It was brutal… the most traumatic thing I have ever experienced.
A student at the University of Minnesota encounters the police.
Be sure to watch the video.

Flagrant misrepresentation and flat out lying in the pursuit of woke cachet, faux victimhood and a progressive agenda: plainly a journalism major in the making. CNN: sign him up. If for the rest of my days this could be the most traumatic thing I ever experience, it will be a life of Elysian bliss.
The man needs to be doxxed, there should have an online photo database of people who make false accusations. Call it “America’s Least Wanted” or what have ye.
Black Liars Man!
BLM
I’d hate to be in that police officer’s shoes – it’s bad enough that he’s a racist and a white supremacist and an oppressive member of the hegemonic colonialist patriarchy, but now he’s disputing the lived experience of a black man? Look, if the man says it was terrifying and traumatizing and brutalizing and de-humanizing, it was terrifying and traumatizing and brutalizing and de-humanizing *to him* and now you’re raping him all over again by denying the reality of his feelings. How dare you!
Notta Canadian – “but now he’s disputing the lived experience of a black man?” Does he self identify as black?? The video and the transcript clearly state he “It’s a white male, dark hoodie,…”.
How could the police be racial profiling?? Even the Wokettes say you cannot self identify as another race (unless you’re Michael Jackson).
Free Derek Chauvin.
“sorry to bother you man, you’re good , you’re good to go”
Trauma..?? Moron does not know the meaning of the word. Enrolled in Women’s studies or some other such barista training.
No mention on whether he soiled his pants, due to this “tragic devastating” encounter…
Lol! BA = Barista Applicant!
Watched the whole thing. Was waiting for something to happen. Dr D is right this turkey should be on CNN Crap Not News.
I shamelessly bowered this (Crap Not News) from someone on CFP.
Raymond Shaw is the kindest, bravest, warmest, most wonderful human being I’ve ever known in my life.
I know that when I’ve just encountered “the most traumatic thing I have ever experienced” when dealing with the MEAN cops I ask for a ride home after.
De-fund university police and security departments? That’s a great idea.
It should happen immediately and be well advertised.
Give the woke what they want good and hard.
This video shows a perfectly reasonable and pleasant interaction between the cops & some guy. However, what if it’s not with the actual guy who made the (twitter) complaint? It’s basically audio only, as the video part only shows the view from the cop car – no video of the complainant. I want to believe the cops didn’t just sort through their videos from that night and pick a nice one. I hate to be cynical, and am channeling Scott Adams a bit here (don’t trust everything you see on video).
White University Student needs all his Social Justice Victim credit he can appropriate just to survive.
I wuz oppressed by The Man too!
Except it won’t do any good when the Social Justice Mafia go after his privileged white cis-male ass. When the mob comes after you, there is no self flagellation that will placate the mob. The mob demands its blood!
A white Jussie Smallett wannabe … who ever imagined THAT would be a thing?
PS … Blue cities with leftist residents like these are to be avoided at all cost. I know … I’m planning to leave my own boyhood home town which has turned from solid RED to solid BLUE in my lifetime. How do I know? We’ve had multiple FAKE hate crimes committed including “Trump” and a swastika spray painted on a raging leftists garage door. The local NextDoor App is filled with mask Nazis (speaking of swastikas). And the city has been exploring ways to permanently BAN a local group of Trump supporters who fly American flags and ‘Trump’ signs from a local overpass. Yes … my city council are exploring ways to BAN conservative Free Speech. Ban Trump supporters constitutional rights, and use the local police to do so. Where’s the OUTRAGE over this brutal use of police to intimidate free speech? Ohhhh … supporting Trump is “Hate Speech” … right?

Yeah, sounds ridiculously one sided and open shut absolutely proven by the video to be a cringe inducing hoax by some pathetic mental deficient loser.
All your Liberal friends will argue with you the opposite.
Every single one of them.
Try arguing anything with them
Anything., any topic.
They’ll also bring up Trump into the conversation within 5 minutes.
..and thinking about Smolliet remember Chappelle’s bit on that

Guess this immature university “student” never had his Mother slap him up the side of the head for being a brat! Never too late! .
He is going to be a great benefit to society, (sarc)
I had to deal with twits like that during my time as a post-secondary educator. Rather than the administrators telling them to grow up, I was the one who had to kowtow to the demands of the kiddies…. to create a “safe” learning environment, of course.
BA – obviously you never encountered our family. Back in the day, when the offsprings complained about their teachers, I said there were two rules:
Rule #1 – you will like and respect your teacher and do your best for him or her; and,
Rule #2 – if you neither like nor respect your teacher, rule #1 still applies.
That being said, there were times when I had to intervene on behalf of the offsprings, though I made it very clear that, should they have been found to have embilished their side of the story, there would be dire consequences. I still managed to gain my “MAB” (mother a bitch) with epaulettes because I expected the same high standard from our offsprings’ teachers as my father and his contemporaries had exhibited, and was willing to call them on it.
Need I say that all our offsprings graduated from high school and went on to further education, from which they all graduated and are doing very well in their respective careers. Being an older and cranky parent has its advantages.
Reminds me of the chap aeons ago who rang our emergency number to complain that Police with lights and sirens on had pulled his vehicle over, but then went right past him and vanished in the distance! It took me a moment to fully grasp the cause of his outrage at this injustice; and another few minutes of patient arguing to explain that they were en route to an actual emergency (which I’d sent them to), and had only wanted him to get out of their way… He eventually hung up, still muttering imprecations…
