West Lethbridge for example, the UPC and Wildrose made up over 60% of the vote. But Shannon Phillips, thanks to the UL leftists, got in with less than 40%.

You have identified our greatest impediment. We do not have a leader or party to coalesce around. My hope is that after Le Dauphin wins a majority, Michelle Rempel and her colleagues will say enough is enough, resign from the CPC, and start a movement.
A possible alternative is that Kenney will get tossed by his caucus (or membership) and we will have a leadership race. I was for Brian Jean last time and I think, though I could be completely wrong, that he would actually stand up for Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and the West. (Not just tweet about it)

That was the last straw for me!!! My riding normally goes for Hedy Fry, so I am mostly likely now to vote PPC. Erin O’Toole is selling out the CPC and I never voted for him. It started with his enthusiasm for the Paris Accord, but many other moves have been awful, especially demoting Pierre Poilievre. Derek Sloan can be annoying, but should not have been black-balled.
Peter Mackay, although too red for my taste, would, at least, have been get rid of Trudeau and would have known how to build a team. Erin seems to just be alienating people in the Party and the press knows and tells. Completely unworkable.
All Erin has achieved is another, now likely, majority Trudeau term.
He’d better step down on election night at least. What a piece of garbage. There’s zero chance I’m voting conservative with him as leader. I prefer incompetent liberals. They’ll probably lose seats in Alberta at this point.
Scheer is my MP, we have mutual friends and have met each other socially. Because of his policies or lack thereof, I voted PPC last election.

Tell me, again, why we have vaccination capacity here in Ontario @ 4.8 million shots per month (on that basis we’re looking at 6 or 7 months to mass vaccination), and we’re looking at 1.4 million shots per month actual delivery? I have written before that the people who run the Tories hold their voters beneath contempt. They would prefer a different class of voters and are working to get them (i.e. their friends and peers) to vote Tory. The big brains at CPC HQ their own voters like crap because they believe those voters have nowhere else to go. The only new thing is now they’ve completely stopped listening at all to western conservatives and are, in fact, now blaming them for the party’s problems.
This is exactly how we got the Reform Party nationally and the Wildrose Party in Alberta and both are going to happen again.

Canada is done. The goose is not only cooked, it’s a smouldering black lump! I’m tired, sick and tired. I will no longer bother to waste my vote, that happens without me even getting out of my armchair. From now on, I’ll look to survival of myself and those I cherish. The rest has all gone to shit, so why bother. To believe there is still any possibility of a future anywhere in north America is a fools dream. Politically, and all that is connected and follows from that, is beyond salvation. I’m done!
