The Ford government is considering adopting an “immunity passport” to show who has taken a COVID-19 vaccine and will be eligible for certain activities once vaccination becomes widespread. The shocking comments were made by Health Minister Christine Elliott on Tuesday.
Elliott was being asked about vaccine distribution including convincing more people to take the shot once it is available.

Already questions on who can take this vaccine safely as at least half the population would have some underlying exemption including young children.
This vaccine is nasty and already a few people have had severe allergic reactions.
There were two severe reactions after thousands administered in Britain. That doesn’t qualify as “nasty”. By all means,people with previous severe allergic reactions should not take it and are being advised not to. That doesn’t exclude”half “ the population. We need the facts and risks about this vaccine but we don’t need false information, exaggeration and fear mongering. There will always be people allergic to certain products. This is nothing new.
You mean all the false information about COVID, the exaggeration about the effects and the spread, and the fear mongering about the exaggerated death tolls? I agree we didn’t need them, but we keep getting a daily dose of that crap whether we want it or need it.
And as to the effects of the vaccine, you need to be better informed about mRNA effects. Michael Yeadon, former Pfizer VP (yes, from the same company that is producing the vaccine with the allergic reactions) filed an injunction in Europe before these allergic reactions and listed that possible side effect, among others. So why didn’t Pfizer come clean to start with?

Others can evaluate their relative risks and make their own decision. I certainly would be worried about taking it when the producer has been granted immunity from prosecution.

You can bet that some businesses will require customers to show their vaccine passport before being allowed into their establishment. It’ll start as a trickle…a few here and there; then as it becomes “the norm” most businesses will require it. No need for government to mandate the vaccine…

If the vaccine works, everyone who is vaccinated has nothing to worry about and no need to know who hasn’t been vaccinated.
If it doesn’t work, avoiding, excluding, segregating people who haven’t been vaccinated won’t protect the vaccinated because they (the vaccinated) will still get infected by other vaccinated people.
