  3. And just like that…cancelled. Perfect. Now do Hollywood. If you go see a movie with a white director you’re a racist. If you’re a white movie producer you’re taking a spot from a person of color. If you have a song in the top 40 you’re using your white privilege to keep the black people from having hits.

    Hey, if you used your white privilege to become a doctor, you need to immediately step down, otherwise you are of course a racist.

    This is how this needs to be framed for the liberals.

      I suppose that ‘react to racial injustice’ means react in an approved way, not pointing and laughing or anything like that.
      Or maybe it doesn’t.
      Maybe pointing and laughing at racial injustice against white people will be an approved reaction.

      I thought that this idiocy would begin to self correct as they ate their own, instead it seems to be snowballing.
      Part of it may be because the ‘leaders’ want to be bullied by the mob so they can cave and show how woke they are.

  6. I don’t recall Motown Records demanding the elimination of (whitebread) “The Beach Boys” and the reconstruction of Capital Records. Nope. Barry Gordy simply developed the Artistry of GREAT black singers and musicians and put it out to the public on his own record label. And because it was GREAT music … it thrived, and succeeded.

    Freedom and Liberty is TRUTH. Great Art is TRUTH. But there is an odious opposite to this … and it’s called “government” … and when government funding attempts to pick winners from among the losers … TRUTH circles the drain. I assume this Theatre receives most of its funding from the government.

  7. The people who finance this sort of thing are the financial and spiritual heirs of the people who saddled north America with a Negro problem in the first place.

    The white working class and peasantry never had any trouble making their own entertainment, and much better entertainment too, at a fraction of the cost of anything ever staged at that theatre.

    The burning of Persophone theatre to the ground (its return to her husband Hades as it were) would be a nine-day wonder for all but the rich idiots who pretend to enjoy modern theatre to impress women and business clients.

    When the rest of us can return to church, the elites can return to the theatre.

  8. I have spent some time in the inner city neighbourhoods of Saskatoon. I don’t recall ever hearing anyone speak of the Persephony theatre let alone bemoan the fact that they didn’t feel welcome there. (I’ve never heard anyone in my circle of friends and family speak of the theatre much either come to think of it!)

  9. The idea from here is wokeness wannabe doing their absolute best to outdo the fascist tyrants.

    The “artistic” director wanted to get ahead of the heap of bullshit. Did not work. Did not consult with the woke crowd as to how to say what he need to say, not what he want to say.
    In recent times it happened so many times, you begin to wonder that these directors, announcers and other such proclaimers got clobbered by the same low lives that they professed to admire.

    How is that for wokeness?
