Makary criticised “the most slow, reactionary, political CDC in American history” for not clearly communicating the scientific facts about natural immunity compared to the kind of immunity developed through vaccines.
Dr. Marty Makary made the comments during a recent interview, noting that “natural immunity works” and it is wrong to vilify those who don’t want the vaccine because they have already recovered from the virus.
I remember when President Ford was talking up the Swine Flu vaccine and telling everybody to get it. But I don’t remember any vilification, hysteria and fanatical zeal such as we see today.

I suspect a large proportion of the population were immune even from the very start due to previous exposure to similar corona viruses. I have never understand (well, that’s a rhetorical flourish) why governments adopted policies to prevent herd immunity – lockdowns, masks, distancing – even if they were useless – and prevented any possible effective treatments.

I haven’t been sick enough to seek medical help since 1974, and I am completely willing to listen to health advice from everyone with a better record. I have 2 answers to those who question my vaccine status, generally it is none of anyone’s business , specifically it’s none of theirs.
I got the CCP/PLA virus in October 2020. I was 73 at the time and it hit me fairly hard. My wife and I got through it so
we see no reason to get any of the vaccines. I have read that in prior SARS type viruses that infected people have antibodies up to 17 years after. Why do we need a vaccine?
We have vacationed in Banff and Jasper NP every year for 30 years except last year and this year, but if Trudeau requires a vaccine passport, sorry to say I will not go. I see that 75% of Canadians don’t want unvaccinated Americans but nothing about herd immunity if you already got the disease. Trudeau is anti-science but you knew that already. May he have a heart attack soon.
Mr Galt lll, I’m not sure if Trudeau is anti science or not, don’t really care either. However, you need to understand that the entirety of Canada and for that matter, the western world revolves around him. I don’t know, but I would bet he even refers to his reflection in the mirror as “his eminence” every time he glances whimsically at his glowing radiance!
Unfortunately, colonials like you and I, are blissfully unaware how fortunate we are to have such a cool dude grace us with his existence. have you not noticed how we all swoon in adoration whenever he appears? As to the possibility of a heart attack, I don’t think angels have health problems, but I don’t know for sure.
