    But you know they are private companies and it is perfectly fine for Bezos to destroy Parler.

    1. Someone clearly forgot how things were done in the early days. Companies competed for contracts to develop and build various boosters and payloads and were often awarded on the basis of cost or related experience.

      More recently, three companies competed for funding to build commercial manned spacecraft: SpaceX (Dragon), Boeing (Starliner), and Sierra Nevada (Dream Chaser). SpaceX and Boeing won, partly because during a Dream Chaser landing test, the nose gear failed. It appears that SN will go ahead and develop a manned DC but using its own money.

      Blue Origin and Dynetics are simply sore losers.

      My wife got my hooked on horse racing several years ago after watching the Kentucky Derby, The Preakness, and the Belmont. Went to Woodbine track in Toronto a couple of years ago and was fascinated by the subculture. I don’t see thoroughbred racing disappearing though. Although, after the past 16 months, who the F can predict anything?

    1. I stopped watching when he started talking about vaccines. Ivermectin is an anti viral treatment not a vaccine. No wonder we don’t use it in Canada. So far as I know.
