  1. And yet the Brit Labor Party leaders and union goons admit now that she was right.

  2. I always cheer up immensely if an attack is particularly wounding because I think, well, if they attack one personally, it means they have not a single political argument left.
    Margaret Thatcher

You cannot make an omelet without breaking some balls
    Margaret Thatcher

Freedom is not synonymous with an easy life. … There are many difficult things about freedom: It does not give you safety, it creates moral dilemmas for you; it requires self-discipline; it imposes great responsibilities; but such is the nature of Man and in such consists his glory and salvation.
    Margaret Thatcher

L- I predict the quotes that history will remember from said NDP MLA Malin Schmidt = a null set.

  3. Coming from an MP and a party premised on the politics of envy, resentment, and hatred, he is self-actualizing. This is someone from the LPC farm team (NDP) vying to be brought up to the big league as a back-bencher in the Spawn’s basic dictatorship. Call it an audition with Gerry Butts.

  4. Margaret Thatcher would have made this light weight soy boy cry. She’d of toyed with him like a cat with a mouse.
Notice as you read the replies another NDP lacky tweets old you tube clips of those mocking MT death. Classy bunch you’re leading there Rachel Notley. I’m sure the local Global and CTV CBC etc will be all over this tonight and tomorrow.

  5. “Margaret Thatcher takes the cabinet out for dinner. The waiter comes along and asks her what she will be eating tonight.
Margaret replies, ‘I’ll have the steak.’
The waiter then asks, ‘What about the vegetables?’
To which Margaret says, ‘They’ll have the same as me.'”

      1. Want to hear something even “funnier”?
Marlin Schmidt was the NDP Minister of Advanced Education for three years in Alberta.
        Three years.
In control of the education of every Alberta college and university kid.
So funny I forgot to laugh.

        1. You mean that ministry went back to being “Advanced Education” again? About 20 years ago, I thought that Education and Advanced Education were merged and called “Learning”.

Oh, for the days of Ralphie again…..

  6. I can understand conservatives having this kind of contempt for socialists, but you’d think a parasite would have a little more appreciation for it’s hosts.

  7. This son of a bitch is going to hear from me tomorrow morning.
    Edmonton Gold Bar riding. Noted.
    POS.

  8. I supply taught in a classroom years ago where a “teacher” had taped a caricature of MT as a rat behind his desk. Sadly, it disappeared that day…..maybe the tape dried up and it just fell off. We’ll never know.
Thatcher’s death is celebrated because she defeated these parasites thoroughly. She didn’t compromise or meet them partway as some conservatives insist on doing. She beat them and their pathetic philosophy.

      1. Big time we could use a Thatcher right now.
Unfortunately, last October we might have had that option with Bernier. Don’t laugh; read his platform.
There are a few similarities between those two persons as doctrinally conservative.
        Not pixie CPC blue farts

        1. The latest CPC leadership popularity contest proves how staged this coronation will be.

        2. I actually roused myself to vote for the first time in several years that last election. The PPoC was actually the first time in years there was an actual choice on the ballot. There was a Libertarian party candidate one time, several years ago, gave that one a vote because the opportunity was there.

Haven’t seen a Christian Heritage candidate in years. But, since wikipedia does not call them “far” right, clearly not worth considering anyway.

National Citizen’s Alliance, will have to keep an eye out for them; wiki/CBC/National Post/Global/CTV has them listed “extreme/far/hard” right, so that means they are good.

Just always do the opposite of what CBC says.

Canadian Nationalist Party, also listed as “far” right, clearly they must be doing something correctly.

        3. I am not laughing ray, I gave Max and his party financial support and would like to see some true conservative thought return to this country. We have been doing things the same way all my life and it ain’t working.

      2. OWG…

That my friend is for Damned sure.
In fact, one with the balls of a Pinochet.
Communist Bits of Shit like this one, deserve Nothing but derision and plenty of Karma….

  9. Celebrating if not causing or executing the deaths of rivals is the neo-Marxist way.
They’re all cowards and so is this Fuckface.

  10. The CPC has a history of mediocrity. Even the much vaunted Stephen Harper was more a place holder. The absolute inability of the right to communicate a coherent message to the citizens condemns us to a ever faster descent into poverty. People see no reason for investment in the future and thusly have no vested interest in the future health of the country. I have left the CPC after 48 years and will vote Wexit from now on.

    1. CT, Canadians don’t want to be told that they have to work for their daily bread, most want free stuff from other people taken from those people by the government. Canadians are majority left wing socialists and it will not take much to turn them into full fledged communists.

  11. “In fairness, I feel the same way about Tommy Douglas.“
Hear! Hear! Exactly when will the “tolerant left” disown and cancel that advocate of eugenics, Tommy Douglas?

  12. I’m just trying to figure out the timeline for this clip. In his Twitter profile, he claims to be the Advanced Education Minister. Another delusional leftard.

    1. He WAS Minister for Advanced Education from Feb. 2016 to April 2019. For “some reason”, surely baffling to the sage Mr. Schmidt, his party’s government was bounced from office. Now he is a back-bench NDP MLA.

  13. Prime Minister Thatcher was everything feminists wanted, but at the time, as today, they despised her even more than conservative men. She destroyed feminist argument by her very being.

I found out how much she was despised because my girlfriend at the time was studying literary criticism at McGill’s English department, her and her friends hated Thatcher.

I dodged a bullet when she went for graduate studies at the U of T, she became so enmeshed in Womyn’s studies she decided to play for the other team…

    1. I dodged a bullet when she went for graduate studies at the U of T, she became so enmeshed in Womyn’s studies she decided to play for the other team…

That sounds almost like someone I was enamoured with while I was a freshman. I wasn’t happy when she dumped me back then, but I didn’t have a crystal ball, either.

The bullet I dodged was this. It turned out that she became quite the leftist, something I hadn’t suspected when I knew her. Then again, she studied education, so I shouldn’t have been surprised. Ah, but there’s more. She was also a Dipper spokesthingy and a pro-“we wuz here first” nations advocate.

Her dumping me saved me the cost of a divorce lawyer.

    1. They usually do. For some reason the Alberta United Conservative government seems to think that maybe they should stay at work. Some sort of minor crisis is apparently happening at the moment.

  14. UK lefties used to mock MT in her declining years, for mentioning her husband and then weeping when reminded that her husband was dead. In fairness, whenever anyone reminded me Denis Thatcher was dead, I used to weep too.

  15. N for Never.
    D for Done.
    P for Paying.
Duh vote NDP get another free parasite at your door.
I wonder how long the NDP voters will take to realize ,there is a free lunch?
They are being used to provide the Liberals with one.
After the continuous reign of Horvath in Ontario, who single handedly enabled the Liberal theft, followed by The current federal NDP seamlessly sharing power with Emperor Justine, you would think the useful idiots might see a pattern..
But they are good wee socialists,The “Best Educated People ” in the world, well according to them.
Suckers, those that are not career parasites infesting a bureaucracy, are just good old fashioned Suckers.

Funny how comfortable they are with their hatred of Jews and just about anyone else who provides the sustenance they steal.
    Just like they are entitled.

    1. Yeah, but the Raptors will be playing soon, and the Jays and the beaches are fine down on Centre Island and dope is leeeeegahl. Oh, houses are hot again.
      The calm before the CRASH.

  16. Following one of Margaret Thatchers electoral wins I wrote her a letter of congratulations. I promptly forgot about it but months later I got a little thank you card from her. She wrote a few words in it.

  17. So that means he was happy with her first term and winning the Falkland war?

  18. I wonder what the quote/letter from Thatcher was that he appears to agree with.

    Anyway a couple more:
    “We are a Grandmother…”
“As God once said, and I think rightly…”

” if the northern [Catholic] population want to be in the south, well why don’t they move over there? After all, there was a big movement of population in Ireland, wasn’t there?
Nobody could think what it was. So finally I said, are you talking about Cromwell, prime minister? She said, that’s right, Cromwell. ”
    (David Goodall, 2001)

  19. Anyone else notice the laughter during the first parts of his comments about her, and then at the very end there was the “Oh, @#*&” moment? (And I believe someone from the majority side calling for order.)

Taking a quick peek around the Alberta media, looks like it hasn’t made the news there at all.

    1. Replying to myself, I just watched the whole thing. He knew what he was doing. He quoted her quoting Clement Atlee in a letter to the editor in 1975 about referendums, then he made those comments in the tweet above. Order was called and the Deputy Speaker got right up, told him his comments were inappropriate and he needed to apologize and withdraw those remarks, and he gave a mocking chuckle and said to her, “Well, I guess I need to apologize and withdraw them.”

A bit later, one of the cabinet ministers got up and talked about referendums and threw Harold Wilson’s opinion on them out there.

      1. Thanks for the background. With Alberta’s recent luck, by the time the vote comes,
Alberta will be a have-not province.

  20. Anyone that appreciates language, and well spoken politics – should listen to Daniel Hannan’s tribute to Lady Thatcher: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pacQx9e8oAs

It is quite literally the best toast I have heard.

That NDP oaf is a spec upon the political landscape, that Lady Thatcher was a giant.

  21. I can’t wait until the day all left wing baby killers are rotting in HELL. Probably be 30 years too late for my liking.
