I was filling up my car with gas on the weekend and a woman pulled up to the pump behind me. She was unmasked in her vehicle, as was her passenger. BUT, as soon as she stepped outside she donned a mask. After she pumped her gas, she got back in her SUV and immediately slathered herself in sanitizer. Then she took off her mask and drove off.

I took my son to a specialist appointment the other day. I parked in front of the entrance and had a good view of who came and went. One woman approached the entrance while rubbing her hands together (she had obviously just applied hand sanitizer). She went in the front door and entered a small vestibule which had a hand sanitizer machine–she took some and started rubbing her hands together again. She entered the reception area of the office and approached the front desk. There was another hand sanitizer dispenser at the front desk. She took some more hand sanitizer and rubbed her hands together again. The receptionist asked her to wait in the vestibule. She re-entered it and took another hit of sanitizer. Within a couple of minutes they called her for her appointment and she took another shot of hand sanitizer. So within a couple of minutes she had sanitized her hands five times. The specialist she was going to see was a dermatoligist.
And, she will be the one who contracts it. Actual real life incident. A neighbour who religiously did all the rituals ended up catching it.
If course, my suggestions that she was ripe with comorbidities to catch it to begin with were growled at.
