I enjoyed watching a series on Netflix, ‘RITA’.
She’s a ‘rebel’ Danish teacher trying to fix children that they’re parents fucked up by this ‘woke’ society that were turning them into whatever the parents concern narrative is at the time.
One teacher got rightly punched in the face trying to push his kid into higher education which the parent didn’t want as the young teacher tried to be a buddy with the parent.
Another episode, the kids went on strike for a carbon neutral school by a student and they changed that narrative with cocoa and hot donut as they got cold.
When is a lie not a lie? Well, we have seen evidence of lies an a daily basis from out governments, we should all know by now.
In related news, the Toronto Board of Education has set up a committee to rename schools in the diverse city to reflect the diverse culture. Schools named after white racist bastards from Canada’s past are no longer appropriate. The city can look forward to George Floyd High School or Muhammad Primary School.
The trouble with this is that you won’t be able to tell the schools apart when they are all named shit hole.
Evil. School boards, trustees, etc. Should all be eliminated. Local school board elections don’t get the attention they deserve, or exposure would be a better word. They’re cabals of leftists.

When I questioned the curriculum ..
A principal told me that they (the teachers) were co-parents our child. I told them that happens when they start paying her expenses and stop being paid, then we would discuss that statement.
Years ago, I got the same BS from the high school my two kids were attending. They were about to subject the students to that Al Gore comedy “An Inconvenient Truth”. I told the principal to shove it us his ass and that my kids will not be subjected to propaganda. He heard me loud and clear.

A long time ago a venal female elementary school principal told me that parents think they understand education because they once went to school. It became my template for understanding elite contempt, not that there was anything elite about her.
In Alberta, when the provincial gov’t introduced a new K-12 curriculum, the teachers and their unions went nuts. Unlike the curricula that had been in use for a number of years on the slide into leftism, the new one re-introduced the basics. Far from the woke ideals, i.e. (book) reading, (cursive) writing and arithmetic without a calculator were to be re-introduced. It was deemed important that not only the right answer be achieved, but HOW that answer was realized. And history. Real history. Apparently, the left just wants regurgitation of the “facts” as presented. Can you say, “indoctrination”? No thinking required. I do hope the province doesn’t cave on this.
This is what happens when people come to believe that instead of having children and raising them right, you can depend on a government pension or the capital gains on your ugly McMansion (because, of course, house prices will keep rising faster than wages forever) to pay your way in your old age.
Sadly, only a minority of parents still pay any attention to what their kids are being taught to think, much less the things that the kids are NOT being taught that they actually need to know.
If children aren’t being taught how to make correct change, they sure won’t be able to understand how the global financial system works.

Inadequate methods and curricula, inattentive and agenda-driven teachers, poor test and work scores – it all sends a message to any parent paying attention. Alternative schooling is needed. Home-schooling, charter schools – whatever. Put one’s kids there. Make the public system bleed.
