2) Masks don’t prevent infection, and make things worse for the wearers
3) Social distancing has no basis in science
4) Deferred diagnosis/surgery will most certainly lead to worse outcomes
5) Lives and businesses are being destroyed due to the policies of your government
6) Laws are not consistently enforced, with leaders often disregarding and making excuses.
7) There is no transparency backing decisions taken.
8) PCR testing was not intended to be used as a diagnostic tool.
9) Inappropriate testing (excessive cycling) leads to many false positives.
10) Testing ‘positive’ doesn’t necessary have you highly infected or infectious.
11) Having more positives when you ramp up the number of tests doesn’t suggest a worsening situation.
12) The coding of deaths as ‘COVID’ is suspect.
13) Why apply a sledgehammer when the vast majority of deaths are older age with existing comorbidities? Younger healthy people easily shake this off if they even notice that they’re not feeling well.

I seem to recall Douggie Ford had a loud cheering section here on SDA during the last PCPO leadership race… I guess those of us who knew back then that he didn’t have what it takes to be a true leader were right. And now the good people of Ontario outside the GTA cesspool are paying for that fecklessness.
You still have Ontario conservatives defending the guy (Brian Lilley, for example). Same thing with Kenney in Alberta. Ford and Kenney literally calling their own voters dumb and crazy and “conservatives” still carrying water for them.
No Liberal politician would ever do that to their voters. The left wouldn’t stand for it. I guess Canadian conservatives really are as stupid as the Torys think we are….

Except that good people outside of GTA, voted for Ford in a higher proportion than those in the GTA (and thank God they did). But hey, if facts don’t fit the narrative forget the facts.
In any case, Ford, with all his monumental undeniable faults is orders of magnitude better than McGuintyWynne junta. Had they been left in power things would have been orders of magnitude worse, think London UK/VictoriaOz/NZ bad.

The liberal governments can easily fulfil those things their core vote wants.

When conservatives vote, they get government that never seems to do those things their core vote wants.

Inevitable that after many missed opportunities the conservative core vote becomes discouraged they stop voting altogether leaving the field to the left.
