively claiming war victory so it is a moot point.

  10. That was very interesting. I haven’t seen any of his videos for couple of years and I guess Covidism ha saken its toll. First, he has the Covid look; uncut longer hair, even moustache. But he is a coupkle of years older. Also, his latent cynicism is becoming strongre; I hope this doesn’t corrode his youthful ambitions.

  12. Who is this fool? You want history, I’ve got history. First of all, Canadians didn’t spend 2 seconds thinking about Indians. When there was no welfare system for anyone, why would it cross anyone’s mind to put Indians on welfare. People worked to allow them to live and Indians worked harder than anyone. If you couldn’t work, there was family. If there was no family, there was the church.

    The American part is true. The reason Canada exists is to keep real estate out of American hands.

    Keep the French out? Wrong. Canada, since 1759 has been about giving French Canada a teat to suck on. Instead of acting like the conquerors they were, the British encouraged a 5th column within the Empire. That 5th column of traitors is still crushing English Canada’s dreams.

    1. Kaybec is an anachronism ….. France about 1600, before the Revolution. A backwater. Even the real French look down on these throwbacks with disdain. Just look at their “old towns”. Butted up to the road, row housing. Until they got their arses handed to them on the Plains. Their biggest enemy was the Catholic Church. Commies and racists all. They’d collapse without Equalization payments, the ultimate welfare state, courtesy of the Trudeaus et al, the “Elites”.

      1. Well, the old town of Quebec City was the English part of town. The city within the walls was knocked flat during the siege, and all but a dozen or so of the local families left when the British offered free passage out. The old town we know today was built by the new English colonists (some indeed New English), and was called in its time the Newcastle of America. There was nobody there but the English, the Laval College crew, and the original dozen French families, right into the 20th century, almost to WW1. The French moving in from the country built new neighbourhoods and suburbs outside the wall. They moved in on a substantial scale only after Ww1, and didn’t fully take over until the 50s, when the English decamped en masse to suburban Sillery. So, if you don’t like the lay of the place, it may not be Little Baptiste who’s to blame.
