Not surprised, there was an op-ed in my local rag asserting they needed funding so they could continue to report on the Chinese flue. Really, now they’re being paid to scare the pants off the people, frankly I am sick of the over the top hysteria.

If the quaking cowards in the opposition parties would have done their job Canada wouldn’t need such a law. And the fact that they didn’t do their job doesn’t bode well for any such law ever seeing the light of day.

Call it the, “Independent Media Protection Bill”… a Bill that would make it illegal for Government to interfere in the business and content of established Media. Sink or swim… people either want it or they don’t and the Government can do noting to prop it up or buy it’s “loyalty”.
