Another update. Prosecutors in charge of the federal case against Roger Stone may have lied to the Department of Justice about their lengthy prison sentence recommendation for Stone, according to a new report.
Well! an honorable Lawyer has a obligation to resign when the client (DOJ) has committed a false (Lied) Statement to be presented to the Court….When you know your client is a lying SOB…you don’t have any other choice…..
If this judge has any sense at all, he will declare a mistrial and see if the DOJ wants to try again.
My guess would be not.

Weasels. Media said earlier today that government lawyers were quitting in disgust or something, I was busy, didn’t catch gist of it, now I figure it’s probably these weasels they were talking about. Pathetic.

Weasel move…of which I applaud. My take on this is that they wanted Liu out of the DC State Attorney office. They couldn’t can her because in a previous attempt to get her out of that position they dangled the # 3 spot at the DOJ in front of her, but unexpectedly she removed herself from that nomination process to continue serving as gatekeeper on who gets investigated and indicted in DC. So, firing a minority female who was offered a promotion was not an option. So, they pushed her to Treasury…fill the DC State Attorney position she held, then pull her from the nomination process over at Treasury. Oops…
If you want to know why they did this compare any of the related cases she handled (Anwan, McCabe, Wolfe, Greg etc.) to the case of Reality Winner. Ms. Winner was not tried in the DC court system. They processed her case in Georgia…and she got the single most severe sentence ever levied on a crime of her type.
I think this is good news despite the nomination process having given an opportunity to the Banking Committee to ask some interesting questions of Ms. Liu. I am not convinced there is anyone on that Committee with the stones or the integrity to ask anything of consequence… (Tom Cotton included, who I used to think was a straight shooter).
Many others have done worse than Stone. The story is that Stone knows to much of what is going on in the deep state aka SWAMP. Jessie K Liu handed out the sentence to get rid of Stone ask her about James A Wolfe he is the leaker to the press re “Steele Dosier” he lied to the FBI and they gave him a slap on the wrist Jessie K. Liu did as she was told by the SWAMP leaders…she is part of the swamp!! The lawyers all quit because they knew the time is up and the SWAMP is being drained. She is also is involved with the FISA warrants. Trump was probably told of her Swamp dealings. Rod Rosenstein is evil and has a hand it this!
