This is like the disposable razors bs, first one, then two, then three , then four and now as many as SIX blades on your disposable razor, and they still don’t work as well as one good old Gillette blue blade did 50 years ago.
I’d suggest putting on one light mask made of duct tape, no viruses or germs will get past that barrier.

I switched to a full straightedge razor after Gillette told me almost 2 years ago I was too masculine, violent and toxic.

I now have 2 straightedges: a 5/8 hollow ground Boker King Cutter (classic folding design) and a Feather SS kamisori-style blade that uses tiny single-edge blades.
When used (carefully!) either of these give a shave far beyond my old Gillette Fusion, and allows me 2 full days before needing a new shave.
The Boker is an investment, as I had to buy a decent strop and some sharpening stones to keep its edge shipshape, and now I can hone it as sharp as I need.
The Feather kamisori uses blades sharper than anything on the planet and will leave some nice scratches if not used with ultimate respect. I tend to use this less than the full straightedge since I’ve got the hang of honing (and, paradoxically, the full straightedge is more forgiving and yields fewer cuts than the Feather) , but either will do a remarkably close shave, much better than the likes of any Gillette.
Hot lather shaving is now a nice “me time”, and shaving with a straightedge is relaxing and looks badass.
Didn’t mean to drone on about straightedge shaving but there ARE alternatives to giving your cash to woke companies who hold you in contempt.

Encountered a guy at the airport waiting to board his flight wearing a g-string as a mask, the reactions of both employees and passengers was entertaining.
During my last trip to and from my house in B. C., I saw two people wearing masks that made political statements.
One person wore one that said “F*ck Trudeau” and, then, there was the gentleman who had one that said “This mask is as useless as Trudeau”.

That won’t work when flying. A few weeks ago, I was threatened by the on-site Volkspolizei at the Edmonton International Airport with being barred from entering the main part of the building if my mask didn’t properly cover my nose.
And then there’s that infamous statement by WestJet (or, shall I say, WorstJet) that said that if one chose not to wear a mask, one chose not to fly with it.
How about getting the lancet and the other so-called scientific journals to publish the recent Danish study on whether masks are effective or not in combating covid. They journals refused to do so stating the Danish findings were “controversial”. One of the scientists involved in the study claimed it was deemed controversial because it likely did conform to the current narrative.
Putting on my own “Scientist hat” – whatever Tam, Trudeau, Fauci and others recommend. Do the opposite.

From masks are ineffective to triple layer. I did some research into masks. Even N95 allows about 5% of the virus through in or out of your lungs. Now add the bypass around the masks and they might reduce transmission but cannot eliminate transmission. Surgical masks are only for spray and mainly to protect the wearer. Synthetic fiber masks suck as gaiters actually aerosol the spray. It’s quite a list. The upshot (down shot?) is that Tam and Fauci were right in the beginning, masks don’t help much.
If you use SCBA or SABA with a fit test (as in the oil and gas industry) then at least you protect yourself.
The best the public might be able to buy is an N100 mask with a fit test. If you can buy one. Good luck.
I tried to wear a NIOSH certified 3M N100 filtering facepiece respirator with an exhalation valve on a WestJet flight. Flight attendant told me it was against company policy and to Wear a Cloth face mask. Supposedly the mask protects others from sneezes and coughs but they believe that the exhalation valve won’t. Pretty screwy rationale. The FFR gives better protection than the mask all things equal. If I sneeze with either one, aerosols could spill out in any event.Won’t be flying WestJet soon.

The town I do most of my shopping in has a mask bylaw.
Not once have I worn a mask and not once have I been stopped and asked to put one on.
The first few times I had a mask with me and was prepared to put it on but just out of habit i forgot. Now i just keep them in the truck in the event i get accosted and can just plead ignorance (look at the stupid squaw, forgot her mask!) but 8 months in and not a peep.

I wear mine so it just covers my mouth but not my nose. I haven’t mustered up the courage to go maskless yet and don’t know why because I don’t care if someone calls me out. A Karen hissed at me a couple of months ago for not wearing it properly but since then, nothing. One of these days – sooner than later – I’m going to say “F it!”
It would be nice if she would cite the study that justifies this, of course it would be nice if they could cite any double blind study that indicates a 1 layer mask has a positive impact.
But of course science doesn’t rely on positing a theory and verifying it any longer, science is now one opinion of an authoritarian.

I conducted a little experiment over the last few days. I walked into a store that has a very scented atmosphere. I won’t mention the name so as not to advertise for them. The scent is not really pleasant but I could walk in without being hectored about the mask bylaw. I waited a few days to get the stink out of my nose and put on a two layer mask. The business was just as stinky. I waited a few more days and tried a three layer mask. Still stinky. Hmmmm. So from my understanding of how things work one of the reasons we can’t smell a virus is it is too small to trigger a response in our nose. So if I can smell perfume without a mask then the particles of perfume are larger than a virus. Yet no matter how thick the mask was I could still smell the perfume. Hmmmm
I can’t breathe in a double layer much less a triple. I’ve had to walk out of stores and take off the mask to remain upright. This is all just outrageous.
