There is almost, even after millions voted, almost a 50/50 split in the divide. Were it even across that country, you could literally draw a dividing line down the center of the USA, give one side to the Trump advocates, and the other side to Biden advocates.
I feel deeply saddened by this outcome. That there are millions of voters, that from my perspective either were uninformed, ill informed, or didn’t care for a brash businessman who shook things up, and despite all the pressure against him, managed to get so much done in less than four years, and could have done a great deal more if he were to be re elected.
The imposition of Covid, caused a great schism, and rightly or wrongly, the country, heck, all of the west, was forced to curtail their economies. Yet even that has started to roar back again in the US. Despite all of this, Trump has been rejected by all the idiots that seem to have no clue how they will be affected by this abrupt change in government direction. It is the average Joe’s, and Josephine’s, that will be mostly affected. The rich, the swamp creatures, the one percent, they will see no real change, but those in the real America that work to pay the bills, to get through the month, and eat as well, and then do it all over again the next month, and the next, they, they are the ones that will be buried in the slow avalanche that is breaking loose. I perceived the Democrats, or at least the corrupt ones, were of a mind that if they didn’t eject Trump, they would “all hang” for their discovered and proven crimes and corruption. They went all out, and are still going all out, because they might as well cheat with gusto, because this really is for “all the marbles”. Even with the Biden crime family selling itself to China, for millions, and hinkey Burisma dealings in the Ukraine by Hunter Biden. Blatant in our face corruption, and still they voted to elect Biden. Sure there was a lot of suppression of this corruption, but you’d need to be living under a rock to not notice some of the stench.
Now, all the double dealing, the false accusations, the secret CIA and FBI fisa court Mueller investigations, and so on, all of it will quietly be swept under a large rug that already has a massive hump in it from past shenanigans and corruption. All the crooks in that putrid swamp are all breathing a sigh of relief, that they dodged a very real bullet, rope, or crowbar hotel. The graft and corruption will now not only motor on, they will jam the hammer down and go full speed ahead. I would also bet good money, that they will attempt to convict Trump and his family for anything they can make stick, for daring to stand up to the swamp, and make a real difference in America, and for America, and for America’s decent honest people.
If Trump loses, and it’s certainly looking like he will, we will all have a front row seat to the end of the world we know. The second was the First Step Act, a bipartisan criminal justice reform bill that includes provisions that have been advocated for years by liberal progressives (reducing mandatory minimum sentences, increasing rehabilitation programs, reducing the federal prison population), was supported by groups like the NAACP, and that would have been denounced as being “soft on crime” had it been signed into law by a Democratic president.
