    2. Has twitter cancelled some tweets and videos if you have US IP address or use US VPN? I’ve noticed for the past week or so when using my VPN with as US IP address that many tweets, embedded pictures and videos appear as a solid colour block. However, when I switch to a different location I can then view it? I’ve done this via ios device as well as regular laptop so it is not a platform thing.

      Anyone else notice?

      1. I use Apple products and the only time I have seen this is when the country the IP represents does not hold rights to the content. However, you usually see a message indicating this. Other than clearing your Safari cache, nothing else I can suggest. I stopped trying to understand the digital world around the time I stopped trying to understand my daughters when they were teenagers.

    1. Apparently the race baiters are hard at making this another Floyd killing. The Twitter shares are pure trash. But, it had the effect, more burning and anger. These folks just want to be played like a fiddle I guess.

      Drunk, passed out, in a drive through line up. Removed from the vehicle and probably could not pass a field sobriety test. Resist arrest, take an officer’s taser, run away a bit and then turn to fire the taser at the officer. Officer shoots him, he dies. Somehow, this man is suddenly “unarmed” and “shot in the back running away” and I am sure he “was only sleeping in his car in the parking lot”.

      If the officer had been hit by the taser he would have been incapacitated, and then the guy would have had a gun, and we know what would have happened next.

      I also see the mayor of the city called for the firing of the officer. No investigation necessary, must be an expert on all thing police. I can foresee a few early retirements there. Less volunteers to join, and I can also guess that police will be second guessing every action. Better to let some punk ass criminal run away depending on the colour of his/her skin rather than take a chance and get killed because you decided to try and “de-escalate” the situation.

          1. One hopes TCM will survive the purge. It may be disappeared or the movies edited so badly as to make them not worth watching. Anything seems possible these days.

          2. TCM’s taken a definite leftward shift after Robert Osbourne died. For example, the program lineup this past Friday night consisted of alphabet people-themed movies.

  9. Taking down the statue of Johnny Reb in Norfolk, Virginia. Why?? Perhaps because an idiot in Portsmouth was vandalizing a Confederate statue, it fell on him, and he’s now in a coma. Keeping in mind that Johnny Reb was a fictitious character who represented all the Confederate fighting men in the Civil war.

  28. Post Millennial reports that Leftists tried to topple the statue of the founder of the Boy Scouts, until locals stopped them. Socialists wanted to remove the statue even though Powell was anti slavery. The statue is now boarded up to appease the leftists.
