    2. Well, great minds think alike. My husband asked what I wanted for Mothers Day ( even though I am not his mother) and I mentioned giving a donation to Ezra. So that is what we will do. He is not a fan, but agrees with me that you cannot have a democracy without a free press. Canadians are losing their freedom step by step, and m9dt seem quite complacent about it.

    Only message missing was the fact we are going thru all this for an illness that has a 99% recovery rate.

    1. I think she reflects the attitude of her generation. She is younger than Ezra and Frei and the education system has managed to influence her despite her parents efforts. Ezra and Frei and Dave have seen too much to fall for the “jab” propaganda.
      My co-worker has many concerns about the jab but her family is putting her under enormous pressure to get it, so she’s going on May 14 to forever compromise her immune system. Several other people at my company have had it and I’m concerned that they may try to require it as a condition of continued employment.

    2. Of course, for a country the size of Canada, a recovery rate of 99% implies 370,000 deaths. Even a fatality rate one-tenth of that puts the toll in the same ballpark as the number of Canadians who died in WWII.

      1. Your number is making the assumption that everyone in the country gets it. Even with false positives in my country there have been about 13,000 “cases” out of a million people.

        You seem to think that because “99.5% is really, really close to 100%”, that this whole COVID thing is no big deal. Yet even your own assumptions about CFRs/IFRs would suggest otherwise.

        1. Your assuming everyone is going to get it. In my region of a million people, there have been about 13,000 cases and about 325 deaths, over the course of the year. 2/3 of the deaths have been people over the age of 80 who are nursing home residents. Probably within the range of the normal for the annual die off.

Note, that even though the thugs knew minutes after arriving that she is the wrong person, they still kept all the occupants terrorized for hours, vandalized their house and then robbed them of their property.
      Because they can.

      They are never held accountable or punished.

Seems “Legal System” actually means “Thugs in action.” I Don’t consider it a victory if one of the thugs gets caught up in the “Legal system.” Just like I don’t care if some go-fund-me saves Pastor Coates, he should be recruiting troops, not dollars, as troops not dollars are the only thing that will work. Actual justice where the perps get actual punishment. Getting the pastor outta jail is meaningless, but cute. Making the thugs who assaulted him experience justice is justice. Chauvin was guilty of many things, killing Floyd wasn’t one of them. Stick that up yer keyster, Ayn Rand!

    They are all too optimistic.
    Power Hungry children will never voluntarily release their grip.
    The children’s Crusade got elected and received endless praise from their media bootlickers,through their first reign of ruin..
    Now after 14 months of Dread Covid Theatre,with most all of the so-called Opposition cheering along as these fools have raped every illusion of rights and freedoms we ever had,these nitwits are drunk with their perceived power.

    There is no “return to normal” because these creatures never did know what their responsibilities are.
    Drunk on the praise of their fellow incompetents,proudly displaying their delusion of Adequacy self awards they are here to help us,forever and ever..
    Until we cure their delusion.

    Some fools are too stupid to leave loose amongst us.
