The U.S. Attorney’s Office announced today that the Chair of Harvard University’s Chemistry and Chemical Biology Department and two Chinese nationals have been charged in connection with aiding the People’s Republic of China.
Dr. Charles Lieber, 60, Chair of the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology at Harvard University, was arrested this morning and charged by criminal complaint with one count of making a materially false, fictitious and fraudulent statement. Lieber will appear this afternoon before Magistrate Judge Marianne B. Bowler in federal court in Boston.
Yanqing Ye, 29, a Chinese national, was charged in an indictment today with one count each of visa fraud, making false statements, acting as an agent of a foreign government and conspiracy. Ye is currently in China.
Zaosong Zheng, 30, a Chinese national, was arrested on Dec. 10, 2019, at Boston’s Logan International Airport and charged by criminal complaint with attempting to smuggle 21 vials of biological research to China. On Jan. 21, 2020, Zheng was indicted on one count of smuggling goods from the United States and one count of making false, fictitious or fraudulent statements. He has been detained since Dec. 30, 2019.
This is pretty big news, thus no doubt you haven’t heard about it.

No news at all, really. Harvard is the center for evil in this world, for about the last 150 years. Everyone who has committed a genocide the last century, probably had a degree from Harvard. Obama, Harvard. Warren, Harvard. Zuckerberg, Harvard.

It’s not just Harvard. The director of a leading US Cancer research center, H Lee Moffit Cancer center, recently stepped down after an investigation prompted by the national institutes of health warning of undue Chinese influence at America’s research centers, discovered that he had conflicts of interest in his ties with China.
After Harvard was bragging how much their graduates earn compared to normal people, someone did a study that showed people who were accepted by Harvard and went elsewhere earned even more than Harvard graduates. Therefore the Education at harvard seems to impede earning potential, and their reputation is based solely on the admissions standards to get in. The primary benefit of going to Harvard is most likely networking with people from rich families that one can then leverage in their own careers.
I am not impressed with any of the creepy kind of bush league schools… not a botanist so I have to look it up… oh right, ivy is the creepy kind of bush I am thinking of.
