These kids are inspirational. No record label, no agents, no managers just the two of them writing songs and throwing them to the wind.
Check out the New single.

Somebody with big bucks will sure go to Trudeau and get laws put in place.
Can’t have free music. Need to add that they need a license or school training to do it.
That’s how my line of work became illegal.
Heh, nailed it on the first comment.
According to Trudeau and other globalist elites, all rights and property belong to the state. People are commodities owned by the state, from intellectual property and idea’s to labor – ALL state owned.
Face tattoos. A great indicator of decision making abilities.
+++ Ward.
There’s a lot of history to this couple. I suggest you watch this. They’re the Jordan Petersons of rap.

Ward
I was thinking IDENTICAL thoughts…
Meh. The tattoos don’t bother me, it’s not my face, but the music sucks.
He picked the only career available with those
The visuals are not appealing, it is rather nauseating to watch.
The lyrics are good.
One must add tough that the young will connect better to the lyrics if the performer looks more like what is expected of the performance.
We’re not the audience.
THIS IS WHAT FIGHTING THE CULTURE WAR LOOKS LIKE.
Please people, think a little.
I am not the targeted audience, as a Canadian middle aged dog enthusiast that does not listen to rap, ever, and whose usual genre is jazz and/or elevator music, although music has never been a keen area of interest for me.
I usually wince at tattoos (any) and face jewelry. I just find that decoration hard to look at.
I have been listening to this couple for a week now, enjoying their music and lyric. I have been sharing their tunes with others in my home, rock die-hards, because I LIKE IT. I am sure there are many more like me.
Their accomplishment here is important, for exactly the reason you spell out. I have trouble understanding those that are daft to that.
Remember how our parents reacted to Alice Cooper?
Ha, the more things change, the more they stay the same. I suspect in another generation or so, seeing a face-tattooed CEO of a major corp will not even raise an eyebrow.
Tattoos are painful, and expensive, and start to look worse and worse as your skin ages.
There’s a reason young people get tattoos.
Anyway, I don’t see a future where CEO’s have face tattoos. I think it will go the way of the goatees and tongue piercings that were so popular in the 90’s. The fad will fade, just like the ink.
People shouldn’t have to get expensive doodles on their skin to prove they are creative.
He has a seven figure bank account now. If he keeps on the path he’s set for himself, he won’t need a CEO job. Look for him on the golf course when he’s 50.
This reminds me of Gene Simmons. No one used to take himself seriously because of what he looked like; then he opened his mouth and spoke.
Garbage.
try Jadyn Rylee, a Canadian girl who is about 15 now , and has been singing since she was about 2, has some excellent U-tube songs out from the time she was 10
and there is Charlotte Summers, from france, again excellent talent
Laura Cox, great guitarist
Lanie Gardener does Dreams, better than Stevie Nicks
Sina, on drums
and not ONE face tattoo
Are their songs fighting the woke crowd?
Are they calling out the hypocrites?
Are they confronting the BS we’re being fed by the media?
If not then what is the point of your comment?
Same with the others who are only looking at the appearance. Totally missing the point. For many here who think they are smarter than everyone else they’re proving the opposite.
Most politicians ‘look’ acceptable but their ideologies aren’t.
These kids actually put their necks on the line to fight woke culture in an industry in which doing so can get you killed in a drive by.
But go ahead anonymous free speech keyboard warriors … tell me more.
Good for them. I don’t care for the music and couldn’t understand what she was saying. The day I change my musical taste or start judging what I’m going to listen to based solely on the message will be … never. I wish them well but they’ll have to succeed without my help.
sporty, I listen to music for entertainment, and nothing FUCKING else, git it fool.
Ooh. Intelligent response.
And I get it. You’re a fool. It’s good to admit your flaws
ugh
Lot of people missing the point here.
It’s not about your musical tastes or finding hidden talent on YouTube.
These musicians virally crashed the gatekeepers with messages that are contrary to progressive wokeness. That matters in terms of parallel institution building and as Kate said…fighting the culture war.
Also these songs are good. I’m not a rap fan but you can tell.
Sporty beat me to it.
Sorry but if the music is sub standard, I’m not going to listen to the lyrics. It takes great music and great lyrics to make a great song.
“Shadows of Shadows passing… It is now 1831… and as always, I am absorbed with a delicate thought. It is how poetry has indefinite sensations to which end, music is an essential, since the comprehension of sweet sound is our most indefinite conception. Music, when combined with a pleasurable idea, is poetry. Music without the idea is simply music. Without music or an intriguing idea, color becomes pallour, man becomes carcass, home becomes catacomb, and the dead are but for a moment motionless.” – Edgar Allan Poe
And it takes someone who understands the meaning of the Iyrics to recognize one.
Good for them but I still don’t care to listen.
It’s a music revolution. I’m sure this is what keeps Geffen and other music moguls awake at nights, although Geffen has more money than God so I doubt he’ll be taking nightly slurps of Nyquil.
No more booking expensive studio time and signing soul sucking record record label contracts. For a few bucks artists can buy their own equipment, do their own recording…mix it to their liking and Bob’s your Uncle. Cutting out the middleman has been always a wonderful thing.
Me like.
I even like their music.
Check this out if you haven’t already. This girl has talent.

These two young peopIe are the biggest threat to the insanity going on in the Universities right now. They are more dangerous to the Iies of the Ieft than are Ben Shapiro, Ted Cruz, or any other “officiaI” conservative; one just has to see their message; not fixate on the packaging. The packaging by the way, is very much Iike that of their YOUNG audience…you know, the young peopIe who wiII decide the fate of the future society. If in doubt, googIe “PeopIe so Stupid” or “Fake Woke” to see what I mean. The message is strong….and it is the best way to show young voters and future Ieaders that teIIing the truth is actuaIIy a good way to go through Iife. These two show the Iies of the Ieft better than anyone eIse so far. They shouId be ceIebrated. And I say this as an over 50 IifeIong conservative….who by the way, has never had a tattoo, smoked drugs, or Iistened to rap music. If the message appeaIs to someone Iike me, the young kids wiII eat it up.
Since hearing them I have shared far and wide with my childrens’ friends and anyone else I think would get some kind of awakening from the lyrics. My favourite line is (not sure from which song): You grew up watching South Park and now you’re offended? And I was corrected as apparently this is considered hip-hop and not rap? Not that I would know the difference. I get it Kate, this is to get all those snowflakes to take a look at themselves, who cares how it is delivered?
The song titled “sober” is what kids need to hear right now. The linked song was a good sounding track, but Sober is what you should have linked to, it might help a few people get past their first impressions (like me)
Already a favourite. As someone who has been through 12-step I celebrated the comments here – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H5kt27itT4U&list=RDH5kt27itT4U&start_radio=1
Francisco’s post was about how they’re successfully going around the music industry cathedral to reach a mass audience. Mine was about why it’s important to acknowledge and promote them, even if you don’t care for the aesthetics.
Sorry. I’ve been playing and writing for over fifty years and no one is obliged to acknowledge and promote me or anyone else. However, I think almost everyone here would prefer my songs.
-sigh-
Tom MacDonaId and his GirI Nova are Iistened to by miIIions….but I’m sure you are happy to dish out a few cassette tapes from your trunk now and then. Good job.
More power to them. I wish them well and all the success in the world. I only object to the notion that I have to listen to them or anybody else. Bob Dylan, The Stones, Hendrix and The Beatles changed the world and it’s still here and according to many worse than ever. By the way, I’m all the way up to CDs. 😀
You don’t have to listen to them.
Just recognize and support the people who are fighting the same war on other fronts.
That’s all.
Is that too much?
What makes you think I don’t? You’re telling me they’re successful. Good for them. I never begrudge anyone success. However, there are lots of successful people and things that have managed to succeed without me. They may make a lot of money. Are they going to invest in any of my projects?
The point is to reach millions of people who aren’t on this blog. We can’t just preach to the choir.
Jordan Peterson is not someone who would direct my life.
Jordan peterson has never tried to direct ANYONE’s Iife. He’s trying to convince peopIe to be responsibIe for their Own Iife. That fact you can’t see it….is a pretty good indication you shouId Iisten to him.
Hip hop and rap do not qualify as music. It is considered Urban poetry…and what these young people are doing is great and needs to be shared and supported. If they enlighten the “woke” youngsters that have been brainwashed by the public education system, more power to them!
I’m an old conservative man and some of their lyrics brought tears to my eyes.
I would love to see them at the Grammys poking sticks in the eyes of the liberal elites!

Thanks Kate.
Those kids are impressive.
As far as the refusal to consider goes, you know the parable..
You can lead a horse to water but you cannot make it drink.
I too see some hope in both their music and their demolishment of the barriers between artist and paying audience.
An the delightful irony of songs mocking the cancel culture scum, hitting #1.
Perhaps the media slander of todays young adults,is as accurate as their pollsters?
“Censoring the facts turns our children into idiots.” Some choice lyrics in this song regardless of what you think of the aesthetics.
Everyone ends up preaching to the choir. So it goes.
