  1. Snowden is one of the heroes of the early 21st century. Stossel has been going strong for years.

  2. Re: I’m the Slime.

A great rock tune, it was the first one I ever memorized and can still recite it today. Used to regularly sing it as a kid in the 70’s while mowing neighborhood lawns/orchards and those lyrics were at least in some part responsible for my early skepticism of ‘the establishment’. RIP Frank Zappa.

  3. A huge disappointment from Trump. Instead of pardoning an assortment of slimy crooks, he should have pardoned Assange and Snowden.

  4. For anyone who is experimenting with “App” creation.
A Slime O meter for your TV.
Based along the old joke of translating government bureaucratize into plain english.
We need one that translates” the narrative”into slime bots.

    Frank is immortal.
The Slime and Flakes are perfect descriptions of today.
As for pardoning Snowden,I hope the Swamp holds a trial.
I will donate to Snowden’s defence as I expect millions will also.
For a trial will blow the lid right off of the International Year of Lies.

Since Snowden went public, everything he told us has been confirmed.
We have a rouge state, trampling every principle it was created to defend.
Trump brought it out into the light.
The November 3rd Election Fiasco ,proved the Ballot Box option has been compromised.
Trying Snowden in a US court could be one of the final straws.

Treason they said, when Snowden claimed the FISA Courts were corrupted and that private intelligence companies were doing end runs through the data.
Also that he,was a Russian asset lying to cause chaos..
    Now?
    Truth.
Tough state of affairs when an Young Man in exile is more credible than “17 Intelligence agencies”

Of course I predict there will be no trial, because those “Private Intelligence Contractors” will open a door none of the Swamp Creatures want us to see through.

They are using the NSA to spy on everyone.
    No longer a “conspiracy theory”.
For paranoid psychopaths cannot help themselves,if there is a way they will abuse it.
Just as the 5 Is were used to harrass and spy on Trump

  5. Because I attended public high school in an upper, upper, middle class community where literally 97% of our (100% graduation rate) graduates went to college … I was offered a Junior Elective course called “Mass Media” in 1973. In the course, we studied all the techniques used to sway public opinion and sell you things you don’t need and, prior to the advertisement, didn’t want. It was essentially a high school course in Zappa’s Slime song.

Perhaps because of this, or by birth and personality … I am a congenital skeptic. OK … call me a cynic. But I am NOT cynical. Big difference. I consider myself mostly immune to the buzzers, lights, and whistles launched against me daily (my inbox overflows with them).

But … what I never expected from my (proud to be an American) upbringing and education, is how MY GOVERNMENT would SPY on me. Spy on a law-abiding (except certain fwy speed limits) American citizen. And use their high tech leftist partners to establish a universal Stassi right here in the Land of Freedom. In a land that’s known as Freedom, how can such a thing be fair?

  6. I have Frank’s entire discography on a portable hard drive.
Sometimes the old guys are the coolest at the party.
An ex Bell tech gave me a copy.

  7. I always thought Zappa was overrated as a writer (he says snootily), but by God he could play guitar. There’s a version of “Sofa” on the “Roxy and Elsewhere” live album on which he spanks that plank until it well and truly behaves.
