New documents filed under seal last week by the Department of Justice provide the clearest evidence yet that the investigation and subsequent prosecution of former White House National Security Adviser Michael Flynn was a set-up from the beginning. Handwritten notes from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) that had been inappropriately withheld from Flynn’s defense team for years show that a key goal of the agents investigating Flynn was “to get him to lie so we can prosecute him or get him fired.”
 

In early 2017, FBI agents planned to question Flynn under false pretenses and without his attorneys present regarding his conversations with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak. At the time of those conversations, Flynn was the top foreign policy adviser of the president-elect of the United States. By the time of the ambush FBI interview, Flynn had already been appointed as the White House national security adviser.

  5. Who has been well aware of this for 3 years? Who likely participated (off the record) in the process? Who, likely, fought the release of this information tooth and nail since its request back in early 2018?

    Well, the current acting Director of the FBI. That’s who. The same FBI Director held in high esteem by the current Attorney General (his technical boss).

  6. Truly, this kind of thing happens only in banana republics.

    Is the American bureaucracy that corrupt?
    If they can get to do this to a general and somebody serving the highest office in the country, can you imagine what they can do to the Joe on the street to keep him with the program?

    With anything left decent in the US government, they should bust those responsible and keep them in prison for a long time.
    Though when you think about it there is much more to it and some high placed political scum is shaking.

    Should be some interesting theatre once it gets going, like the 2 hour Bronco commercial by OJ.

  7. Now the first rocks have been pried loose from the redoubt and they’ve rolled downhill into the lake. Wait to see where the widening ripples touch….already there are murmurs of audiences and breifings inside the Obama White House of the Flynn frameup and the Steel Dossier contents, progress monitoring, so forth. A steady drip-drip all the way to November.

  8. Flynn’s lawyers were with the firm, that O’Butthole’s dick Holder had been with. So Holder was most likely involved behind the scene, and you can bet O’Butthole also knew then. Hey unDork, what do you have to say now????

    These bastards are traitors, and it goes all the way up to obungles.
    There is a lot of swamp needing drained.
