  1. The Vatican’s private army is among the world’s best. Their Swiss guard is expertly trained with their halberds – they’re not just for show. Lesser known is their proficiency in unarmed combat as well as with more conventional means – Beretta handguns and automatic rifles.

    It serves the Vatican’s agenda for people to be concerned with a Muslim with a knife. So long as they don’t consider the Whore of Babylon herself to be an issue, all is well.

    1. There’s no question that Islam is evil. However it would surprise many to learn that it was Rome that birthed her. The purpose of which was to attack her rival in Byzantium.

      Roman Catholicism is also unspeakably evil, and has murdered millions to further her own interests. Today, she operates behind every government and has infiltrated the militaries, universities, judiciaries, and even the pulpits of Christian churches in nations around the world.

            Some good questions to ask would pertain to his rich, devout Roman Catholic wife who employed him to begin with, along with Mohammed’s faithful Roman Catholic uncle who supported him when he had no allies.

            And the Roman Catholics who wrote the Qu’ran for the illiterate desert tribesman.

            I could go on, but you don’t seem the type to research anything you’ve decided in advance you’d rather believe isn’t true.

            After all, you’ve never been taught these things in your schools using their Roman Catholic curriculum.

  5. That guy with his unimpressive knife was clearly a test of Vatican security, to learn exactly how quickly, in what manner they react, and with how many guards. Note that all those chairs could have been used as shields or even thrown at him, but nobody DID anything to harm / incapacitate / take down the guy. Based on that underwhelming ‘security’ performance I suspect radical muslims now feel encouraged to plan an ACTUAL attack inside the Vatican. The Vatican will likely view that as a successful security performance, but radicals will be howling with laughter at this flaccid response.

The guy was not a real threat. I’v known 3 people who were special forces types, and they all down play things, and don’t talk about they past actions

      1. I make no claims to ‘special forces’ training or experience. Being VERY careful to not escalate is doubtless a good, proven strategy if bad guys have a hostage whose life is at risk.

        However, I do have plenty of training and experience in ‘persuasion’. This demonstration of teddy bear, hug-a-thug, candy-@$$ed ‘security’ will not in any way ‘persuade’ anybody anywhere to avoid attacks inside the Vatican. Whereas if 4 security guys (or 40 other guys in there) rushed him, beat the living snot out of him until he was bleeding and unconscious, cuffed him and then dragged his limp body across the floor and out. THAT video would have a much greater chance of ‘persuading’ radicals to NOT EVER mess inside the Vatican. The wussiness in THIS video is probably now on exhibit in every jihadist terror training center on earth.

  8. I’m worried about the man in the white van that mowed down a bunch of folks years ago. Hasn’t been seen, identified or sent to trial. What kind of justice system do we have when the government makes you disappear? He must have been very embarrassing to the folks in charge.

    1. His jury-less trial is next spring. Minassian “confessed” so i dont know what the trial is for. Maybe to prove it was or wasnt mental illness? Definately to pour more public money into the justice pig trough.

  10. It was already a bad week for the MSM narrative herders so they kinda slow played the Vatican knife muslim story by not covering it at all.
    They had no choice but to report on the ISIS ‘austere religious scholar’ who raped and murdered and burned people alive and created slave markets and who got blowed up by Orange Man Bad.
    And Trump called the media’s ISIS hero a loser and a coward for killing his own children, which even the media have to admit was a loser move.
    Not only did a few of the media’ ISIS heroes bite the dust but they got rubbed out because of Trump’s strategy, which the narrative herders had just assured us was failing.
    And he told the Russians about the attack ahead of time but didn’t tell Nancy and Adam because everyone knows the Democrats would have leaked it.
    The media faux outrage over that backfired badly too.

    So don’t be to hard on the media about hiding this story, they’ve gone through a little bit of a rough patch lately…

    1. I’m no “Catholic hater” but I am opposed to another platform for the institutional left and too many mainstream churches of various denominations have become politically partisan as a result. Too much Marx, too little Thomas Aquinas.
