The world of woke crossword-puzzlers – because that’s a thing that exists – is one in which enthusiasts, via social media, grumble about white men, bemoan the insufficient prominence of “queer or POC colloquialisms,” share “off-colour jokes about hypothetical titles for a Melania Trump memoir,” and fret about the exact ratio of male and female names used as clues. Because a lack of “gender parity” in crossword puzzle clues constitutes one of “the systemic forces that threaten women.”
In my circles, POC has long been an acronym for “ piece of crap “. A woketard would pass out cold and hit his head on something if he heard that.
Easy to solve.
Women, POC, trans, and or woke people can write and publish their own crosswords.
Perhaps a little challenging for the “give it free to me too” crowds.
When we could, days ago, get out to shop, we would by a dead-tree newspaper to do crossword and suduku puzzles. At Brunswick News, the crosswords are free from PC. For what it’s worth, Brunswick News hired a conservative, free-marketeer as its editorial and opinion editor three years ago.
There are lots available on line. I go to the Washington Post website, and print off copies of the LA Times crossword to do on breaks at work. I’m sure there are others available. LA times puzzle is pretty good Friday Saturday Sunday, but too easy earlier in the week.

I read the same thing … and of course … found that MY blood type A+ is the MOST susceptible to this flu. But the article was another exercise in dubious statistical analysis (the bane of our current existence). Approx. 34% of the population is A+ … yet A+ makes up 41% of Coronavirus patients (as of when only about 12k Americans had been tested). And the … ugggggh … “study” … found an even greater distinction for RH Factor +’s.
I SERIOUSLY believe we are DOOMED if we continue to allow shallow, meaningless, incomplete statistical analyses determine our policy. Take COVID-19 for example. We are allowing a “graph” to destroy our culture and economy.
Suffice to say … my FEAR … did not spike after reading this trash.
