50 Replies to “That Didn’t Go The Way They Wanted”

    1. CNN is so desperate for viewers that they are allowing normal people to state their opinions!

      Strange days, etc…

      1. Isn’t THAT true!? Hahahaha ha … normal, rational, people on CNN. Their target audience must be sooooooo triggered

  1. Your chances of surviving the vaccine are astronomically better than surviving covid.

Anyone who got a light case of covid and no vaccine may find that they didn’t acquire any immunity. This is where reinfections, often serious, come from – people who got a very slight viral load. Or because they caught one variant and not the others. That DJ is very lucky he got that one shot, I know of another (American) musician his age who avoided the shot for the exact same reasons. He died from covid a few weeks ago, while he could’ve been vaccinated months ago.

But whatever. Most of you have decided to be free riders and rely on everyone else’s herd immunity. Pretty much par for the course for you lot. Just try not to take hospital beds away from people that need them whose medical problems weren’t avoidable with a vaccine.

    1. So. What about all those hospital and ICU beds occupied by those who willingly smoked, drank excessively, fooled with drugs, engaged in extreme sports, or ate too much junk food? What do you say to them?

      1. What about all those ICU beds from malice surgeons and doctors who performed and prescribed bad medicine? What do you say to them huh?

You don’t you just CYA and draw on your infinite medical malpractice fund.

    2. I’ll put money on a shortage of Ivermectin, because the new improved virus blew through your vaccine . And it won’t be from the unvaccinated.
And the gov will be caught with their pants down again.
Make sure you come back here and call me on it if I’m still kicking.
Otherwise mind your own buisness- vegetable

      1. So do these idiots who are calling “ caution “ think we should all have waited two more years and what would that prove if they are looking for long term effects. The fact is they are relying on the rest of us to take the risk, take the vaccine and keep them safe. There will be no good studies of long term effects unless statistically large enough numbers take the vaccine . If we all followed their very dubious reasoning no one would be vaccinated, people would continue to die and we still would not know if there were long term effects. What is a for sure thing is that we would have a lot more sick people and a lot more deaths.

        1. “So do these idiots who are calling “ caution “ think we should all have waited two more years and what would that prove if they are looking for long term effects. The fact is they are relying on the rest of us to take the risk, take the vaccine and keep them safe.”

Thalidomide was once given out by health professionals to alleviate pregnancy nausea, but is now used mainly for treating or alleviating leprosy, systemic lupus erythematosus and some cancers.

        2. Rationally, everyone should do their own personal risk assessment and risk tolerance for both covid and the covid vaccines. Some people are comfortable with the unknown long and short term covid risk knowing that getting it will provide broad protection from variants and reinfection. Others are comfortable with the unknown long and short term risks of the experimental covid shot because of its efficacy from the symptoms of the original virus and current variants. There’s no guarantees either way.

Think of the encoraging words often heard during low points of your life of “at least you have your health”. We implicitly know that as long as we are healthy, everything else can be rebuilt. Deciding which is the greater threat to your own health is a very personal decision. Remember that the people insisting you get the shot won’t know or care if you die or become disabled, not even bothering to send flowers to your funeral or hospital bed.

          1. ^^So much THIS.  Personal risk assessment.

Otherwise sometimes referred to as “my body, my choice.”

        3. There will be no good studies of long term effects unless statistically large enough numbers take the vaccine.

If you don’t like “taking the risk for others,” you shouldn’t have gotten any of the vaccines.  That’s why in standard long-term safety trials, vaccine developers use fully-informed volunteers, not average Joes/Josephines who are being railroaded into taking “the jab” by social pressure, shaming tactics and near-overt coercion.

“Thank you for your service, citizen-statistic.  Neeexxxxt!”

        4. Top “Doctor” Tam herself said last year a vaccine would take two years to prove out. How dare you question the science!

        5. The fact is they are relying on the rest of us to take the risk, take the vaccine and keep them safe.

Oh, so those of us who are skeptical should be grateful for your “sacrifice”? Fuhgeddaboudit.

        6. And there will be no studies at all of long term effects if everyone gets vaccinated. Who would be in your control group? Also, your taking the vaccine is not keeping me safe. Likely you took the vaccine because you believe it will keep YOU safe. There is no evidence that this particular vaccine is contributing to herd immunity.
The death toll of Covid is only 1%. Young people are at no risk for Covid and should not be being given the experimental vaccine. If you want real herd immunity, stop locking people up and allow the virus to spread among those who are young, healthy and not likely to become seriously ill.

          1. The control group issue is a particularly thorny one — it hearkens back to the early days of the pandemic when some people were screaming that we needed a co-ordinated, centralized response and approach to the virus.

That was the last thing we needed.  What was really needed was for a variety of approaches to be tried by many different groups, thus giving us a dataset of what worked, what didn’t and what appeared to be simply a waste of time and resources, or to put it another way, we needed human creativity to be brought to bear on this problem from as many different viewpoints as possible.  Well, we didn’t get that either, but at least we got some variation (which has turned out to give us some fruitful insights).

Control groups will always be necessary; you can’t do A/B comparisons without ’em.

    3. Or you may find out that that vaccine you got shot up with not only doesn’t give you immunity, but causes problems years down the road. And then find out that natural immunity lasts a lifetime.

But whatever. You’ve decided to be sheep and just do everything the unelected “experts” tell you without doing any of your own thinking, while offering your freedom up as a sacrifice to feeling safe.

I hope you get bi-montly MRI’s, heart scans, bloodwork, and colonoscopies, because most people die of cancer and heart problems. I know of a dj that died of that just last year.

    4. “Your chances of surviving the vaccine are astronomically better than surviving covid”

You know that do you, Doctor? Let’s see the actual statistics and some facts. Right. You have none and are just opining. Free riders? You’re a sheep repeating nonsense. Baaaaa. Carry on.

      1. “Your chances of surviving the vaccine are astronomically better than surviving covid”
        — definitely not true for young people. Might be true for very elderly.

    5. “Anyone who got a light case of covid and no vaccine may find that they didn’t acquire any immunity. This is where reinfections, often serious, come from – people who got a very slight viral load.”

      BASIC science DISAGREES WITH YOU.
Go peddle your fear-mongering ignorant BS someplace else.

      1. Actually you are wrong. There are people who have had the illness and later testing has shown they did not get long term immunity. There are individuals who have had Covid twice.
Perhaps caution is not the best descriptor of what prevents people from taking the vaccine. Perhaps it’s timidity . Step up and do your part to control this disease.

        1. C’mon Katie, lighten up – you really don’t want us all to get the shot do you? Who will be left to dig the mass graves for the “vaccinated” when the blood clots really start to hit in a few months. Someone needs to be left behind to clean up the mess.

    6. I just want to thank you all for clearly illustrating that you’re more accurately represented by Sherri Tenpenny from Ohio than any of those CNN interviewees.

    7. Antiq, I haven’t seen that research yet. Could you post up the links to the double blind randomized placebo studies and the peer reviewed papers you are referring to. (Gold standard and anything else is of course witchcraft) Thanks so much.

    8. Are you aware that the abdolute reduction of Covid risk with the vaccine is 1%. (Abdolute, not relative which is the figure the Pharmas use for marketing. ) There is really no evidence that the vaccines will provide herd immunity. They reduce symptoms (theoretically). That’s it. There is no evidence that they prevent transmission. That has not even been tested yet.

“Free rider” of what? I am simply hesitant to take an experimental gene therapy that has had no long-term term testing. In my view, the vaccines are akin to Frankenfoods.

    9. antiq – According to the CDC, there is a 2 in 10,000 chance of dying from Covid amongst all 20-49 year olds ***who get it***, and this includes the morbidly obese , insulin dependent diabetic and smoker with congestive heart failure.

      That’s a 99.98% survival rate.

You are a MORON and I hope COVID takes you out.

    1. Hey Antiq/UnMe, amazing that you found the time to leave your mother basement and the farm animals you hold hostage there to illucidate us all with your brilliance!!!

        1. Yes, the “sheep” that seeks out opposing viewpoints and responds directly. As opposed to you “wolves” that only listen to each other and shut out any facts that contradict your belief systems. Great analogy there.

          1. Remember, democracy is 2 wolves and a sheep sitting around the table discussing what’s for dinner.
            I’d rather be the wolf.

    2. Get Stuffed You Intolerant Twat dept.:
anti q is a variant of the hr covide 13.1 parasite
“Most of you have decided to be free riders and rely on everyone else’s herd immunity.”
“if CNN actually want to put crazy on the screen,… …they could just visit this blog.”

  2. UnMe – disguised as Antiq…..what made you a Doctor of Virology – or anything else?
Take Ivermectin, zithromyecin and zinc. Hospitals dont treat you. Not allowed by our Govt overlords as in the part time drama teacher, the W.H.O plant and the Graphic Designer Hadju.
If you want to follow their advice – go for it. No one would miss you.

    1. She was booted off Fox (Fox and Friends Weekend) about five or six years ago. Since the Murdoch soibois took over she’d likely be welcomed back with open arms.

  3. Herd immunity is now by government fiat, not science, except of course political science.

Actually, great journalism. Great first question, do any of you worry about getting covid? Statist science hesitancy unleashed.
Great cross section of the “vaccine hesitators” and presentation of data ready for every comeback, all of them the better informed.
Nurse in covid unit. Surgical technologist. DJ bar owner. Lady who got covid and now has seen the light of its political chicanery.
All ejecting media scientism. If it was a football game, they would have gotten a piling on penalty. That was some serious beatdown.

Award winning journalism that not only gives comprehensive coverage of this cogent issue for which the media – evidenced by Fauxi talking about hesitators causing another giant outbreak of young healthy people who don’t need the vaccine.

She stuck with it, and let them all give a good account, so good for her. I heard she was fired the same day.

  4. I decided to make a sport out of taunting the Covidians. I keep a mask in my pocket but deliberately forget to put it on when going into stores. If some Karen chooses to make an issue out of it, I humbly apologize for my ‘seniors moment’ and put it on. Then I half-ass it by letting my nose hang out. That will usually mean more scolding from Karen, and I apologize and pull it up. Finally, when I am paid up at the till , just about to leave… I take the mask off and smirk as Karen comes unglued.

Usually though… folks just ignore me and could care less. It’s all in fun. As for the vaccine though… no way. Anyone who injects anything into their body without knowing the long term effects is an idiot, and I won’t screw around with it. That’s serious business and the people pushing it can go pound sand.

    1. FR, “Anyone who injects anything into their body without knowing the long term effects is an idiot, ” Druggies do that all the time. Yeah, I know and agree they are also idiots, but my point is, there are more than enough “idiots” who will voluntarily do stupid things like injecting stuff, even “knowing” the long term effects. the terms “vaccine hesitant” and “vaccine resistant” really piss me off though. Why is it so abhorrent for anyone to desire to NOT have untested malignant liquids forced into their bodies.

There is much more in the dark shadows on this top down drive/push to get everyone vaccinated, than they are letting on. However, I’m sure you, and many on SDA are well aware of that.

I’m vaccine free, not hesitant or resistant, and proud of it!

  5. Fascinating to watch the anchor/interviewer’s body language and vocal tone change as things went on, as she went from “Aha! Here’s my brilliant rejoinder! I’ve got you now!” to “None of my lines are working.” And I am pretty confident some parts were edited.

One thing I think has made an impact in terms of the US overall hitting a wall when it comes to getting at least one dose into people, besides the stories about adverse side effects, is the quick reversal of the mask mandates that happened last month. First you’ve got POTUS et al saying you’re still going to need to wear a mask even if you’re fully vaccinated and then days later it’s announced, “Unmask, America! But only if you’re vaccinated, though. Honor system.” One day you need to wear one, the next you don’t because suddenly it’ll be OK not to.

And now large chunks of the US have the hodgepodge of mask or no mask; for example, I can go into a store sans mask because they ditched their mask requirement (and they don’t ask) and the store next door will say masks for all. Not to mention the people who have gotten the J&J or the two shot varieties but keep wearing masks anyway.

  6. I was assured, most firmly and with utter confidence, that there are no long term effects from these brand new vaccines.
It was in a polite social situation so I resisted my urge to ask to go for a ride in the person’s time machine.

It doesn’t matter what your opinions of the vaccines are, it is utterly illogical to state that there are no long term effects of a concoction that is this new.
