    1. I agree wholeheartedly. An “attitude of gratitude” has got me through some hard times in my life plus, as a bonus, you don’t get as many wrinkles in your face!

  8. Just chillin with my 8mos-pregnant daughter, son-in-Law, son and wife, at my daughter’s Dana Point home. The “Bomb cyclone” got us out of bed this morning with pouring, wind-driven rain, flooding her backyard and pounding the walls of her home. Ohhhhh maaammmmaaaa … our sins against Gaia have come home to roost. Had “Thanksgiving” yesterday at my sister-in-law’s home … because her boys had to spend REAL Thanksgiving at their weekend-dad’s today … so we had to pay the penalty for her poor choice in men (they divorced after he impregnated a 17yo bagel store employee).

    Just a traditional American Thanksgiving.

    1. Got one of those daughters myself Kenji, between 7 and 8 months along. Happy Thanksgiving to you and to all of my American friends. Quartzsite is just a wee bit quieter this year, but wait till next year! That is not a threat, nor a warning. Rather a promise!
      We shall be back thereabouts next year. This year tho we look forward to a Grandwhatever. A gift according to numerous verses in my Bible.

  9. Thanks, Lord, for the bounty provided by the Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth, and the prosperity that is granted/earned by those who follow its teachings.

    And God help us from the darkness that will fall on the earth when the dominant culture doesn’t recognize the sanctity and importance of the individual. One form of this is the evangelism orthodoxy promoted by higher education as referenced in the video.

  13. It’ll be a great day when north Americans can sit down together on the same Thanksgiving Day, and thank God for delivering them from their enemies.

    Their enemies, or some of them, will spend that day doing dangerous mine work in the prison camp in the Quebec taiga where they will have been sentenced to spend the rest of their days as the slaves they wanted to make of us. No turkey for them. They’ll eat prison loaf that day, like they do every day, and God help then if they aren’t visibly thankful to get it.

    We will thank God for his bounty, and pray for a bright future, where all that is technologically feasible and morally right will be financially possible.

    They…will have nothing but a subarctic winter to look forward to, and will pray that that winter be the one when the cold takes them.

  14. Had Thanksgiving out here at the trap shack. Cooked a miniature turkey (chicken) and opened a bottle of porto. A small celly (as the hockey pucks say).

    I never forget what the USA has meant to the world. The most unique nation ever produced. Imagine what we’d be like without it?
