How are we going to shrink the tent today Erin?

Like we do everyday! By alienating the base and sucking up to everyone who hates us.

From Spencer Fernando

In what appears to be yet another rhetorical reversal by Erin O’Toole, the Conservative leader has shifted from criticizing the Liberals for focusing on foreign aid, to now criticizing them for not spending enough.

    1. If you live west of Manitoba seek out and vote MAVERICK PARTY. No more CPC/NDP/LIB etc. Flush the Turds

    2. It makes absolutely no sense. Reducing/halting giving money away to foreign despots while we have unemployment and a deficit would be an easy sell to Canadians. He maybe at least be asked for an explanation.

Perhaps he wants to curry favor with those who are recipients and pipelines of this largesse. Often it’s a question of what goes around as foreign aid comes around as projects involving Canadian engineering firms. He is of course wasting his time, these places are bedrock Liberal.

      1. The moron wants to lose a Liberal riding in Brampladesh by less than the last CPC candidate as if that is a victory?? Trudeau will win a majority in the next election, what is so funny to me and should be so terrifying to most Canadians is that it will be the last election you will see. Whether it’s Covid, or the climate or whatever, there will be an emergency which “necessitates” a continuation of the present government indefinitely. Canadians will love it, one more responsibility taken off their narrow shoulders. Anyone who even thinks of resisting will be reported by their neighbours or family to the the Staz…er RCMP.

  1. Is there where we say that a vote for the PPC is a wasted vote? Surely that isn’t a thing anymore because I can’t imagine voting for this O’Foole

  2. hvb, if enough had abandoned to CPC in the 2019 election ,they may have learned to get a real leader. Scheep and O’Stool are liberal picks, and not even real conservatives.

There are those who think Mad Max was a factor in the 2019 election race, he was not, cuck incompetence was the only factor!

    1. The PPC got my vote last time due to Scheer, and the CPC has only got worse since then.

    2. I are a card carrying member, and donor, to the Tory party. This time around I will be voting Maverick or Max.

  3. Listen Spencer, you and your friends at The Post Millenial were all in for Erin – boo hoo, you reap what you sow.

    ‘Coulda had Pete.

      1. I might actually be in agreement with the most disagreeable poster here; just this once. At least MacKay was honest in his positions.

      2. I was kind of surprised that I, an old white man, would find Lewis by far the most conservative, principled, and human person in the race (I voted for her). Mackay is just another refurbished CINO. Sloan reminded me too much of Cassius. And Erin O’Toole (who I recently discovered is a *man*) was faceless, valueless, and pointless.

  4. why did the progressive conservatives end up challenging the liberals, instead of the reform party,

  5. Derek Sloan was the ticket…I will still vote for the CPC, the least smelly turd I guess…maybe O’Stool will show some Conservatism once in power while shying away from the MSM because he will never be a Trump that’s fer chur. Not even close to being a Harper.

    1. I am with you on that. It is the sane choice, although I may end up voting Rinos.

I think it is not too late to have Sample O’Stool Patrick Browned but who ever is on the ticket will not matter in my vote. Anyone but Libranos, … which will probably be Conservatives… unless O’Stool fails so completely that the election will be forgone a conclusion and then I will vote Rinos.

        1. Anyone-I mean any sane conservative would vote for a real conservative party like the PPC. Not a fake conservative & pro-globalist party which panders gimmicks to suckers.

          1. Yes we are aware of your limitations, you demonstrate them, with a zeal of a Komsomol agitator, every time you hammer the same stupid points.

    2. Derek Sloan was the ticket to losing official opposition status. There is no future with trolls like him.

  6. Otool could claim the commie manifesto as the CPC platform and cuckservatives would still vote for him, just like they did for Scheer.

God I hope enough Albertans manage to scrape up the nerve to kiss confederation goodbye. What a sewer canada has become!

  7. Johnboy and Chrisinthe Bridge – As a fellow Albertan – I am with you. Where is the referendum Carpetbagger Kenney promised us on equalization, fair representation??
Who is going to lead the charge to get Alberta out of this sinking, stinking ship? Too many parties Wexit, Maverick, Wild Rose. I have e- mailed them all and suggested consolidating into one forceful, party. I got zero reply from any of them. So where is our hope there?

    1. Yes, Wretched Knothead is rubbing her hands with glee. She hopes the alternative (real) conservative parties dilute the vote and lets her back in up the middle.
West Lethbridge for example, the UPC and Wildrose made up over 60% of the vote. But Shannon Phillips, thanks to the UL leftists, got in with less than 40%.

      1. Please do not remind me. I am in Lethbridge East but Shannon Phillips has to be one of the greatest embarrassments to ever come out of Lethbridge (Not quite eclipsing our police force)

The NDP were last elected by accident. If the current trend continues, the next time could be on purpose

        1. “Not quite eclipsing our police force”

You weren’t impressed by the high risk take-down of an Imperial Storm Trooper???

      2. Yes, Wretched Knothead is rubbing her hands with glee.

I don’t know about that. It seems the last two years in Alberta have been her second term. Jell-O Kreampuff has done SFA with respect to disinfecting the silly service of all of her leftover JBTs. Both of them are overjoyed at locking down the entire economy and he certainly is about as interested in separation as she is.

        Jell-O Kreampuff: Alberta’s Error O’Foole…..

    2. You have identified our greatest impediment. We do not have a leader or party to coalesce around. My hope is that after Le Dauphin wins a majority, Michelle Rempel and her colleagues will say enough is enough, resign from the CPC, and start a movement.

A possible alternative is that Kenney will get tossed by his caucus (or membership) and we will have a leadership race. I was for Brian Jean last time and I think, though I could be completely wrong, that he would actually stand up for Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and the West. (Not just tweet about it)

Apparently, legislation was introduced today or yesterday to have citizen initiated referendums. Perhaps something could gel.

As for me, I sure as hell am no Moses.

      1. Rempel no longer inspires confidence, she just postures when it’s convenient, then goes progressive when no one is looking.
I thought McKay was the real regressive libservative……I’ll admit to calling it wrong, o’Fool is terrible.

        1. As opposed to liberals who value killing the unborn, locking Canadians up without benefit of due process, putting Canadians in concentration camps and sending Jewish refugees back to Germany to die in the gas chambers. Then we can get into the Indian Act, money in brown paper bags, WE, SNCLavalin, I could go on and on.
We won’t even talk about the optics of supporting a blackface wearing PM who is also on record for sexually assaulting a young female reporter, or why he needed the top law firm in Canada to write a resignation letter when resigning from the oh so important job of substitute drama teacher! That in itself screams ” sexual predator alert, hide the children”, and couple that with a mid forties man shirtless in a cave with minor children not of his loins, and I have to wonder how the presstitutes managed not to barf when reporting it as Justin getting in touch with future voters. How many of JT’s friends have done time for crimes against children? Three is it? You know what they say about birds of a feather.
It also speaks volumes about the values of people who voted for him or continue to support him.
If liberal values are Canada’s values, the shame isn’t mine for not having them.

          1. So to be clear, you have no beliefs and only define yourselves by who you’re against and their imaginary sins against children.

  8. The process for establishing O’Toole’s talking points must be a focus group consisting of 50% CBC journalists and 50% twenty (something) year old, poly-sci grad interns who have never held down a job and still don’t. Let’s see, they drove out the libertarians with Max, drove out the socons with Sloan, penalized the parliamentary attack dog, Pierre, distanced themselves from independent conservative media and now, its time to drive out the fiscal conservatives with insane spending ideas. That leaves the mindless mushy middle and Red Tories let by a trans-Kim Campbell imitator.

    1. A perfect synopsis of every cack handed move made by the CPC HQ “braintrust” for the last handful of years.

I hope they get wiped out by Little Potato at this point. It seems like we’ll have to hit rock bottom and let another Turdoo bankrupt the country again before the “conservative” parties in this country get their sh*t together.

  9. And this, donations of taxpayer dollars to foreign nations, is the hill that you choose to stake your CPC flag and die on, Errant O’Toole? Pulling an Andrea Horwath?

    1. That was the last straw for me!!! My riding normally goes for Hedy Fry, so I am mostly likely now to vote PPC. Erin O’Toole is selling out the CPC and I never voted for him. It started with his enthusiasm for the Paris Accord, but many other moves have been awful, especially demoting Pierre Poilievre. Derek Sloan can be annoying, but should not have been black-balled.

Peter Mackay, although too red for my taste, would, at least, have been get rid of Trudeau and would have known how to build a team. Erin seems to just be alienating people in the Party and the press knows and tells. Completely unworkable.

All Erin has achieved is another, now likely, majority Trudeau term.

  10. He’d better step down on election night at least. What a piece of garbage. There’s zero chance I’m voting conservative with him as leader. I prefer incompetent liberals. They’ll probably lose seats in Alberta at this point.

  11. Scheer is my MP, we have mutual friends and have met each other socially. Because of his policies or lack thereof, I voted PPC last election.

This next election, which is hopefully sooner than later despite The Tool’s best efforts to avoid one, I’ll be voting for Maverick thanks to the CPC’S continual slide to the left.

Fuck Canada and the failed Liberal social experiment that it is.

    1. I truly wish you were wrong…but you are right.

I again call out to Watcher to give us the scoop on what is going on and help us point our resources in the right direction

    2. I am big on the PPC and will vote for them again. However. If I see same expected results (Libs majority or another minority win while CPC poseurs get 100 seats) I quit Canada. I will stand against Canada at every breathing second of my life. This country is at a decision point; shithole or nation.

  12. They’re so desperate for liberal love I imagine they are thinking about faking up a couple of blackface photos.

    1. At this point there really isn’t. All three parties agree on pretty much everything. Pathetic and I’m really pissed about it. Bring back Harper you stupid pieces of crap. So sick of this bs. I used to campaign and donate but no way in hell.

      1. Harper lost. He ran the worst campaign in history and got Trudeau elected. Bringing him back would be total and absolute admission of bankruptcy.

        1. UnMe, I dont think I’ve ever agreed with you on anything. Until now. Yes, the Harper campaign was probably the worst, most inept campaign I have seen in more than 60 years.

          1. Welp thankfully oh tool is about to wipe your memory of that. There’s going to be an orange surge in Alberta.

  13. What an absolute f’ing disgrace Canadian politics has become – five brands of socialism to pick from.

I’ll be going with PPC again. The ONLY alternative to all this shit.

  14. Otoole was not my choice for leader, I was tossed between McKay and Lewis.
I hope McKay comes back, and Lewis wins her seat.
We need to defeat this govt in the next election, we need to come together and support the new leader in order to do this. Not be devisive no matter how much you can’t stand otoole. Liberals watch for weakness in its opponents and they use it to their advantage.
Trudeau keeps saying no election, but if he and his war room see a divided conservative party they will manufacture a reason to be defeated in the house.
Now that the vaccines have started I predict June he will go to whoever gg is ask for dissolve.

    1. Hell no. This guy has specifically said there’s no place for conservatism in the CPC. He probably votes liberal and hopes Justin will be friends with him one day. Unreal.

    2. Oh Christ. The CPC is as united as ever and is only weaker for it. Unite the Right was a mistake and no I am not voting O’Toole or Bernier FTS.

  15. So, that’s all you got? Really?

What I heard was that Trudeau consistently over-promises and under-delivers.

Tell me, again, why we have vaccination capacity here in Ontario @ 4.8 million shots per month (on that basis we’re looking at 6 or 7 months to mass vaccination), and we’re looking at 1.4 million shots per month actual delivery? And the Liberals are begging Dementia Joe (everybody knows it) to release excess doses to other countries? Why would that be, exactly? (Hint: Trudeau can’t deliver).

But Erin O’Toole is the actual problem. Really?

As it happens, I got an email today from Max Bernier inviting my deceased mother (passed away May 27, 2019, aged 89) to be a PPC candidate.

But Erin O’Toole is the actual problem. Really?

So, on the basis of this information, I’m going to say that I am not persuaded. We live in dark and dangerous times, and all must make their own decisions, but I am not prepared to countenance another Trudeau fiasco, however that works out.

    1. Yes, O’Toole is very much the problem your weak attempts at diversion aside. He’s probably already lost the next election.

Actually, scratch that first sentence. Conservatism is very much the problem.

  16. Good. Max just got a few more supporters.
Now ask O’Toole about the carbon tax and we’ll get a few more.

  17. Look on the bright side.
OToole may finally leave the the west with only one option.
And no it’s not voting for the CPC.

  18. It’s St Patty’s Day so I’ll quote Irish author Frank McCourt: “I wouldn’t give him the steam of my piss.”

  19. HEY! Oz, all the rest of you excrement eating morons; can you explain to me, one more time, how this is all Bernier’s fault please?

    Thanks.

And please, tell me again how this O’Foole character is “our best chance of defeating Trudeau”?

    Thanks.

I think you can out do all the previous idiocy of your entire live’s with a good enough reply. You can do it, I have faith! You can beat UnMe to the top of idiot mountain!

    1. “You can do it, I have faith! You can beat UnMe to the top of idiot mountain!”

Stop selling yourself short Field Marshal Windbag. You don’t need others to beat UnMe for you, you can do it yourself… and with him behind you, the Idiot Mountain can become a Brokeback Mountain.

    2. “HEY! Oz, all the rest of you excrement eating morons; can you explain to me, one more time, how this is all Bernier’s fault please?”

Sorry, I’m all out of crayons. It isn’t Maxime’s fault though, it’s the fault of the stooges who threw their votes away on him.
Maxime lost his cult’s only seat. When is the leadership convention? Oh right, it’s a cult, no change in leadership will occur.

  20. There’s not much difference between O’Toole and S**t-for-brains except Trudeau has hair.

  21. Remember that saying, don’t interrupt your enemy when they are screwing up!

Other CPCs are just quietly standing aside, quietly disgruntled at the shitshow revealing itself, but not making a spectacle of themselves either.

Polievere is the future leader. Why he didn’t run this past time is a mystery.

In this region, Victoria, its Commie greenie central. So this time, PPC it is. And maybe next.

Moderation Kate? Really? Are we now going all FB and Twatter? Sheesh!

  22. Yup!! We’re all going to do like we did at the last election. Walk up to the little cardboard box, but our X beside some unknow candidate from the ”Wayward Losers of Canada.” Then we’ll go out and buy a 12 pack of Bud, six bags of ripple chips, and watch our favorite candidate end up with a total of 345 votes in all of our riding.. Then, for another four years, we’ll watch the Liberals fuck things up even worse than they did the last time.

Great thinking guys!! Maxime must be proud of you!!

    1. Oh stop trying to reason with true believers. They’re impervious to logic and they are always ready to purge anyone who does not pass their purity test.

    2. 4 more years?? Not going to happen, this is the last election if Trudeau wins a majority. Read a few books. Plus ca change

  23. Does becoming leader of CPC mean you have to cut your balls off?
Who is calling the shots there?
    They should be:
    – denying CBC credentials
    – telling the rest they are next
    – railing against the carbon tax
    – railing against the gun grab
    – pushing pipelines and energy independence

But then again, if they were would we even know about it??
    Think about that.
We are being lied to every minute of every day.
    COVID.
    Climate Crisis.
Cases cases cases deaths deaths deaths
    Vaccines (for what a flu?)
Not a lot of people are paying attention, that’s their gambit.

  24. Old Irish Ballad

    There was a wee mousie
    Name Pinky NO’Tool
    Who presented himself
    As the Saviour of fools

    He squeaked and he scampered
    As all mousies do
    And he even out-moused
    turdo la doo

  25. I have written before that the people who run the Tories hold their voters beneath contempt. They would prefer a different class of voters and are working to get them (i.e. their friends and peers) to vote Tory. The big brains at CPC HQ their own voters like crap because they believe those voters have nowhere else to go. The only new thing is now they’ve completely stopped listening at all to western conservatives and are, in fact, now blaming them for the party’s problems.
This is exactly how we got the Reform Party nationally and the Wildrose Party in Alberta and both are going to happen again.

  26. I voted to oust Goodale. Now we don’t have a pig at the trough and are losing our airport.

    1. Don’t worry about it, you can’t fly anywhere anyway, after the next election it will be a carbon thing, no more travel allowed.

  27. Hell, if I were a tool, I’d throw caution to the wind, and run on spending even more money than Trudeau. I’d point to the US and EU and their “MMT” and say what choice do we, as a very small nation, have in the face of that? So I’d promise dental care, and child care, and UBI, and all kinds of other stuff.

Then, get in, and pull a Margaret Thatcher. (Anyone remember her?) Elected on May 4, she had a cabinet and a government and a budget by June 12, not the leisurely 9 months of Joe Clark, and the almost two years now of Little Lord Fauntelroy. Renege on every single spending promise (who has that ever hurt before?) because “well, now we can see the real books”, use the Notwithstanding clause to ram Energy East through, ditto to remove all provincial trade barriers, open up the telco, airline, and banking markets, and then see what happens. I’d bet he wins reelection in a landslide.

  28. Canada is done. The goose is not only cooked, it’s a smouldering black lump! I’m tired, sick and tired. I will no longer bother to waste my vote, that happens without me even getting out of my armchair. From now on, I’ll look to survival of myself and those I cherish. The rest has all gone to shit, so why bother. To believe there is still any possibility of a future anywhere in north America is a fools dream. Politically, and all that is connected and follows from that, is beyond salvation. I’m done!

  29. Vapid. There should be a picture of Erin O’Toole in the dictionary next to that word.
