    What gets me is that New Brunswick has slavishly enforced and obeyed strict social distancing, with strict border controls, etc. We have omly two or three Wuhan cases outstanding, and omly one death. Yet the CBC and other media give the pro-crime demonstrators a free ride to flaunt the rules. Yet no one complains.

    The Conservatives are fortunate in a way that they are in leadership election mode, they get a pass until that person is selected. If anyone cares what Scheer thinks about all this, he can make some ambiguous comment and pass the buck to the forthcoming new leader.

    If these protestors were crazy enough to storm the White House, Trudeau would be caught with much egg on face, making common cause with them. Whatever the results of that attempt might be (significant casualties seems to be the goal, control of the place would do them little good anyway) it would not be good optics for Justin Trudeau even with his protective media sycophants. But my analysis assumes that some significant number of Canadians have some common sense left, and that may prove to be flawed unfortunately.
