  1. Industrial “gaslighting”?

    Per H. L. Mencken:

“Men go mad in herds and recover their senses one by one”.

A bit hard to “recover” senses that were never there to begin with.

This is all starting to get a very weird SF horror story feel about it. “Qatermass and the Pit”, anyone?

  2. Don’t laugh too loud. Remember when “team-building” was a managerial fad (and probably still is)? I had to attend sessions like that while I was at Armpit College. Fortunately, I had the good sense to walk out before the “training” was finished.

  3. The woke looking desperately to black people for validation. Why don’t you love us after all we’ve done for you?

  4. I’m sorry….I’m not progressive at aII. If anyone tried that crap on me, I’d be punching some faces and kicking some teeth.

  5. I had to take “sensitivity training” when I was in uniform. I was kicked out every time I went on the course. I chaIIenged the “instructor” every time she said something I knew to be faIse; which was aImost every time she opened her mouth.

The power of “NO” has some impact; don’t underestimate it. When my superiors toId me that I had to keep going untiI I finished the course, I toId them to go ahead and charge me. I wouId not compIy with what I considered buIIshit. I Iet them know I wouId be troubIe.

I was never Ioaded on a course Iike that again.

    Refuse to compIy.

    1. Yup. I know what you’re talking about.

I endured crapola like what you described while I was taught at Armpit College and, yes, I got into trouble for speaking out. I not only got it from the institution because that “training” was for my own good, of course, but from my department head as well because he set up much of it and my defiance was taken as a personal insult. (The only reason he did that was to advance his career and hope that he’d be appointed dean some day.)

Ha…..I served too…1970’s, but that kind of woke idiocy was yet to come…thank god. We all got to wear the same uniform though..? (Unification – a 60’s kind of woke stupidity).

That Bshit started around the same time as the “new math” was being pedalled in grade school – coloured different sized sticks. & Pedalled by the same morons.

  6. In their efforts to break down innate racial barriers they seem to be promoting mixed race couples in things like soap ads. Often the images are flashed quickly, but It’s there — Just one more attempt to manipulate people subconsciously. What I also noticed is that the images are always combining Blacks and whites. They do not mix Blacks and Chinese Japanese. Wonder why not.

    1. When was the last time that one saw a mixed white/Asian couple in an ad?

      1. I saw a White man Asian woman couple with and mixed-race kid on a brochure at the Royal Bank yesterday while waiting endlessly in line to make a cash deposit and get some coins.

    2. I have noticed that it is primarily black men with white women not the other way around. What subliminal message are they attempting to send?

    3. LindaL, there is an ad running now with a Black and Asian Lesbian couple and one is disabled. Don’t ask me what is the product advertised; I hit the mute button each time.

Seems to me that push to “blackwash” caucasians from TV advertising has been ongoing for at least 50-60 years. If i Recall correctly, that started around the Late ’60’s early ’70’s..? Your CBC/CTV cabal at work….with the significant input from Pierres “MultiCult” garbage.

  7. I see quite a few white women with black males and their kids on my walks. Got to keep up with the times I guess. Still can’t figure out the names of blacks and wouldn’t have a clue how to pronounce them. Scary to see the video of George Floyd Square and listen to the gunfire in the background.

  8. Leastways, I’m glad I can follow directions provided by the proprietress of this site. The guffaw was needed.

  9. Why does “the Lincoln Project” keep crossing my mind.

  10. The best thing many of these folks could do to eliminate racism would be to look in the mirror for the major obstacle to that.
The war on climate, the war on poverty, the war on drugs, the war on racism. Same stupid shit, same typical terrible result.
To do so they need us fat and happy with government largesse feeding us, while the state plans a systemic dine and ditch.
Statists and “liberals” inevitably and inexorably progress to Marxism if we let them; and we are, big time, at ridiculous speed.

Their transactions of decline create in their minds a need for more government, financed by bottomless taxpayer wells like creating jobs, fighting poverty, climate change, now racism. Nothing to do with realities facing Canada, like debt, productivity, healthcare, pensions, power grabbing politicians, their most cynical seeking to divide us artificially, by race and class, whatever it takes.

Mencken is right, we come to our senses one at a time. With the coercive censors on patrol, that must be an overt act.

I don’t like our chances. We need bold visionary leadership, not wannabe rulers and oligarchs. Or worse still, feeble old men.

  11. A goofy group in our city has decided we have to be more diverse and inclusive. They are selling lawn signs to neighbourhoods telling folks that the area is welcoming to all, particularly blacks . new immigrants & refugees.
Woe betide the moron who puts one up in our ‘hood.

    1. “Hey, you funky-ass Negroes with your crazy jazz hands and your shuckin’ and jivin’ ways, we really love you! We know what’s best for you because you’re basically too dumb to decide that for yourselves, so just kick back with some fried chicken and Olde English 800 like we know you want to, and let us do the hard work of thinking! Hey, you’re welcome, and don’t forget to vote Democrat!”

      Paternalistic, low-expectation racist bastards.
