      1. We can thank that little old lady who sued McDonald’s when she spilled some of their coffee in her lap. (“It’s their fault that I was careless and stupid….”)

        1. No, but it WAS McDonald’s fault that their coffee caused 3rd degree burns. THAT’s why she won that case. You should also know that she was the passenger, NOT the driver, and the car was parked when the incident occurred.

          1. I remember hearing something like that. The problem with these ridiculous lawsuits is that here’s no requirement for the personal responsibility on the part of the plaintiff.

Now we need blinkin’ warning signs and anti-owie devices all over everything just in case someone is too dumb to know what they’re doing or won’t accept that accidents can happen.

        2. It’s a lawyer’s world out there.

I find it utterly bizarre that our bogus justice systems can spend countless hours arguing minutia on unimportant shit cases like this but they can then charge through Impeachments, federal elections and federal investigations, etc with the level of care similar to drunken elephants in a glass factory.

        3. If you make the world safe for idiots, you can be sure there will be more idiots. Mother Nature doesn’t do that.

          1. Or, as one wag once said, make something foolproof and only a fool would want to use it.

    1. Another Cunning Stunt. Literally.
I have zero sympathy for this vacuous dipshit…
…and near fell out of my chair upon seeing her face and reading her “anguish”…LMAO..!!!

      hmm lets see now.
In a BIDEN world: 1 or 2 million to be paid out cause SHE cant read..?

I wonder what Londo Molari used in his hair..???

    1. So, this is the third simple, safe and effective treatment or prophylactic for the Deadly Virus[TM] that is being ignored by the authorities. Why?

      1. The reason for not advertising / pursuing these options is that they would interfere with the vaccine agenda.

      1. Nah, I don’t have worms, yet. I do follow a vitamin regimen that includes extra zinc and vitamin D.

        1. The neighbors and I were working our calves last fall. You know, de-nutting, worming, etc. While we were there, I gave myself a shot of ivermectin. My case of the damned corona in January was very mild. And I’ve finally nailed down that trick of popping flies off the back of my head with my tail. Seems like the prairie hay smells sweeter, too.

  1. So with all the problems facing China’s Canada right now, including the vaccine fiasco, what was the country’s media focused on last night. Why Trump is Hitler stories of course, including the CBC’s bag over the head muslim news host.

    1. Our globalists political system wants fellowship and not leadership.
Anyone who has any leadership abilities then is decimated and hammered on by our media into being submissive fellowship.
Just look how hard the mainstream media and politicians used the dirtiest of tricks to change any message President Trump delivered even though the majority of it was extremely good leadership. Making into the narrative that anything President Trump said or stated was bad. The majority of US citizens turned away from the mainstream and President Trump became quite an influential force by the popularity of his election results.
We see how our current politicians can’t stomach anyone who shows some leadership abilities as they get demoted or even booted out our political system.

This is extremely bad as our leaders have no clue what to do in any crisis and search and copy others.

      1. The desperation currently is so great by the Democrats in the next week. I fear assassination is their final option on President Trump and they truly don’t care what the citizens outcry is. As the US Supreme Court meets February 19.
These are extremely evil people who only care about themselves. Nancy Pelosi just exudes that evil of hate and desperation against President Trump.

  2. I’ll receive little to no money from my remaining parent and neither will my better half and we don’t care.

“Canada is the most educated country in the OECD, but Canada is also the number one country in terms of educated people living in poverty because we cannot transfer what we study into good jobs, because some people study the wrong thing that is not practical to the economy,” he said.

No shit, Sherlock. That’s why they bitch for equality of outcome or a guaranteed income.

    1. I inherited my father’s investment portfolio. He made a good living as a machinist, including a lot of overtime. That allowed my parents to live comfortably, and he took what he was able to save and carefully invested it. It took many years to build up what he had.

I didn’t too badly as an engineer and I did the same: living modestly and saving and investing what I could. Actually, I think I made more money from my investments than I did by working. Again, that took most of my adult life to accomplish that.

I don’t feel sorry for the people in the article. Both my parents and I maintained a proper financial perspective. They acquired theirs through growing up during wartime and not spending whatever money they had with wild abandon. In my case, I lost several years of gainful employment thanks to PET and Mulruin, but I was able to make back much of the money I would have otherwise received by working in a similar way.

Neither my parents or I took on any unreasonable debt and whenever we did borrow money through our respective lines of credit, we paid it back quickly. We bought the best we could afford and saved accordingly.

Why can’t other people do the same?

    2. Today, the average educated Canadian, lacks the ability to use logic and/or critical thinking.
People who should have been carpenters, brick layers, day labourers, etc. were shuttled off to Dollar U. to collect, with minimal intellectual investment, their degrees in art history, and Useless Studies.
It’s not surprising that the end result is a plethora of untrained janitorial contestants.

      1. I often encountered such people while I was teaching at Armpit College. Many of my students had really no idea what they wanted to do with themselves after they finished high school and, often, no real interest in what they were studying.

I suspect many of them were there because their parents gave them an ultimatum: find a job or go to school, or else.

More recently, soon after my father died, I hired a high school kid to cut the lawn and, later, shovel snow at the house I inherited. He was finishing either Grade 8 or 9 at the time and, whenever I asked him what he wanted to do after graduation, I always got “I dunno”. The reason I posed the question was that I wanted to avoid the situation I encountered while I was teaching.

I think in his case, he had helicopter parents and he spent much of his time playing on the Internet. When I was his age, the early space program was in the news and that was what I wanted to do later on. I had the foresight to look ahead to see what I needed to learn in order to do that.

Much of that motivation came from me because I had figured out that I needed to earn my rewards and that my accomplishments weren’t going to be handed to me. We can blame the educationists who insisted that “self-esteem” was far more important than knowledge and/or skill, thereby killing any sense of obligation to oneself.

        1. There was a time in the land of the free when there was this organization called the draft board. That all men when they reached the age of attainder (aka age of majority) they had to register with the board and let them know if they hadn’t gotten on with life in the pursuit of a career. The default position was that if you where not in pursuit of a career or profession, and where of sound mind and body, you where available to fill the ranks of the armed services.
With this reality facing young men, they took it upon themselves to ensure they where either in college getting educated or otherwise employed. The reality that if you didn’t plan for the future or wanted to be a ward of the state, the expectation was that you would likely win the draft lottery and soon find yourself in some $hit hole in a firefight was a motivation enough to be both employed and employable.
This arrangement kept the cost of liberty put where it could be seen and appreciated.
          These days, not so much.

          1. On the other hand, the military was often a good option. Many of those who enlisted learned skills that would be valuable in industry, such as a trade or even something as basic as discipline and organization.

A former colleague of mine told me about his younger days. He didn’t know what to do with himself after high school, so he ended up serving in the old RCAF for several years. He met some reservist pilots who happened to be engineering students in university and he was inspired to study that after his term of service was finished.

        2. BA

That mirrors my experience at SAIT. Two classes of 63 altogether, out of which maybe 8 of us were over 30. Only 11 of those 63 Graduated with a Diploma of Welding Technology….self included. This was not a puff course by any stretch.

I took it after attaining my Journeyman status as Welder. 1984

  3. Remember the Liberals ranting about a sixteen dollar glass of orange juice? Blacklock reports on a federal executive hosting a dinner for staff at an expensive dining establishment, and ordering thirty nine dollar a plate scallops.

    1. I can imagine what Error O’Foole is going to make of that….. You’re thinking of crickets, too, aren’t you?

    1. Gina’s crime? She shared a TikTok post comparing the current divided political climate in the U.S. to Nazi Germany.

The Charge: as a jewish person, this is fucking vile and unnecessary. gina carano needs to be held accountable. the oppression my people have faced because of our religion and ethnicity is NOT the same as political disagreements. pic.twitter.com/ABuM8kO5hM — sarah ✡︎ (@leiaswinterfell) February 10, 2021

Gina should have skipped the lesson on “Never Again”. Obviously Sarah did.

Dachau Nazi concentration camp was opened in March 1933. From 1933 to 1938, the prisoners were mainly German nationals detained for political reasons. In total, 200,000 prisoners were interned over the years, of whom two-thirds were political prisoners. Dachau was used as the chief camp for Christian clergy who were imprisoned for not conforming with the Nazi Party line.

Newspapers continually reported “the removal of the enemies of the Reich to concentration camps. Prisoners lived in constant fear of brutal treatment. There were 32,000 documented deaths.

  4. Now that Blackie has solved Canada’s problems, he is back on the virtual election tour. He starts off by joining China Patty as they discuss with health care experts across the country on what a wonderful job he is doing. He then virtually celebrates his favourite holiday, the Chinese New Year. Expect lots of comments from him as he rants about Canadians being racist bastards towards Chinese Canadians.

      1. BA – and if we could find someone to hang him from a tree we would just be decorating. Hasn’t answered a question that I can recall in 5 1/2 years. Sorry , he did tell a vet he was asking for more than they deserved.

        1. And don’t forget, when asked about his “gender-balanced” cabinet, “Because it’s 2015.”

    1. $15 an hour – and not a penny more!

AOC knows that Amazon HQ employees making $75 an hour won’t vote for her, so she had to keep Amazon HQ out of her district.

At $15 an hour she knows they must also rely on government hand-outs to live in her district, and therefore she can threaten them at election time. Nasty!

      1. No matter how many times I have told people that the minimum is always the bottom and all costs will rise to consume that minimum, they never seem to grasp that basic fact of economics. Socialists are completely devoid of any economic intelligence.

        1. Minimum wage jobs are often entry-level. Nobody is expected to stay at the bottom for the duration of their careers. Positions higher up in the system pay better and have more responsibility and authority, so there are some incentives for someone to improve their situations.

    2. Exactly. The smarty-pants don’t understand that a minimum is a type of limit.
Im surprised they dont argue for maximums as well – more outcome equality…except for the elite.

  5. Is Blackie going to call a snap election before the vaccine fiasco hurts him further? O’Toole is Hitler ads have started on TV stations.

  6. Blackie’s ministers are on the job solving Canada’s problems today. A number of them will gathering to announce new funding for homosexual and lesbian groups.

  7. Martin Luther King’s “I have a dream..”
A country where his children will be judged by the content of their character not the colour of their skin..
The Burn Loot Murder Cretins are mocking the piss out of MLK and banishing every person who holds those values.
In doing so,every supporter of the current idiocy are showing the content of their character.
For we all know these virtue signalling scolds, have no character.
Which is why double standards are all they have.
Now the Parasitic Overload is all in on “Supporting Black Business”.
But they are adamant that they are not the racists they are looking for.
CBC seeks racists everywhere, all they need to do is look in the mirror,as they are so certain they are “nurturing those poor brown people”while broadcasting that soft condescending smarmy superiority that marks their blatant contempt.
There be white supremists all over Canada, they are the brave “Racism Hunters” who cannot see the log in their own eyes.
They were last famous in history as “Witch Finders” seeking to eradicate all the evil they saw (in independent women)..In their own souls.
    Reflection is saner than projection.
If you like what you see.

Naturally we see why our Progressive Comrades are all into projection, cause reflection shows something they cannot face.

  8. Ontario teacher unions are outraged that March break has been postponed until April 12th. The ski hills are opening up this week!!!!

  9. National Post reports on the ongoing court case the CBC has against the Conservative Party. They claim in court that the Conservative Party’s ads in the last election hurt the CBC’s great reputation among the Canadian public.

  10. In some recent Rebel News reports, Keean Bexte mentioned that the security firm G4S was hired to kidnap and detain citizens in “isolation” hotels.

It looks like my apartment complex has hired that outfit, as I occasionally cross paths with its guards. Before that, we had Garda.

It appears that Garda has been trying to buy G4S:

  11. The Liberal Party’s CBC is excited that at today’s impeachment circus, quotes from Trudeau were read out during the hearing in which Justin blamed Trump for the riot.

    1. That is outrageous. Trudeau has no business sticking his nose in the affairs of another country. What he thinks should have no impact on the outcome of the impeachment trial. Trudeau is a complete A$$, and in this case I’ll bet he is following orders from his globalist masters.

  12. And now your Canadians are racist bastards story for today. The Liberal Party’s loyal Toronto Star explains that Canadians are racist bastards for wanting to vacation in the Caribbean islands. It promotes colonialism or something.

  13. Oh Sweet Saint Of San Andreas Take Them Now. “KATE”
There was a time when Lunatics like this were locked away for the rest of their lives. Now they are celebrated. Our so called civilization, our countries deserve everything that is coming. What will these sick Fucks do next handbags and lampshades from human skin.
