For two hundred forty years, American generals have not exactly been defined by adamant public advocacy for left-wing cultural dogma. Yet there appeared to be a great awakening at the Pentagon on Wednesday when Gen. Mark Milley, the highest-ranking military officer in the U.S. as Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, testified at a House hearing. The Chairman vehemently defended the teaching of critical race theory at West Point and, referencing the January 6 Capitol riot, said, “it is important that we train and we understand … and I want to understand white rage. And I’m white.”

In response to conservative criticisms that top military officials should not be weighing in on inflammatory and polarizing cultural debates, liberals were ecstatic to have found such an empathetic, racially aware, and humanitarian general sitting atop the U.S. imperial war machine. Overnight, Gen. Milley became a new hero for U.S. liberalism, a noble military leader which — like former FBI Director Robert Mueller before him — no patriotic, decent American would question let alone mock. Some prominent liberal commentators warned that conservatives are now anti-military and even seek to defund the Pentagon.

It is, of course, possible that the top brass of the U.S. military has suddenly become supremely enlightened on questions of racial strife and racial identity in the U.S., and thus genuinely embraced theories that, until very recently, were the exclusive province of left-wing scholars at elite academic institutions. Given that all U.S. wars in the post-World War II era have been directed at predominantly non-white countries, which — like all wars — required a sustained demonization campaign of those enemy populations, having top Pentagon officials become leading anti-racism warriors would be quite a remarkable transformation indeed. But stranger things have happened, I suppose.

But perhaps there is another explanation other than righteous, earnest transformation as to why the top U.S. General has suddenly expressed such keen interest in studying and exploring “white rage”. Note that Gen. Milley’s justification for the military’s sudden immersion in the study of modern race theories is the January 6 Capitol riot — which, in the lexicon of the U.S. security state and American liberalism, is called The Insurrection.

      1. “Spanked him??” I would say Tucker kicked Milley in the nuts then took a belt to his backside. Tucker said, “He’s not just a pig. He’s stupid!” This remark must have drawn blood. Four Star Gen. Barry McCaffrey (trig westpointer most succinctly bred) tried to come to Milley’s rescue by phoning Fox News and demanding that Tucker be fired. To no avail I’m sure.

        I’m looking forward to tonight’s Tucker Show where I’m sure his response to the 4-stars will be “I will not kiss your f*cking flag. There is some sh*t I will not eat.”

        1. I went to the same secondary school as Tucker. The school had faults but it at least it used to instill in us a strong sense of patriotism. Impressive stat: Just under 20% of my graduating went to Harvard, albeit that was over 50 years ago when Harvard had not turned into its present, mushy Progressive condition. Back then St Georges accepted 1 student for every 8 applicants. We went to church every day and twice on Sunday. It was a very old fashioned school and it was terrific before it lost it way in the 1970’s.

          Bottom line: We learned when someone was lying to us, when someone was cowardly and when someone was garbage. General Milley is a piece of garbage. By the way I volunteered for the US Army at 18 and also went to Harvard. As a veteran I can tell you without any reluctance that Milley has sold out his country and he is a TRAITOR.

  5. When did Canada get a military? Could we field an army of 5,000? Maybe, but we couldn’t sustain it. Our air force flies jets that would result in pilots dying without ever knowing what killed them, and we have old, slow, poorly armed frigates. Canada is entirely undefended.

    1. Peter, to think that Canada fielded an army of 1,000,000 men when our country only had 11,000,000 people in it. At the end of the WWII, we had the third largest navy and air force in the world. And that was under a Liberal government.

    1. Didley, The only chance they’ll have of disarming the American citizenry would be if they can bring the military to bear against their own citizens. That might be part of the plan, but I doubt they can “persuade” their enlisted units to follow such orders. They might even bring in UN troops to complete that assignment. These idiots plan such things in a reality vacuum, and as the military says, battle plans are perfect, until you engage your enemy. I just don’t see that plan getting accomplished, even if slow Joe, does have F15’s and nukes. The majority of our American friends still have Anglo Saxon roots, and you might want to read the poem by Rudyard Kipling “Beware the awakened Saxon”.

  24. Well folks. I can’t speak for anyone but myself but I never wanted an empire in the first place. I suppose we had to keep troops in Europe to keep the Germans down and the Russians out but that should have been the extent of it.
