Y2Kyoto: Say It Isn’t So, Qiáo!

Biden’s first act in office is to end America’s energy self-sufficiency.

Speaking at the White House Tuesday night, Press Secretary Jen Psaki confirmed President Biden will follow through with campaign promises to ban new fracking on federal land.

“President Biden promised to end all new oil and gas leasing on federal lands when was a candidate,” a reporter asked. “Does the administration still have that commitment today? To end that lease?”

“We do and the leases will be reviewed by our team we just have only been in office for less than a day now,” Psaki said.

Earlier Tuesday, Biden signed an executive order placing the United States back into the Paris Climate Agreements, despite the country reducing emissions without being in the global agreement. He also revoked permits for the Keystone XL pipeline, eliminating 11,000 jobs and destroying $2 billion in wages.

Everything is going according to plan: China’s coal output rose last year to its highest since 2015, despite Beijing’s climate change pledge to reduce consumption of the dirty fossil fuel and months of disruption at major coal mining hubs.

Flashback: In Oct, @GlennKesslerWP gave it 4 Pinocchios for the Trump Campaign saying that Biden will end fracking.

  1. Terence Corcoran in yesterday’s National Post equated China’s coal production to 20 billion barrels of oil. Keystone XL at 800,000/day is not in the same league.

    1. Terrence Corcoran lost most of his credibility over the last four years. His TDS was pretty severe. Now for him to start crying is pretty rich.

      1. So called ‘TDS’ is a pre-req for having any credibility particularly in economics. Your tribe/cult is not his imperative.

  2. In other news, thousands perish of covid while Biden eliminates their jobs and raises their fuel prices.

  3. My favorite thing in the world is that Biden has committed to distributing vaccine to poor countries (starting now). That’s right, vaccine will be shipped to s-hole countries while Americans will wait for theirs. A thing of absolute beauty.

  4. When Pervert Joe signs back on to the Iran deal and sends Hunter there with more skids of cash, perhaps a deal can be made to buy oil from Iran.

  5. Canada’s biggest competitor for oil production just mimicked the Butts / Spawn brain-trust in shooting its self in the foot. Good news for oil pricing. Vlad must be giggling about it too. Good news for the rail business too. They just can’t help themselves in screwing the working stiffs while boosting equities. All to appease the green theologians and their mindless drone flocks.

  6. His first foreign power act will be to pressure Australia into accepting China”s terms in their trade dispute, to avoid the Chinese navy blockading Australian shipping. That would be an act of war, but given that the Chinese now own the US government, there would be “unfortunate consequences” for Australia.

The world MSM will hail Biden as a genius for smoothing over Cina-Australia tensions. The US under this fraudulent government is now the free world’s enemy, and MUST be dealt with as such.

I expect an Israel-US-India-Egypt nuclear defence pact to emerge soon, aimed squarely at the US-Iran-China Axis of Evil.

  7. There is nothing to get angry about.

If cities can ignore immigration laws (sanctuary cities/states), then they can ignore federal laws on wages, drilling, imports. Anything they want to. When law enforcement becomes selective, then there simply is no law. Just use what they gave you.

Just call yourself a sanctuary state for drilling.

  8. When does the Paris Climate … “Agreement” … become an unconstitutional Treaty? Answer: When taxes and fees are levied to PAY the third world benefactors.

    1. Given that the U.S. is now in freefall as far as enforcing laws, I don’t doubt that Bidumb and his Ho will attempt to return to the Paris deal, but it isn’t binding unless 2/3 of the Senate vote for it.

  9. And China doesn’t even have to begin thinking about reducing emissions until 2030. Probably will triple them by then.

Not that they have any intent in ever reducing them.

  10. Anxiously waiting for Brother Biden to graciously announce that all POC affected by the job losses will be eligible for up to $600/month. Government infrastructure projects to include thousands of new overpasses throughout the country for Americans to live under.

    1. I don’t even trust the traffic reports from these clowns anymore. Lying is their natural condition, not the exception.

  11. If Canada was a smart, well functioning nation, it would build pipelines and refining facilities so that it was petroleum self sufficient. It could then sell the surplus to the U.S.

I expect Justin to announce such an initiative any second now (checks watch).

  12. This is not ‘banning fracking’ or ending energy self-sufficiency. While a stupid policy, it won’t affect fracking on private lands. Further, the large companies have acquired a nice stockpile of permits.

If Trump weren’t a moron, he would have privatized the lands.

    1. So Trump could have made things better by forcing future governments to abide by the rules he enacted. Thanks for noticing that his policies with regards to public land were good, and that Biden is already destroying wealth in the US.
