Via email;
The province of Alberta last year commissioned a report to understand the influence of foreign entities working against the Alberta Petroleum industry. While the final report is not yet released, some of the supporting documentation and reports are now online.
The site is: albertainquiry.ca and the most damning of the supporting reports is https://albertainquiry.ca/sites/default/files/2021-01/Nemeth%20Report.pdf
It is a long read and there is an addendum report that is also available (below) as this initial supporting report was produced early last year. The addendum was produced in November.Needless to say, the lefty sites have been going nuts trying to discredit the inquiry and the reports, so someone is certainly hitting the nail on the head. Vice, CBC, G&M, etc are all going after the authors and trying to block the report in court.
Thus is the addendum report: https://albertainquiry.ca/sites/default/files/2021-01/Nemeth%20Report%20%28Supplement%29.pdf
Note, one needs to click through the engagement process button to get to all the files.
People need to read these files, unfortunately they are quite in-depth and so it is not a light reading session.
Let’s do a crowdsource on this one: the comments are open for that purpose and directly related commentary only.
COMMENTS ARE FOR THOSE WHO HAVE READ THE DOCUMENTS OR PORTIONS OF. Off topic will be deleted.

As far as I got:
“towards a Great
Transformation to voluntarily end capitalism, and the fossil fuel industry at its the heart. It is
diverse in “membership” but unified in the ultimate goal – to overthrow and replace the capitalist
modern industrial democratic system everywhere.33 This was articulated quite clearly by George
Monbiot, a well-known progressive, in a recent Munk Debate in Toronto, Ontario, where he
argued for the proposition that “ending climate change requires the end of capitalism as we know
it.”34 His main point was that the very idea and system of capitalism is the problem, no variant of
it will make things better. David Korten, former professor at the Harvard Business School and
Club of Rome Member agreed, writing in February 2020, that Western capitalist industrial
civilization was the world’s biggest problem.35”
There is nothing scarier than these socialists – now called progressives.
“There is nothing scarier than these socialists – now called progressives.”
Yup. But they were always known by another name as well: hypocrites.
I can’t get my head around the motives for CBC’s efforts to “block” the report. I know it’s a useless parasitic bureaucracy that makes a cruel mockery of the word journalism, and it is staffed from top to bottom with socialists and other hypocrites, but overt moves to “block” the report (instead of relying on their old standbys of derision or ignoring it) represents blatant activism.
Oh well, not to worry. I’m sure that Pinky O’Toole will nail them to the wall.
I think CBC deliberatrly blocking this report should be taken up as an isdue in Parliament. I am pretty sure the PMO is calling the shots on that — though They will deny it. But with the billion or so dollars going to the CBC, Parliament should have a say. This is censoring something of vital interest to Canadians. Most dupes in Canada still think the war against pipelines is about climate change. People need to understsand plans that are in the works to alter their whole economy and governance.
That the Killing of Western Hemisphere Capitalism is at the heart of Climate Change should come as zero Surprise to ANYONE – They told us straight to our FACES back in 2015
Christina Figuere (ICCP General Secretary)
“This is the first time in the history of mankind that we are setting ourselves the task of intentionally, within a defined period of time, to change the economic development model that has been reigning for at least 150 years, since the Industrial Revolution.”
Ottmar Edenhofer (Group Leader ICCP).
“Climate change policy is about how we redistribute de facto the world’s wealth.”
SFA to do with Climate per se and EVERTHING To do with the utter destruction of Western Hemisphere Capitalism – 100% COMMUNISM.
Figures…as soon as I go to read it…LOL same quotes used in report….ah well.!!
Report saved as .pdf. IN the “WTF” file folder/
To Buddy and Jamie: “There is nothing scarier than these socialists – now called progressives.” Yes Virginia there is something much scarier. Look up who the “Einsatzgruppen” were (there’s a four part documentary is available on Netflix:https://www.netflix.com/ca/title/80134093 ) . The Einsatzgruppen was a relatively small organization of 3000 mostly German policemen. Their primary mission was elimination of “potential” opposition and followed immediately behind the Wehrmacht that was marching into Russia. They used locals to do their horrible dirty work and often disposed of the hired help when it was time to move on. The operation was so blindly fast and efficient that the thousands of people rounded up in every area cleansed of “potential opposition” had no idea they were being eliminated. Their victims were men, women and children. Nobody was spared. What should terrify people is the degree of cold methodical intentional pre-planned purpose these mass murders were being carried out. Carried out simply in the name of preserving the 1000 Year Fascist Reich. Think it can’t happen again? There’s a reason why things are being pushed at us so fast and it’s a simple one.
Thank you for posting this. Makes chilling reading. For me, the scariest phrase is ‘equality of outcome’. Neocommunism whether we like it or not. I’m old and I will never submit to these Intellectual Yet Idiots. Generations are going to be enslaved in grinding poverty and starvation while the chosen elites enjoy hedonistic lives. No need for the CCP to wage war as we’ll all be defacto Communist China.
A powerful indictment. Yes, many (most?) Canadians are fools. But the methods of “progressives” (socialists, communists) include knowing how to brainwash people. Again, the media is much to blame for not providing balanced views. Who would not agree with strategies for “saving the planet”? Canadians are trusting, and do not want to think that media, their politicians and institutions are lying to them. That is too negative, too scary. Once group think has taken hold, it is hard to stop. Agreeable people don’t like to go against what most other people think. So, it is not so much inherent stupidity, on the part of Canadians as it is naivety and deliberate brainwashing.
My three biggest complaints against electric cars:
1) they DON’T HAVE THE RANGE, and take FAR TOO LONG to recharge. Current battery technology IS NOT THERE YET, especially in cold climates like ours.
2) they have to be CHARGED, and the generating capacity IS NOT THERE – and the GWAlarmists’s rosy dream of electric cars powered by wind turbines, is just that – a dream. “Renewable” electricity generators – wind turbines and solar cells – don’t generate enough electricity to pay for their own replacement when (not “if”) they wear out or fail – and our elites just keep on cramming them down our throats and oh yeah, making us pay for them. Until then, they’re being built and powered by coal.
3) our elites’ push for electric cars is horribly disadvantaging third world poor, who are crawling in holes in the dirt, using sticks to mine the stuff the batteries are made-of. The West sorta’ did-away with children working 16-hour days down mineshafts 200 years ago – and now our betters are forcing third-world children to risk and stunt their lives doing it, and all to flatter our pointless virtue-signalling.
And my biggest complaint about the whole zero-carbon nonsense is still that it’s an open-and-shut lie, and the CO2 effects they’re pointing-and-shrieking about ARE NOT HAPPENING, and WON’T. And oh yeah – we get to pay for that too.
Oh yes! History shows that mankind LOVES complete and total loss of their Freedoms.
Don’t you yearn for a world where you are FORBIDDEN to eat a beef hamburger … but elites like Gavin Newsom are free to eat beef cheeks a la Orange at The French Laundry $395.00 prix fixe
The GoC is a symptom, not the disease – if Little Potato and his Butts-buddy were the only ones talking-the-talk, they’d be ignored by everybody in the world instead of just by us.
Exactly. You and Jim get it.
I had seen Leugner’s excellent letter in the N. Post online comments back in 2019. I didn’t know the author, but I continue to distribute it to this day. Now I thank him for it.
The Equator Principles is a lesser known organization who’s aim is at the Banking sector. Under the guise of “Applicable Environmental and Social Standards” sound and profitable investment projects in particular in the 3 world get declined to the loss of billions. And 3 world countries fall victim to the Chinese belt and road programs creating dependency to the CCP.
https://equator-principles.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/The-Equator-Principles-July-2020-v2.pdf
A good book by Steve Milloy’s “Green Hell: How Environmentalists Plan to Control Your Life and What You Can Do to Stop Them” explains the Equator Principles.
There is a lot to read. I went a bit into it and found the section where they say that people in western countries will “have to get used to ‘intermittent electricity’ as a fact of life”. (not an exact quote) So, electric vehicles without the range or efficiency of fossil fuel, unable to recharge them them anyways, restrictions on who can own vehicles, all means suppression of individual rights and freedoms.
Sorry for the rambling to follow…just a few, disorganized take-aways from what I read, and what they will result in:
We’ll still have ‘freedom’, but the left will take away the tools to enjoy freedom. Vehicles, electricity, firearms…anything that people enjoy, but is unacceptable to socialists, will be taken away. It also implies personal ownership of most goods will be banned. Enjoy a house that is ‘too big’…that will be taken away; many goods will be ‘pooled’…need to use a power saw? You can’t own one, but you can borrow one from a central depot.
Crop planting and maintenance will be centrally planned. The amount of farmland currently in use is to be reduced by about 25%. Farmers will be told what they will plant, limited in the types and amounts of fertilizers, insecticides and herbicides they can use, and there will be a great reduction in the amount of food-livestock that will be permitted.
It’s almost as if Covid was released deliberately as part of the plan to get the oppressive portion of the ‘great reset’ started. It also hints that Trump was in the way of this world-wide ‘great reset’, which would explain why there was so much disinterest by the progressive part of the world in getting to the truth of voting fraud. – they needed him out of the way.
It looks as though we may never get back the freedoms we had even 18 months ago, if this is allowed to continue.
<iIt also implies personal ownership of most goods will be banned. Enjoy a house that is ‘too big’…that will be taken away; many goods will be ‘pooled’…need to use a power saw? You can’t own one, but you can borrow one from a central depot.
As long-time B. C. residents how the land bank inflicted on the province by Dave Barrett’s NDP nearly 50 years ago worked out.
It looks as though we may never get back the freedoms we had even 18 months ago
Replace “may” with “will” and you’d be closer to the truth.
We hardly heard of the activities of these organizations until Prinz Dummkopf was first elected PM. Since then, their shenanigans have become all too obvious.
Coincidence? (Yeah, right.)
It wouldn’t surprise me if that scumbag made arrangements with those outfits to “spontaneously” start attacking Alberta and its oil industry. And, no, it has nothing to do with the environment or “saving the planet”.
What puzzles me is the agenda of ‘overthrowing capitalism’. I simply don’t understand the reasoning for such an agenda.
Capitalism, to me, is an economic system based around private individual ownership of the production of goods and services. This is different from ‘collective ownership’ of the production of goods and services.
The benefits of private individual ownership are obvious. First, it enables an exponential growth of both goods and services – which enables both population growth and the well-being of the population [who now have both the money to purchase and the goods/services to buy]. Second – is its capacity for reducing risks to the economy. That is, in private individual ownership – IF the product doesn’t do well in the market, THEN, the only people to suffer [bankruptcy] are the private individual owners. Not the whole community. In a socialist or communist economy, where the ‘collective’ ‘owns’ the production – and the product fails – then, the WHOLE community is impoverished.
Capitalism enabled the rapid movement of the population out of poverty and servitude, into ‘small business owners’ with more goods and services available to more people.
Third, capitalism enables innovation and the development of new products. Groups don’t think; only individuals think. Capitalism, with its focus on individual freedom, rewards innovation and new ideas, new technologies, new ways of doing things. Collectivism is a repressive mode, rejecting individual freedom and thought – and can’t handle diversity and novelty. Capitalism therefore, is highly adaptive and flexible to needed changes, while collectivism can’t adapt.
Therefore – I simply don’t understand why these people reject capitalism.
I think as you do ET and thought the idiots must see the green plan etc will not work but I now honestly believe they are such a smug spoiled generation that they honestly don’t see the consequences of their actions
I have several long time friends who hate Capitalism yet when I point out how they personally have benefited from it they still wont change their minds. One friend sold his Toronto home for $1.3 million enabling him to buy a condo here in Toronto as well as a home in Bobcaygeon. All due to the open market we have. By the way his wife was a teacher and enjoys the huge benefits taken from the private sector.
David Hand – one tactic to use with people who ‘hate capitalism’ is to ask them what capitalism means.
They will usually come up with a psychological definition: ‘It’s all about greedy people who rip off other people’. But ‘greed’ has nothing to do with capitalism or with any economic mode. It’s a basic aspect of human nature and is quite obvious in socialism and communism – where the Rulers become greedy-for-power.
All that capitalism is – is a socioeconomic system based around individual free enterprise, where the individual takes the risk of setting up a new business [and if he fails, only he suffers, not the whole community]. As such a system, capitalism enables and encourages a huge growth in the production of goods and services – each striving and competing for acceptance and thereby, promoting ‘the best products and services’. It also moves people out of servitude and into self-responsibility. And – it is the only means of enabling innovation and development.
Nothing to do with our psychological nature of ‘greed’. Everything to do with our psychological nature of curiosity, exploration, interaction and striving for the best.
Ask them what type of socioeconomic system they think is best – As I said, socialism and communism, because they reject individual free will and work – are extremely risky [failure of a product destroys the collective]; and unable to provide for growth of populations – and – unable to develop new technologies.
“What puzzles me is the agenda of ‘overthrowing capitalism’. I simply don’t understand the reasoning for such an agenda.”
– Simples, ET – the World Workers’ Social Utopia (which they aim to head-up, of course) is incompatible with capitalism. The very base functioning of capitalism – umpty billion free individuals making their own choices minute-by-minute about EVERYTHING – has been of marvellous benefit everywhere it’s been tried (look what it’s done for Vietnam), and even throttled-back versions (i.e., China) have massively benefitted “The People”.
But benefitting The People is not what they want – despite it being the overriding principle they bang-on about nonstop. “CAPITALISM is BAAAAD for EVERYBODY! WE want to IMPROVE the lot of the PROLETARIAT!” They know they can do it – they’re so much smarter than we, the great mass of unwashed deplorables – but the great mass of unwashed deplorables are perfectly happy to make all their own lamentably bad, politically-incorrect decisions, and just don’t know what it’s COSTING them – the poor dears. Everything will be SO MUCH BETTER for them when WE make all their decisions – they’ll thank us for this one day! And we’ll work SO HARD for them too, so VERY hard – we’ll need our rest to work even harder for them, and we’ll be entitled to our Zil’s and dachas.
And yeah, Stalinism was actually just fine – for everyone who was Stalin.
I think all of you miss the point. In your comments I keep seeing the word free as in freedom. Free has to be the biggest 4 letter word in the progressive (socialist/communist/cesspool) vocabulary. World domination and population reduction cannot stand FREE.
Those that don’t remember history are bound to repeat it. After the reveloution the first casualities are the revolters.
The most frightening bits I read in the Introduction:
1). Wealth Tax: The Great Reset no longer requires JUST the government to redistribute wealth … but YOU will be MADE to give up YOUR wealth too. So … all the years you toiled, saved, invested, labored … and finally accumulated a measure of comfort in your life … your wealth will be stripped from you (and your heirs) and redistributed to? What? More wind tower maintenance?
2). Circular Economy: How quaint. Invent a new name for Communism – circular economy. This is where “the government” (a one-world global governance larger and more sweeping than the United Nations) owns all the capital, goods, and services. Huh? Sounds like Communism. But the new branding of Communism sounds wonderful … a circle … an unbroken connection between all the peoples of the earth. The most perfect form in nature – Right? Awwww … how beautiful. Uggggh. The circular economy is a circular JAIL cell … that we will all ENJOY living within … right?
When I was young (in the 1960’s – 70’s) the hippies were dropping out, cashing-in and were creating their own small “circular economies” (Communes) in the hinterlands of America. It was all the rage, and even featured on the pages of LOOK and LIFE magazines (remember those?). Topless young women, naked children running free, and free love among all. Total Nirvana … an escape from the oppressive capitalist world. But most every one collapsed within a few years. Why? Human beings. Humans are born FREE. Not to live in communes where eventually the free love gave way to rules and regulations as everyone needed to carry their weight. One commune member sleeping and schtupping all day … while another was working in the fields proved intolerable. Turns out that communes (Communism) abhors FREEDOM. Freedom cannot be tolerated as the “circular economy must be unbroken”. Every Communist subject MUST be told what to do, and when to do it. Turns out that humans don’t much like being enslaved in that way … and having their lives and futures utterly dependent upon other undependable adults.
I wonder if the wunderkind that follow this insanity realize just how badly it will fail. What do you think the answer would be if you were to ask them “so if you only drink your own urine and sweat, and only eat your own fecal matter, then you would be the perfect circular economy. How long do you think you could survive like that?”
There’s nothing more dangerous than an academic who has never had to live in the real world who gets to dictate policies. Unless it’s the same academic who can gain personal power against everyone else by doing the same.
Therefore – I simply don’t understand why these people reject capitalism.
I sat through numerous Sunday sermons in which capitalism was the greatest sin, America was the Great Satan for encouraging and supporting it, and that the only way to salvation was “wealth re-distribution” (i. e., confiscation).
Sadly, many of the people in the congregation I was associated with (quite foolishly, it turned out) agreed with it. They were either communists themselves (justifying that belief as “faith in action”) or believed that the minister was infallible and that he spoke for God.
“Therefore – I simply don’t understand why these people reject capitalism.”
People are born not as angels and certainly not as gods; people are fallible. People can be selfish, greedy, ignorant, hateful, wasteful, vain, lustful… and people can be evil. Evil enough to believe that they must crush society as it stands to replace it with something “better”. Something that has them at the top, of course. All for your own good. And if you do not like it, you will be crushed, swept aside.
“If you want a picture of the future, imagine a boot stamping on a human face—for ever.”
That is why.
Sometimes ET, you are guilty of thinking too highly of humanity.
ET – Think “Stakeholder Capitalism”. That’s China’s model. Benefits of capitalism with private ownership of the means, but overseen and controlled by government.
What we use to call fascism! They invent all sorts of terms to mask it but the report makes it clear that is where we are heading.
Need a car sir, sure you can buy anything we have to offer. All 2 models are available and both are crap. I wonder how well an electric Lada will drive? Ah, no point worrying as I’ll never be allowed one anyways.
Or from each according to their ability, to each as the bureaus of the state determine their need.
Funny how the bureaucrats always end up needing more under those conditions, isn’t it?
The world’s population is giving the elites too much competition for resources/wealth even with the crony capitalism we have now. The elite rentier class has devised a way they think will capture resources without the competition from us. ‘We’ won’t be allowed to own cars, houses, etc but they will own the resources and we will pay for the privilege of living in their city slums. They won’t want us to be able to sustain our families by for eg growing our own food hence the drive to greater urbanisation. The co-optation of influential dissenting voices to become controlled opposition is as old as humans.
Since the fall of the Soviet Union, the left has reorganized by draping themselves in green. These waves of environmental hysteria dating back to the sixties have essentially replaced Christianity as a major societal force. The result, well documented by Nemeth, is an institutional left utilizing green theocracy in combination with economic fascism (privately held) corporations in concert with the state (exemplified by Trudeau’s bought off media). In such dystopic thinking, the benefits from capitalism you describe are seen as original sin and only through centrally planned existence, can there be salvation. It is a war on prosperity.
I am impressed at the depth of this work as I was skeptical when the Alberta government, known for relying on bad actors cited within the document such as Pembina – commissioned it. I can see why the media branch of the institutional left (Transnational Progressive Movement) wants it censored.
Fundamentally, fossil fuels and important minerals are not equally distributed around the world. This is a way to force that ‘sharing’ and fossil fuel rich areas or users will have to pay a ‘carbon tax’ equalization fee for their luck. William Kay gives a good, quick overview. Of course other opportunist green cronies and developing nations (bribed into the Paris Agreement with the promise of a $100 bn/yr Green Climate Fund, w no accountability) have all jumped on board, too. https://youtu.be/7DimL5e19iw
ET, what you accurately describe as the benefits of capitalism are precisely what Marxists, “progressives”, and eco-zealots hate the most. Capitalism is the ideal system for harnessing the power of entrepreneurial initiative and effective business management to increase economic activity and overall income. It maximizes personal opportunity as well as economic activity and growth. (it does not address itself to income distribution or “social justice”, but leaves that to governments.) Growth has historically (and in some places now) meant increasing use of resources and energy, and it has established the basis for population to grow. The climate catastrophe hypothesis, like the Malthusian theory to which it is related, sees economic and population growth as something that must be stopped and then reversed. Indeed, these are, at base, fundamentally anti-human movements that dress themselves up in terms like “saving the planet”.
We need lots of people to save this report lest it be “Clintoned.”
Mysteriously disappeared.
Lost in the shuffle.
We have never had capitalism. We have a mercantilism for the elite. As long as you contribute to their wealth creation and their wealth accumulation, they will let you eat the crumbs off the table.
You just summed up what Ralph Klein did in Alberta. He was a shameless crony capitalist.
Well, here are the propagandists (including the Canadian Association of Journalism) calling the report propaganda. That will be the ” official” ( for the propagandists) line of defense, and undoubtedly CBC’s excuse. Their case rests on the claim that climate change cannot be questioned, so “fighting climate change” cannot be considered “activism”. See how that works?

Our governments have stolen away society’s ability to be innovative due to the multitude of laws and restrictions imposed that some other countries don’t have. Blamed by health and safety and yet some companies and organizations have exemptions as many are imported that we cannot build or compete.
Many of these regulations are redundant and were never reviewed or incorporated.
Our Healthcare made many areas we pay extra for unnecessary. Unlike the United States who have to pay for everything upfront. Insurance in Canada is one of those areas we are paying twice for as our health system protects its citizens.
Our politicians get kickbacks from these companies proves these laws were unnecessary.
“It’s amazing how much panic one honest man can spread among a multitude of hypocrites. ”
― Thomas Sowell
(No, he’s not sexist. ‘man’ is just short for ‘human’)
The report is terrifying from beginning to end. I’m a little glad that some of the propagandists are at least reading it.
Wow I say this report did hit a nerve Finally the good guys go on the offensive, when you get idiots like the one Linda presented and Eastern Canadian “fake news “ climate reporters defending themselves you’ve done something right.Stay on the offensive Alberta. This is the best news I’ve had in a long time on the war against the anti oil coalition
Ooohhh… a Report!
Now THAT’S what I call fighting back!
Pen is mightier than the sword
Free people working together at their jobs and trading together making win-win deals, thereby feeding and sheltering their families, is the greatest force for civilization, peace, and against racism. Call it capitalism or call it freedom, same thing.
Keephills 1 & 2 powerplants are ready to switch from coal to natural gas.
But the coal supplied by “First Nations” are not willing to let go of that golden egg.
SJW Schadenfreude
Isn’t it interesting that I don’t read ANY Chinese names among the groups pushing this Great Reset. And I find it laughably disingenuous that all the Corporate Heads who have signed onto this nonsense … have off-shored most of their manufacturing to Communist China where NONE of the draconian provisions of The Great Reset will be implemented. So they will gleefully enslave their customers … while remaining free to seek cheap labor and unchecked environmental destruction.
Chinese connections are being reviewed, but they are much more remarkably tight lipped (in english) about their influence and straight up corruption than the braggarts in the west who think their takeover is almost a fait accompli (and literally brag about it at conferences and presentations).
Plus, searching chinese documentation and reading it requires good comprehension of chinese. SDA readers fluent in chinese could always do some groundwork on their own and contact some of the inquiry staff and/or authors with their findings.
Reading the report, it seems the diesel I bought to efficiently and reliably (if it wasn’t for emissions systems that fail) get me an hour away to work where I don’t want to live will eventually become illegal.
I will have to chose different work or buy an electric vehicle that may or may not reliably make the 200 km trip every day after I rip apart the refinished basement to install a charger. To make progressives happy well, fk them.
fk them all.
People have no idea what’s coming.
They are being led around by their noses and they are to stupid to notice.
I don’t know about everyone else but I’m getting sick and tired of continually taking one for the team.
In what’s supposed to be a FREE country.
Screwing over your neighbors, that just want to be left alone shouldn’t be an ingredient to an intelligent, decent persons happiness.
This “Great Reset” is nothing short of World War III and the enemy has troops embedded in every aspect of power in the West. Politicans, public servants at all levels, education, environmentalism, all corrupted.
I specifically warned that off topic comments would be removed and I’ve pulled about a dozen.
Please — if you aren’t actually going to read the report or portions of, and address its content directly, then do not post on this thread.
When Kate does it, that means that it’s not censorship. Certain OT is allowed, but not others. Twitter would be so proud.
Uncalled for.
Plenty of other threads to comment on.
Some light weekend reading ahead.
Funny how the Stupid Evil Twits are all driven to boast of their lying and malice as soon as they can.
“Grubered” enough yet?
Reports like this are necessary.
For most people ignored Vivian Kruse.
And the opponents of this report are exposed as the useful tools they truly are.
Never do the Progressives,a very apt label if you think progressive as rust, tell us what energy will replace the hydrocarbons they insist we little people may not have.
Their so called solutions fall short by Tera Joules,so where will the missing energy come from?
Slavery?
Human Slavery?
As it was the industrial revolution that broke the back of human slavery.
Thanks to the fine work of hard men and some very smart engineers, before that word was stolen by credentialed nitwits,we live as Gods compared to our very recent past.
Now I am all for persuading others of the strength of your argument, however our Progressive Comrades have chosen a different path.
They seek to silence and compel.
So in retribution for such antisocial malice we may now return the favour.
We did not attack these parasites.
They assaulted us,like a man being mugged in a meadow,we were first shocked and taken aback.
Now we see these fools and bandits for who they are.
Let us use their tactics ,they shall live as they preach.
Compel them to become “Carbon Free”.
As this would kill them,so sad too bad.
For this Cult of Calamitous Climate is a Deathcult.
Old time superstition, glorifying illogic, scapegoating and mass hysteria, they have assaulted civil society long enough, have done enormous damage to our combined wealth and personal freedoms.
Remember this.
We did not attack them.
They chose the authoritarian route and they chose dishonesty, corruption and propaganda over honest civil discourse.
By seeking to compel everyone to cow tow to their religion, they chose their own fate.
The blatant dishonesty of our government institutions has been laid bare by their embrace of this lie.
2021 is off to a good start.
Consent to being governed does not mean “agreeing to being ruled” especially not by lying parasites.
The roadmap for citizen control being exported from China from their previous infiltration of governments worldwide, as witnessed by the control and censorship of indigenous populations is quite obvious if you open your eyes and do some research.
The investment in Africa alone is mind boggling all done under the cover of the belt and road initiative. the current great reset scam, using covid19 as a vehicle to keep people in a panic. we need to wake up or start practicing how to bear our chains lightly.
The other thing that puzzles me – apart from the progressive’s incredible ignorance of the nature of capitalism as a socioeconomic system – is an equally incredible ignorance of the natural reality of ‘climate change’.
Just to continue with the economic mode -how do you impose a ‘wealth tax’ on a collective? Wealth taxes are only operative in a capitalist economic mode, where an individual sets up a private business [providing goods and services] and makes a profit [which is then invested in more businesses and jobs and goods]. That is, it is a rare situation where a business owner puts his profits in his socks. He’ll put it in the bank – which will lend it to other entrepreneurs or use it to enlarge his own business. So, in this Progressive World, the profit would be taken by this New Government – which would leave nothing available for setting up a new business. Of course, the State could take on the task of setting up the new business – but – collective businesses, as I’ve pointed out, are risk-filled, filled with indifference and incompetence and petty jealousies which are embedded because the participants can’t be fired or leave [think of our public bureaucracy]. So – wealth creation stops in any and all collective systems.
The benefit of collective systems is their stability; they are unable to change. Socially, they exert tremendous pressure against individualism and ‘deviation from the norm’. We’ve seen this mode in all tribal societies, in basic hunting/gathering; in small scale agricultural systems such as found in feudalism and all two-class systems. Their problems are that they are unable to handle increases in population, which require different methods to increase goods and service production; they can’t adapt, can’t develop new technologies. The history of mankind shows us the benefits and problems of the collective socioeconomic system. There is no choice; if your population is large – you MUST use the capitalist system with its freedom of the individual and with its confinement of risk-taking to the individual.
And do these people seriously think that we fragile humans have the power to Stop The World – and prevent climate change? I usually ask people, who think that the climate is forever stable, and any changes are due to and only to Evil Mankind – if they could tell me the ratio of the natural causes of climate change as differentiated from the ‘man-caused’. Silence. They seem completely unaware that the climate has always, naturally, been changing…
The ideological premises of the ‘Great Reset’ provides these elites with a pseudo moral cover for a massive power grab thereby permanently entrenching class positions and the end of social mobility for competitive risk takers.
Reduce competition by reducing the population substantially after all ordinaries are unworthy of procreation.
The dominant delusion is that of control. Having control, restricting membership of their elite club, denying ordinary people the same rights and freedoms they will enjoy is premised on their belief that because they are more intelligent, they are entitled and obligated to make decisions for us. They believe they are superior in every way because they have enormous wealth! Helpfully forgetting that luck (Machiavelli’s Fortuna), inheritance, outright theft and rigging the system played a role. The elites can’t take the risk that their average intelligence princelings might end up poor/powerless!
A shocker on page 58/59 intellectuals that are driven by greed pretending to be in search for the scientific truth, Treason of the intellectuals, describes academia perfectly.
“Foundations that provide the large sums of money for the almost exponential growth of think tanks, institutes, and university centres to provide the intellectual capital and legitimacy for the transition (a new treason of the intellectuals).“

There is more to the story than hockey stick curves. The progressives talk a good story as they line their pockets, rape the planet and leave populations destitute. The Great Transformation/Reset amounts to more +++ of same by the same actors.
The Club or Rome and World Economic represent the plantation owners. The whole Green agenda comes from the top down. Long ago they saw the money in Green. They’ve been softening up the populace to make the sacrifices going back to the 70s. They are also invested in oil. Think ROYAL DUTCH SHELL. Oil will remain a necessary evil but good oil like Shell will pay indulgences and repeat its mea culpas for its sins vs. bad oil like Alberta’s to be banished to the wayside. Alberta serves as the scapegoat.
People need to get over their obsession with jobs. They should get to the front of the line for the money handouts like the elite rentier class.
What about the comment that this movement deliberately keeps its terminology vague and undefined to hide its agenda? That it uses the term ‘progressivism’ to hide the functional actions of socialism and communism within its agenda? And that it promotes ‘keeping the people satisfied so they won’t rebel’.
The author writes:
” There are other social movement elements that comprise “progressivism” such as preference of the group
over the individual, the hierarchy of group identity, prominence of multiculturalism, proportionality as fairness, the redefinition of democracy, deconstruction of national symbols, and transnationalism as a framework for global rather than national citizenship, to name a few. ”
This sets up a two-class infrastructure, with the Rulers over the Ruled, who are deprived of their fundamental nature as human beings; namely, the capacity to think and act as individuals. Notice how it rejects the Magna Carta, how it rejects the Declaration of Independence [and the fundamental rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness] and governance by, for and of the people. How it focuses on manipulation of thought and behaviour.
Will it work? No. Biologically, we are material entities not cloudlike images; therefore we are not ‘global’; we live in neighbourhoods to which we are materially connected. Psychologically, we are individuals – who have emotions of greed, envy, love and etc. Do these naive and ignorant people think that corruption won’t slip in, almost instantly? Economically – it’s impossible. Can you imagine – they think that capitalism has only been around 150 years? Do they know nothing of the Reformation; of the enormous economic and population changes of the 14th and 15th centuries?
Frankly- it’s almost too infuriating to read.
Will it work? No. Biologically, we are material entities not cloudlike images; therefore we are not ‘global’; we live in neighbourhoods to which we are materially connected.
It will not work if there is a free USA or a Galt’s Gulch to which to go. They note in the earlier sections that it’s started at the EU and that the goal is to get the US and Canada to sign on. I’m sure they want Australia and New Zealand to join also. China is already a communist nation. How many other of the world’s powers have people that expect freedom and prosperity of the sort that we’ve come to expect since WW2?
I’ve heard that Despotic Totalitarianism is the default culture of humanity. We’ve had a couple of centuries where some people got to try other systems. Totalitarians killed over 100M people in the last century for for the “crime” of not being the right type of people or not thinking/doing the correct things. Why do you think they will suddenly stop using the cleansing power of mass murder? Why, your best friend who is always with you (cell phone) will keep track of you and report on your every communication!
C_Miner – my view of why ‘it’ [global socialism/communism] won’t work is rather prosaic. Nothing to do, unfortunately, with the US – which is a key example of the constant fight-for-freedom. It’s based on population dynamics and biology.
First – every living entity is ‘localized’; that is, it lives in a local, material environment to which it adapts. This is valid not merely for plants, insects, animals but also humans. We exist in direct interaction with our local environment and its people/plants/climate etc. This can’t be ignored; we don’t live ‘just in the imagined ideas in our minds’. We live in local reality. It’s fascinating to see how, biologically, a species will mutate to diversity rather than homogeneity. And how about language? How is it that the SAME language diversifies into different accents and vocabulary such that people will say: ‘Oh- you are from East London; and you are from Liverpool..etc. Therefore the utopian purely intellectual notion of ‘let’s all be global’ – is pure nonsense. Psychologically, economically – it won’t work.
Second – is population. No, ‘despotic totalitarianism’ isn’t the default system. But, a two-class system has been the most common socioeconomic system, where you have the small set of usually hereditary Rulers and the equally hereditary large set of The Ruled. It works quite well for a no-growth, no-change society. It’s strength is: stability. It’s weakness is – it is totally unable to adapt and change, since it rejects individualism and freedom of thought. It can’t deal with large growing populations. Only no-growth.
So – when population increases beyond a critical threshold, then the old technologies, the old ways of providing food etc no longer work. And that requires change – which requires a free so-called ‘middle class’, which is an open-entrance class where everyone is an individual, free to do whatever, an entrepreneur, innovative etc. Result – an exponential growth in economic wealth, capable of providing for larger populations. The two-class system doesn’t have the capacity for innovation.
We must fight to ensure that WE, the People, retain these freedoms. And that the right-to-make-laws doesn’t pass to the unelected or the singular ruler or… For example, Biden is behaving as a dictator right now, making over 30 new laws, without input from The People [Congress] – He is ignoring our rights to make our own laws!
sorry ET, but I have to disagree with you. The locality does define where/how one lives, but only if there are external alternatives. If there is no beacon of light on a hill, how can one dream of escaping a work-14-hours-days-until-you-die? If there’s nothing known beyond your life of individual toil, then what meaning could freedom have? That’s a key feature of the caste system, you can never escape the fate to which you were born.
Second point, I mostly agree. The elites are looking for a not growth society. They’re on top now, and intend to stay there. I think our key point of disagreement is what happens when the population tries to grow beyond the current. The twentieth century taught us that the socialistic (in name, not deed) totalitarians have no problem with killing tens of millions. I see no reason for the current totalitarians to deal differently. They’re already trying to declare the inhumanity of Trump and his followers and other enemies of the state. As a student of history you should know what comes next.
Whether they are troubled with what they think they must do, I urge you to read the report. They’re trying to save humanity. So what if they have to kill half of current humanity to do it? The “right” ones will survive, and prosper. Making omelettes requires breaking eggs. Their omelettes, our eggs.
“Hic”, a toast to Ken the Kulak! I didn’t always agree with him, but found him a font of experience and wisdom. They aren’t always found together, but I tried to never discount his words because I knew that if there was a misunderstanding, it was because I didn’t understand. RIP my online friend.

With regard to what I consider the biological and psychological fact that we live ‘locally’, ie, physiologically and emotionally rather than only intellectually- I will stand by that claim. If you are not connected, first, to local realities – then you have moved into dementia or schizophrenia or some other mental pathology. This most certainly does not deny the vital force of imagination in our lives. To live without imagination of ‘What would it be like if…’ – is equally pathological. The power to imagine is the basis, of free thought – and innovation.
As for your suggestion that the elites can escape the necessity for change, by keeping the population below its critical threshold – this was the norm in Europe for centuries, [not necessarily a conscious action by the elites] where wars for resources, ..and..plagues, famines, death from poor nutrition were the norm. But these cycles of population control eventually ended, with the growing rebellion by some and the growing awareness by even more – and such documents as the Magna Carta, such tactics as the printing press and..so on, all from about the 13th through 16th c and on…meant that the elites no longer had the power to prevent freedom and capitalism.
As for whether the elites are troubled by millions of deaths – not in the least. We see how easy it is to dehumanize ‘the deplorables’ and how easy it is to blame the victims. But I maintain that even these verbal crimes and the establishment of a Fictional World [their rhetoric of purity] can’t keep a corrupt system in power for more than a generation. We see the rise of an entrenched corruption in Washington [the Obama Gang back in power] as they manipulate things via their puppet-on-a-string, Biden.
But I still maintain that Reality is more powerful than Fiction – and it becomes too costly, takes too much energy to maintain the Corrupt Elite… Look at the fact that they are now governing by fiat, by executive order and ignoring Congress – and have the National Guard in Washington, to protect them! And Pelosi is talking about more guards! That too will reach a critical threshold.
from Page 29 of the report:
…In an interview with Anne McClellan for the Canada 2020 Global Progress Recovery Project, Minister for Natural Resources, Seamus O’Regan, who also happens to represent Newfoundland, praised the streamlining of the regulatory process so that instead of going through years of assessment, as the western Canadian energy projects must, the environmental impact reviews of Atlantic offshore projects can now be completed within 90 days…..the reality is that some fossil fuels will be necessary in the short to mid-term and the preference, it would seem, is that this will predominantly come from outside of Alberta, outside of the oilsands. Evidence of this can be found, not only in the lack of assistance for the western Canadian petroleum industry, but also in the delay in Cabinet approval of a proposed natural gas pipeline loop between Northern Alberta and Northern B.C….
You all got it all 100% wrong on the beginnings of Green Communism. The Great Reset and all of what we have been seeing and living through began with Pierre Trudeau and Maurice Strong and Power Corp. All facilitated and paid for through you the taxpayer and the NGO’s at the UN.
Maurice Strong and Michail Gorbachev, were life long Communists. And they saw the environmental movement as the tool to advance Global Communism not Red Communism but GREEN Communism.
https://fort-russ.com/2020/11/maurice-strong-and-the-roots-of-the-great-reset-agenda/
Exactly. I have my own copy and plenty of relevant, saved old web resources on the subject. Read a bunch of this dreck loooooong ago. It’s just re-hashed Strong-pap with some fancy dancey new word salads and some new faces. Note the plaintive fly in the ointment of all this blather. CHINA. They aren’t playing. They won’t have to lift a finger, or fire a shot, just move right in when society collapses here. Cliff, meet lemmings.
I got as far as page 105, then quit.
I only read a short bit of the report before I did an internet search on this thing and, just as I suspected, there are dozens of sites denouncing the report as debunked crackpot conspiracy-theory nonsense propagated by discredited liars and charlatans. Many of them using the exact same words and phrases. Once they start in with the “debunked” and “discredited”, well, that tells me pretty much all I need to know.
I’ve checked as well, but only found two sites – and no mention of ‘discredited liars and charlatans’ or ‘debunked crackpot conspiracy theory’. The two sites reject totally getting rid of fossil fuels but, accept AGW – but reject the ‘global cabal’ agenda to transform the world.
However, I think the ideology of the report – with its focus on socialism, anti-capitalism, climate change, globalism, anti-individualism, anti-private ownership, multiculturalism, group identity, etc – is very much part of the public agenda of the ‘progressives’ [Democrats, Liberals, etc]. Equally, the political methodology of ‘giving them enough to keep them quiet’ is also a common tactic.
Therefore, I don’t think that either this ideology or this agenda can readily be dismissed.
I make four points, number of point, starting with my most basic observation. On this SDA blog, this blog-entry will quickly move downwards such that few will bother to read it after a few days. So I encourage all SDAers to bookmark this study, and to read it on the weekend when people have some time (I am thinking of our working people here). Not only does Dr. Nemeth document the international plans for the post pandemic future, he integrates into it the past, where the major economic and political power centres have been planning for a corporate/lobby group/government dominance of the world economy for some time. Trump disrupted this process for four years — hence the vicious anger directed against him — but now the long-term move can proceed again.
First, What can SDAers do, after reading the report? Research the various Canadian institutions, big and small, who are using their economic clout to “decarbonize” the economy, i.e., to destroy the Western Canadian energy industry. For example, I am writing up a short paper (so far no publisher) on how Export Development Canada is funding business in China during Kovrig and Spivor’s two-year captivity ($77-million according to my math). But looking at the EDC’s web page, this crown corporation is undergoing a program to phase out all loans and guarantees to companies in the non-renewable sector. I imagine this is going on throughout our federal government. When an SDA reader finds something like this, post it on the SDA readers’ tips.
Second, what Dr. Nemeth writes about, as I said, is the continuation of the international agenda spurred on by the Obama/Biden administration, and will continue forward under Biden/Harris. This will be to internationalize the economy into freer international trade, with freer movement of investment capital and labour (the latter through open borders). This process leads, in western society, to the destruction of freedoms, jobs, families, churches and communities — the main reason why the Trump got started. True, the Democrats and international elites have other ways to destroy these fiver fundamental pillars of our society (e.g., legalizing violent crime to destroy communities), but the main agenda has been the most effective. Running parallel with this agenda is steadily increasing income inequality.
Third, the destruction of western Canada’s energy sector is prime on the above agenda, since it places the economies of western Canada — particularly Alberta and Saskatchewan — into existential question. Society on these two provinces will be effectively destroyed — they will have just agriculture, tourism and a bit of forestry and mining to rely on, and nothing else. Alberta and Saskatchewan will become as they were before World War II. It has been said that, if, in a disagreement, one side threatens the very existence of the other, then the threatened side will resort to violence and other extreme solutions to preserve its existence (labour collective bargaining theory says this).
Fourth, to prevent this, western Canada must undertake fairly radical measure to preserve its existence. I have argued that more effective lobbying and organizing must take place. I take it this is what the Alberta government has in mind in tabling these papers. If the Alberta government doesn’t do anything with these studies, then westerners ought to join and support the Wexit parties, both federally and provincially.
.
Honestly None of this can be fixed by talking, or litigating or smart campaigns etc. It is rapidly coming to the point that plainly and simply Alberta has to go.
And as they leave they have to demand all their CPP funds and UI funds and every dime owed to us in Alberta.
And Alberta has to remove all of Ottawa’s control and Influence by declaring a UDI. No Treaty’s no more talk no more contracts.
Shut down all rail and road traffic east and west. Shut in all pipelines going east or west and slam the door on Canada.
” It is rapidly coming to the point that plainly and simply Alberta has to go.” I agree with that. They may not be successful, but they should at least create a big stink before being buried by the “progressive” interests. The report gives solid grounds for the claim that Alberta is getting screwed by progressives, the government, foreign interests and the bought and paid for media — all helping things along. Time to get out from under.

Daivd Murrell – thanks for this review. The author rejects trying to sideline the Nemeth Report as ‘bunk’ or ‘conspiracy junk’ – because he notes that the issues and topics of globalist agendas, anti-fossil fuel cabals etc are public and hardly secret or unknown.
Yes. The number of citations in the report is staggering. This is well researched.
Having read both reports..
1 – These are very well done. They seem well reasoned, well researched, and very clearly written without a hint of ranting or raving.
2 – The fundamental statement is that some very large and significant financial and political players have been engaged in a world wide effort to bring about their preferred style of government and are now on verge of achieving it. That goal is to end capitalism but has been sold to the public as a response to the threat of climate change and to many of their own supporters as using the threat of climate change to achieve progressivist government (socialism).
3 – (my view, not in the two reports). In reality.. the conflict is always between those who view all individuals as responsible for their own choices (Christianity, The American founders, Trumpism) and those who see the majority as the property of those who hold power – and see themselves as holding that power (Islam, socialism, democrats today). This conflict is very long term, but the specific terror driving these people to bring that conflict forward in the years since about 1955 is Malthusian: the club of rome, end of resources, too many people, nonsense (see my telearb.net site) – thus the long term goal is a feudal system dividing the world into lords and peasants, but the selling driver for both the climate hysteria outer wrapper and the progressivit inner wrapper is is the unmentionable view that there are far too many people and billions need to die – soon.
4 – so the question is: nice report, now what?
The “what” is simple and brutal: assassinations.
I’m not advocating, of course, but here’s Mark Carney, “Firms that align their business models to the transition to a net-zero
world will be rewarded handsomely. Those that fail to adapt will cease to exist.”
Its not difficult to argue that the people who own/work for those companies could cease to exist as well as far as he/them are concerned.
Alberta needs to know it is at war. The shooting just hasn’t started yet.
Basically, we have been at war since the NEP and PET The First.
Page 29 – From a Global Grid Conference held in Vancouver 2019:
“The Chinese plan would see the countryside of Alberta and Saskatchewan
covered in windmills and solar panels with UHV transmission lines delivering power to more
populated areas in the east, and south to the US.”
Well I read it. Most of this is not new to me because I have been following the story. Having quite a bit of background training inn stats I once made a comment about the problem with the models and found myself roundly silenced. At this point I began my own investigations. What is good about the report is it hits all the major points. It lays everything out in plain English and it precisely described the problem, which is the progressive creep of communism.
The question I must ask is now what? What is to be done with this excellent report? How do we get anyone to listen? I have been talking about this well over a decade and no one has ever listened.
I am going to amend that. This represents the first time I have seen a government, any government, even hint this is not a major problem. Even Trump only skirted the issue. He never confronted it head on like this does. So maybe that is something new and represents a big improvement. Maybe it’s not hopeless.
I have to agree. I have read this before, and thought it was tinfoil-hat territory. I’m saddened / terrified to be wrong.
Honestly None of this can be fixed by talking, or litigating or smart campaigns etc. It is rapidly coming to the point that plainly and simply Alberta has to go.

Bring it to a head.

Here is my rebuttal to Martin Olszynski of University of Calgary Faculty of Law – who also tried to denigrate and dismiss the reports as conspiratorial nonsense. https://blog.friendsofscience.org/2021/01/28/avoiding-the-evidence-tar-sands-campaign-denialism-an-open-letter-response-to-martin-olszynskis-submission-to-the-public-inquiry-into-anti-alberta-energy/
Likewise, specific to Alberta, here is the Tar Sands Campaign – in their own words.

Comments welcome.
finally read all of it.
My eyes are tired.
Good report and for a Provincial Government body to table it is actually unprecedented bravery in todays Bureaus.
We may be misjudging Kenny’s resolve.
Lays it all out.
Alberta has been and is continually under attack.
Ideology leads the hostility toward every citizen who believe in their own judgement.
For these are power hungry zealots.
Also highlights the treason toward Alberta by the federal Government and the collusion of the lapdog media.
Who,as we should all remember, have been orchestrating this narrative for decades.
The lying scum even signed up with Elections Canada to campaign against the Harper Conservatives while failing to disclose their partisanship to their stupid viewers.
And we do not even need to read their emails, remember those?,to know they shape the narrative above the facts.
Being rather stupid ideologues they all use the exact same talking points, facial expressions ,hell word for word duplication..So original.
Next?
The Provincial Loyalists will refer to this report a lot, amuse themselves mocking Presstitutes who will never actually read it,and proceed to the next pillar of the Eastern Kleptocracy..
For if we cannot agree with where we are right now,we cannot chart a path to where we want to be.
We have the wealth to develop the Oil Sands ourselves if we wish, but not if the Provincial/New Country government does it.
Perhaps by tax exempt shares in the process.
As should Gang Green succeed in their madness, any oil producing country will have a huge advantage over the economies controlled by The Gangrene International.
The citizens will have affordable energy and freedoms incomprehensible to the controlled regions and the price of oil sold to those who hate oil but cannot live without it,will reach levels obscene..For we will need to be paid in real goods or gold..not one fiat currency will be worth its weight in toilet paper.
This report and those to follow it ,will simply layout the corruption and evil of those seeking to cripple Western Canada,do not ignore BC for the War of the Woods was a trial run of this same treason, propaganda and foreign influencing.
For a successful declaration of Independence requires a majority of Western Citizens to understand the malice and contempt in which they are held by these manipulators.
Confederation is a Con..Git along Bessie,the Milkcow.
There is a reason Canada, particularly the West, has always been a branch economy.
We get sold out, just as we start to see a return on our investments, every time.
So is UPC or a separatist vote the way to go? I’m not sure how much credence to give the UPC. The local representative, well versed in the energy industry, stepped aside or was punted before the election to let a woman-of-colour (with a very different background) run instead. I want a solid, sober voice for our dominant industry, not another voice for multiculturalism.
You raise good points, but where are you advising we go in the real world?
The report doesn’t put things in a historical perspective. Gerald Butts deserves more than a passing reference.
Ten years ago the oil barons were giddy at the prospect of oil sands output doubling. Butts as CEO of the WWF (Canada) convinced them that dollars could be made green washing the industry. They built wind farms in Ontario to pay their sins and the WWF ended its smear campaign against the oilsands. The wind farms keep churning out hefty profits cuz of government price guarantees but they lament the demise of capitalism. What happened in the 10 year interval since the giddy days? Trudeau got elected (with help from foreign funded environmental groups) with Butts as his right hand man. Reading between the lines, the oil barons had rubbed Butts the wrong way and now it was payback time. Plus it made for smart politics to kibosh the oil sands and the plantation owners are OK letting the oil sit where it is. There’s more money to be made going green.
PS.
Butts also lay the groundwork in Ontario for the construction of those Alberta owned wind farms when working for the Ontario Liberals.
The Club of Rome and the World Economic Forum are not communist. They are fascists applying a liberal sprinkling of socialism to make their offerings more enticing .
There are more of us than them by orders of magnitude.
Just say no. Loudly and often.
Page 44 (paraphrasing)…everything depends on the election…it will look like Donald Trump is winning but when all the votes are counted he’ll lose..the fix was in long before election night
