  1. Asia was one of those under-rated bands that are in the “came and went” category. I remember listening to that song on the radio, and maybe one or two more, in the early 1980s and that was the last I heard of it.

    1. Yup. Definitely popular as a t-shirt in my high school at the time. Great logo and the accompanying artwork. I miss those old vinyl album covers back in the day. Kids today don’t know what they’re missing.

    2. They were never under-rated…. maybe under-appreciated.

I remember Asia at the time being considered by many a “supergroup” , they were kinda progressive rock’s version of the “Traveling Wilburys” phenomenon. Although, many albums in, others started referring to them as a “Christian band”. They have certainly been one of my all-time favorite groups, such a talented mix of musicians and composers have contributed over the years.

Heavy drums, keyboards, great vocals and harmony, screaming gittars… nothing there a guy like me wouldn’t love.

    3. Love, love, love Asia. When I first heard “Heat of the Moment,” I couldn’t get to Sam’s fast enough to buy the album. Geoff Downes is incredible on keyboards.

      1. Supposedly it was the day in 1865 Union troops turned up in Galveston, Texas, to turn the local Negroes loose.

Black Americans have been using it as an excuse to drink and raise Cain ever since.

        1. Except the last slaves were not freed until the Thirteenth Amendment to the US Constitution was passed and enacted. “The exceptions were Kentucky and Delaware, where slavery was finally ended by the Thirteenth Amendment in December 1865.”

          https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thirteenth_Amendment_to_the_United_States_Constitution

Secretary of State Seward, on December 18, 1865, certified that the Thirteenth Amendment had become valid, to all intents and purposes, as a part of the Constitution.

So the last slaves in the US were actually freed on December 18,1965. Maybe we should be celebrating December 18th instead?

Maybe we should celebrate the original date that Lincoln Issued the Emancipation Proclamation in 1862?

      2. When did Ebonics become an official language. Apart from everything else, why not call it June 19th? Oops, my bad.

      3. Seen on Twitter: “The very name “Juneteenth” hints at the retarded future that awaits.”

        1. Lol. July 4th can become JulEYEth.
Numbers are Racist & Hard. To count past ten many have to take off their shoes.

          1. “To count past ten many have to take off their shoes.”
Ahh, so that’s why I see so many looking down at their feet and mumbling.

If dayeda lurnd 2 reed n’ rite, dey couda hada pinseel n’ paprstuff to keep dem ansahs ritn down! Sted, dey kip doin da saym maff ovah n’ ovah.
no wunda itz hard 2 git ahed n da wurld.

Not sure my ebonic grammar is correct, but I’m trying.

    1. I am sure the guns were registered to lawful licensed gun owners. No worries, soon they will be outlawed and shootings will end. Sure they will.

BTW a net search for “rexdale shooting” returns multiple references to multiple events. Wonder what is it about that area.

      1. I lived in Toronto for 25 years. Rexdale and the NW section of Toronto is where a majority of black people and Somalians live.

  2. To the corporate media:

Nobody with any sense of proportion gives a damn that Jill Biden had to have her Alsatian destroyed. Get back to us when Doug Emhoff has Joe Biden destroyed.

Should You Get Vaccinated? By Steve Kirsch May 25th, 2021

    https://trialsitenews.com/should-you-get-vaccinated/

“I always get vaccinated. I have been fully vaccinated with the Moderna COVID vaccine. My three daughters have all been vaccinated.

I recently learned that these vaccines have likely killed over 25,800 Americans (which I confirmed 3 different ways) and disabled at least 1,000,000 more. And we’re only halfway to the finish line. We need to PAUSE these vaccines NOW before more people are killed.”

    More after the fold…

    1. A S. That is correct and people who took the shot can be considered the lab rats in this giant experiment and those of us who didn’t are the control group. I worry that millions may die with the annual flu season in the fall. I believe the problem rests with the spike protein that is created. The “vaccines are not “vaccines” as we know them as there is no virus present from which immunity can be developed. No one is “vaccinated” by these not-vaccines.

      1. OWG.

Precisely…. didn’t Pfizer themselves come out and state categorically that their mRNA jab will NOT Impart immunity – rather its designed to reduce the “severity of the symptoms” – so now ya have some 50-150 million True Asymptomatic Morons running around – looking perfectly healthy and sheddding the spike protein like an Aeorsol spraying biplane….

Those of us who decided this shit was not for us are the targets.

Like I said, this is a DESIGN Feature…. ” if we cant get ya at the front door, we’ll catch ya going out the back” There is your latent LETHALITY – by DESIGN. (IMO)

      2. VOWG

Do the world a favor and educate yourself a bit before spreading utter BS that you heard from your buddy at the coffee shop

      1. That’s correct, Allan. The attending doctor determines cause of death, and then reports it to VAERS when the death appears related to the vaccines. VAERS just collects the reports into a database.

    2. Thst was a fascinating and concerning article. We need our MSM to summarize and relate these concerns to the public. So many people in my cohort are oblivious, while I have been following the many valid concerns about the pandemic, how it has been handled, and about the vaccines. I feel like I am living in an alternative universe.

      1. The MSM has sold out, and is fully political, in the pockets of the Liberal Party of Canada, bribed and paid for.

Yes, we are being gaslighted on a daily basis. Scott Adams has stated for a few years now “There are two movies, which one are you watching?” The MSM, in league with the corrupt leftist governments, are playing the fantasy world Utopia movie, where facts don’t matter, immediate final judgements are rendered without investigations, and FEELINGS!

Our job is to resist, object and not participate in their Fantasy. At some point, there will be a Black Swan event that will shatter their False Reality, but that may take years to happen.

There are no more newscasts, it is 24/7 propaganda. Witness Keith Baldrey of Glowbull “News”. He is a paid propagandist of the BC NDP, masquerading as a reporter. He reads the government propaganda word for word, blowing sunshine up the asses of the viewers with every statement. It is nauseating how corrupt this is. He never has anything to question or debate official government policy, it is all red sunshine and red roses. I wonder which riding he will run in as the NDP candidate next election?

        Unwatchable!

  4. Asia sucked. That song sucked. It’s not a mystery as to why they were a one hit wonder.

  5. His cornbread is soft in the middle. This is how hopelessly we are screwed. When an elected Politician asks the US Forest Service if they can alter the orbit of the moon to deal with Climate Change.
What kind of GOO are these people taking. The Brainwashing Is Strong In This One.

      1. Louie Gohmert is a climate change denier. He was making fun of the Forest Service for saying that they are going to tackle climate change. Watch Joe Biden for about 10 or 15 seconds if you want to experience “bag of hammers dumb”.

    1. That is exceptionally stupid. Do you know what can be done to improve the environment and reduce CO2? Plant trees. I don’t believe humans are responsible for climate change, but planting trees is beneficial in many ways.

    2. Sorry Watcher, but Gohmert is taking the piss, sounding out just how stupid the ideologue in front of him is.
he does aa fair bit of such ,work.
Where he uses their words,to mock ’em.

  6. And another gift of covid

“Time For Linux Phone. State Installed Ghost Software…”

    “Why?

We now have an Existence Proof of State Installed Tracking Software, against your will, that re-installs upon removal.

Note that what this app does is essentially “contact tracing”, one of the basics of spy craft used to identify all your “associates”, known or otherwise.”

and comments. Both Iphone and Android phones

    1. I don”t have a “smart” phone for years. Kyocera flippy, industrial grade and I can turn off the internet (it’s off) at my whim.
      It’s a “phone”. Period.

    2. Ive been waiting for the Librem 5 phone being produced in the USA. Its Linux based and can become your home PC with a USB C port and converging a monitor, a keyboard and mouse.
It uses physical switches to disconnect bluetooth, wifi, microphone and GPS.
I did some checking today. It doesnt look good.
Sadly, it has a lot of trouble making calls. Could it be carriers arent recognizing something NOT embedded in its privacy focused software?

    3. Well…I knew in the back of my mind that my BlackBerry Z30 4g would come in handy one day.

No Google or Droid App store on that puppy…minimal apps…could care less. Lived without them for decades and surprisingly, prior to “cell phones” I never knew I needed them.

BB’s were built to last…mine is now 11 yrs old and works PERFECTLY. And still, IMO, the BEST “PHONE” out there

    1. SQL code some smoking gun? LOL no

Folds in ballots that should nlt be there? This is from the Maricopa audit. Nobody is ever allowed to fold a ballot apparently.

“Ballots lacking chain of custody documentation are invalid.”

No they are not, no judge will toss ballots cast in good faith.

“Who filed a U.S. Patent Application for a computer system for “on-screen ballot duplication” to be used for “generating a revised ballot”?”

Perhaps the author should look up what ballot duplication is.

“The Dominion Forensic Audit in Antrim County, Michigan showed an error rate of 68.05% when the FEC guidelines allow for an error rate of 0.0008%. The forensic report concluded these “inherent errors” were used to “create systemic fraud”.”

Absolute BS. The antrim “audit” has been completely discredited in court. Read the report by the other guy on why the error rate narrative is full of shit. Heres a direct quote:

“In actuality, the 68% figure is meaningless. Scanning a single ballot produces a variable number of lines in the log file—ranging from two to dozens—often including many benign warnings or errors. Many other entries and warnings are generated during pre-election testing or while starting or shutting down the machine. This means that the fraction of lines that are errors does not represent a
fraction of ballots or votes, the entities for which an error rate would be relevant. Moreover, the errors in the log file do not mean what Mr. Ramsland purports them to. He claims that “[i]n Central Lake Township there were 1,222 ballots reversed out of 1,491 total ballots cast, resulting in an 81.96% rejection rate. All reversed ballots are sent to adjudication for a decision by election personnel”
(¶B.10, emphasis in the original). This is referring to log entries like those in Figure 10 that say “Ballot has been reversed”. However, these entries have nothing to do with adjudication. They simply mean that the ballot has been returned to the voter; i.e., the paper feeding mechanism has been reversed, as when a vending machine returns a dollar bill that has been misfed. This is a common and benign occurrence. ”

In reality this “summary” includes a whole bunch of nothingburgers and things that have already been settled in court.

      1. Usually I’m not rude, but are you stupid or ignorant, or is it malice?
Mail-in ballots must be folded to fit in return envelopes. We are talking about mail-in ballots that have not been folded.

  7. Blackie’s CBC has found another atrocity against Indians this morning. Big story on the monument to bush planes and pilots in Manitoba. Its obviously a symbol of white supremacy, because bush planes were used to transport children to residential schools. And the CBC is excited that Canada Day fireworks have been cancelled in a couple of towns in Alberta.

    1. I wonder how all those Army medics and nurses got to Kashechewan (northern Ontario) this week?

      York boat?
      Canoe?

  8. ..Setting off fireworks is as stupid as it gets. They terrorize wild and domestic animals, bring back bad memories for war veterans and people who lived in war zones.

    1. bring back bad memories for war veterans and people who lived in war zones

I recall that was the reason that a certain military air show was cancelled in Toronto a few years ago.

  9. Watching Hockey Night in Canada last night and apparently gay and trans people have dogs that love them and treat them better than most people do. I’m not sure what it’s supposed to prove. How long until only women, trans and gay POC are doing all sports commentary on that show?

    1. Which idiots call “unconditional love” of dogs. No, idiot, it is “you the life-form with the foods!” Forget to feed your dog and see how the “love” develops.

  10. Why have the premiers of the provinces not cancelled bilingualism and made english the official language. Justin Trudeau has insulted the ROC when he declared french as the official language in Quebec. Co’mon you premiers stand up and be counted

    1. wally, ” Co’mon you premiers stand up and be counted”, yeah, like that’ll ever happen!

  11. Canadian media is celebrating that one billion people have been vaccinated in China. Meanwhile over 350 doctors and other health care workers in Indonesia have gotten the China virus, even though they were fully vaccinated with the shitty vaccine from China.

  12. Another Father’s Day, another whining op-ed
from a woman about how men who have to work for a living don’t have time to take care of the kids.

    https://www.cnn.com/2021/06/18/opinions/fathers-day-working-dads-alaimo/index.html

Overwork is killing fathers, is it? Is it Dad spending most of the pittance the banks and the taxman allow him to keep on crap he doesn’t need?

The fathers of the western world keep what remains of our civilization together with both hands, for the sake of their children. This Father’s Day, will those unable to breathe a word of gratitude kindly keep their yaps shut.

  13. Happy Father’s Day. What’s left of it.
Had a look to see what kind of Father’s Day Meme’s of jokes wre on the net. Running about 90% Nasty shit

  14. L – “MP Derek Sloan raises concerns about censorship of doctors and scientists – June 17, 2021
    443,109 views” and growing.

Censor-tube may be hesitating to go after a channel of content produced by a branch of Parliament, the government of Canada. Or perhaps, the fed. Liberals are so confident with all Parliamentary Leaders in their back pocket, along the the MSM and all the provincial governments. That they feel as invincible, as the personification of evil, the Dragon of Chaos did just before St. George rode in and impaled it on his lance ?

Nothing like one of the defining narratives of Western Civilization lurking in the subconscious
waiting for the sound of a trumpet.

  15. “Asia” They need to change their racist name, like the Redskins and Eskimos did!

  16. L – File under, it’s probably nothing.

Sentiment on the El Salvador bitcoin announcement just went from publicity stunt to legitimate adoption.

As legal tender, all businesses must accept bitcoin as a payment method so long as the business has the technological capability to do so.

    In retrospect, it was inevitable.
