      1. Sorry but no. This virus is primarily spread through airborne aerosols. Hand hygiene will only play a minor role and it’s certainly not going to increase transmission by a factor of 5 to 10!
        These individuals must be congregating indoors and in larger numbers. And there are probably plenty of cases where there are several families living together in a single family dwelling.

      1. Vitamin D supplements are readily available. If people from certain cultures refuse to acknowledge their vulnerability and do something about it then we’re back to problem being culture. i.e. turd world.

      2. Actually, white people in winter climates don’t get nearly ent Vit.D without supplementation, either. But you’re right about dark skin preventing getting Vit. D from the sun.

        At least one study I saw revealed that the study subjects who died of Covid all had deficient Vit. D levels. That has a huge affect on the immune system. Vit. D also plays a giant role in preventing many cancers.

  5. A friend’s niece is a paramedic in Winnipeg. They have been to one particular house 14 times in the last few weeks to get Covid patients. There’s nothing to be done about people who live in crowded multi-family homes. It’s not like you can give them all separate houses. Hence the call to close the golf courses since we are now down to the high-cost, imperceptible-benefit options.

  8. People who have to work outside the home. White people are generally more wealthy, and therefore are teleworking. People in meat packing plants should have been first in line for vaccination, as they are high risk. New immigrants are more likely to car pool to work also.

    My L.A. relative watched lots of people outside the window doing very stupid stuff, while being personally responsible and careful during waves 1 and 2. Walking in groups, spitting, ignoring guidelines for social distancing etc. Guess what? They got sick.

    Also, how come A blood type reports have been buried? Most people in China are B, but North American Blackfeet are A.

    1. You do not need a test, just eat foods with D and C and proteins with zinc, and go out when it is sunny, 15 minutes per day.

      Is this hard to do? Vitamin research is easy to find on your Internet. You can go to your pharmacy and buy supplements too.

Vitamin D requirements vary throughout the population – some people need 10,000 IU per day (generally speaking darker complexions seem to need more not less) and some need as little as 3,000 IU. The only reliable guide is what your nmol/L level of 25-Hydroxy-Vitamin D in blood work. And don’t forget Vitamin K2-MK7 and magnesium levels affect your absorption and utilization.

        2. Magnesium is somewhat of a miracle supplement to those who suffer from serious leg cramps. Used to ingest tablespoons of mustard when they would occur and that would give almost immediate relief. But magnesium prevents them from happening in the first place, mustard does not.

    1. That would make as much sense as some of the other lockdown rules. Clearly the government needs to expose many more white people to the virus to even out those statistics.

  16. Very well said. The only additional comment I would make is that many ingredients in conventional sunscreens are toxic and possibly causing the cancer they’re supposed to be preventing. Titanium and zinc oxide sunscreens are preferred.

    The study, published by Dermato-Endocrinology examines the devastating medical and financial toll Canadians suffer because they don’t get enough vitamin D.

    “This research really should act as a wake-up call for policy-makers in Canada,” said study co-author Dr. William Grant, a researcher with the Sunlight, Nutrition and Health Research Center in San Francisco, CA. “Thousands of lives and billions of dollars could be saved by bringing in policy changes that promote messaging around safe sun exposure, vitamin D supplement use and eating foods fortified with vitamin D.”

    Researchers determined Canadian vitamin D levels have actually been dropping since the last time a similar study was carried out in 2010, putting more people at risk of life-threatening illnesses.

    Vitamin D levels in the blood are measured in nanomoles per litre (nmol/L) using what’s called the 25-hydroxy vitamin D blood test (25 (OH)D). In Canada, doctor lab tests consider the normal range to be between 75 to 150 nmol/L or higher in some provinces. The study determined Canadians have a mean level of vitamin D which measures 61 nmol/L. That represents a drop from a level of 67 nmol/L in 2010. Health Canada’s guidelines recommend maintaining vitamin D levels of at least 50 nmol/L.”

  19. Whites are predominantly those seniors in long term care, where members of the “over represented” groups are often employed.

    2. Bingo. And said workers aren’t on permanent full time salary so the care home doesn’t have to provide additional employment benefits. So they work at two or 3 different care centers, pick up a few more part time hours handling fresh produce at the grocery store or cooking at the daycare. Chances are this worker has a husband who also works multiple part time jobs with lots of contact with the general public. And many of these part time working couples cohabit with 2, 3 or more other families under the same roof.

  32. I think the lede was buried on this data. What struck me is that Chinese infections are at the very bottom of the list. It’s almost as if the virus was designed to infect people that aren’t Chinese.

    1. That’s part of the equation, isn’t it? We have a virus that kills Chinese the least and kills south Asians the most… and who does China currently have most immediate problems with? Right wouldn’t it be the same India that is most decimated by Wuhan Flu?

      John Ringo (a Sci-fi author not the cowboy) explored this idea in Troy rising series. The new alien would be overloads designed a virus to clean up hum race from undesirables who could not be counted on being productive after conquest. Same virus for all, however proper hygienic procedures mitigated its effects and neutralized it while neglect and poor hygiene lead to death.
