Basically all CNN is doing this morning is hauling out old Obama officials, spreading panic and rant that Trump is doing nothing Meanwhile Doug Ford just had a press conference declaring a state of emergency. Of course the Unifor media were like attack dogs, accusing his health experts of being incompetent. One reporter even suggested that people will die because Ford is not doing enough. The same reporters will attend Blackie The Gay Virus King’s press conference later this morning, and worship at his feet.

  2. Since the US Election cycle in 2016, I have had NO respect for any of the media. To quote a friend from the 1980’s – “they are all sluts and jiggers (male sluts)!” This current round of Wuhan flu noise will die down when something new and shiny appears on the horizon. Just remember, just over 2 months ago, the news was all about the impeachment of Donald Trump. Now the media and the liberal elite (both American and Canadian) are trying to take President Trump down because of the Wuhan Flu (I will NOT call it “covid-19”).

      No it won’t, this is the last card, with any strength, they have left to play before the November Presidential election. A couple reasons being, 1)The Wuhan Virus is causing fear, fear can and will motivate voter turnout. 2)Trump and his administration have been portrayed as incompetent, an out of control virus will be used to emphasize that, even though Trump has done more and done it sooner than most leaders around the world, and most obviously PM Blackface. 3)The Wuhan virus is a complete distraction from the messy Democrat Primary campaign, if it wasn’t for the virus, Bernie and Biden would be the top story most days. 4) The Wuhan virus also keeps other items out of the news including, AG Barr’s investigations into FISA and other Obama admin miss deeds, and Hunter Biden investigations.

      Expect soon to hear Democrats and the media speculate that Trump will cancel the election to stay in power, because of the virus.

      The Wuhan Virus story isn’t going anywhere until after the election in Nov, unless this virus can be stamped out completely, in the next two months. This attack on Trump, could be the most dangerous to his re-election yet. All the other attacks on Trump had Democrat finger prints on them,,, this one really doesn’t, other than the hyperbole.

      1. I also forgot to add that, the DJIA is less than 2200 points away from wiping out all gains in the stock market since the Nov Presidential election of PDJT. That will be used heavily by Democrats and the Media.
        Yesterday the DJIA dropped nearly 3000pts.

        1. They’d say the same thing if the market had quietly slid into bear territory on its own. Market rises and declines are natural phenomena and the bull run of the past decade or so showed signs of losing steam.

          What happened in the past two weeks is a long way from being close to what it was like on Black Monday ’87, and that genuinely scared people back then.

  3. I have tuned it out … I will simply stay home as much as possible, binge some Brit TV, smoke some pot, eat some peanuts and M&Ms …. give me a call when the fan has been cleared of excrement..

      Yep…I’m ya with, minus at this time the pot (can’t be messing with a newly retro-fitted pump), will just replace with Grand Marnier…in small doses. Home anyway – not allowed to drive for another 3-4 weeks. Walk the dog, do the dishes, help the wife as best I can, dont touch any community surfaces barehanded, wash my hands religiously….and stream.! Stremio my preferred platform, although Kodi still has some uses. 75 years of movies to choose from.

    1. One can wonder why is this pill not used, even if it may not work in all cases.
      Is there a serious down side to taking it?

      Thing is that if there is no harm taking it, it should be used much like you take vitamins.
      If some think that the vitamins don’t work, ok, at least they do not harm.

      1. No serious downsides. The wife and I took it for two weeks as precaution before a trip to the tropics where malaria was endemic.

        1. If the Brits have disallowed this as an export, where does it come from? Do Canadian pharmaceutical companies have the ability to produce this en masse and if they do then why hasn’t the government hit the panic button and started on this measure, much like being able to issue iodine pills in the event of a nuclear problem.

      1. Thinking of getting some here in southern Mexico before we return as well.. Problem with tonic water is the sugar content, almost the highest in any soft drink.. Compared to the actual Quinine content, which is fairly low.. some people don’t like the taste, I actually love it, tastes like grapefruit, to me!
        Fun Fact: Quinine flouresces purple under a UV/Black light! Try it with your next gin and tonic!

        1. I think the quinine in tonic water is well below proper therapeutic levels. I was reading about it when my wife was pregnant two years ago, but I can’t remember for sure what all I read about it.

    Basically, since January 2017, the media have been blowing trivial problems out of proportion or simply inventing crises out of thin air for which Donald Trump was to be blamed, praying that something, anything would stick.

    This is what happens when the newspapers cry wolf for three years at a stretch.

  10. This morning on CBC they interview the CEO of Calgary Airport Authority about screening. They tried like hell to blame the Airport Authority for the lack of screening and not the Feds or Customs. The CEO was very diplomatic, tying to explain that its under the Federal jurisdiction not the airport, the EyeOpener Hack would have now of it and then tried to blame the airport for not dictating how people got home. CBC is such a joke.
