And of course carrying a cellphone is like having an RF tracker implanted into your body.. “They” can know exactly where you are 24/7, see what pictures you take,listen to your conversations,see what you look for on line,know your bank balance,and purchases, and this fits into the social credit system nicely.. BigBrother is in your pocket… I know this is CaptainObvious stuff, but I don’t think we seriously think about it often enough..And with this election it shows.. Prancy dancer, changes his costumes to face his criticisms .. People say he doesn’t like Canada, bingo, on goes the big MapleLeaf jacket.. He says Cons are dangerous.. Out comes the flack jacket… Sure makes a man think.

    1. Consider carrying you phone in a small Faraday Cage. Then don’t use it unless you are okay with your position being known. Can’t help you with hiding the rest of the $$ stuff because you need the phone in the open to use it.
      The only other think I can think of is to buy a low tech phone like they sell to granny and gramps. For phone and maybe text but that’s about all you can do with it. But the text on the screen is huge.

    constant daily fear of a misstep WILL impinge on productivity, and snowball when the swirling masses see that the compliant sector never gets their head lopped off.

Because the United States Supreme Court said so. The highest LAW of the Land … even higher than The Father, Son, and Holy Ghost … has decreed Gay-marriage to be a Holy sacrament of the land. Thanks to a censorious media that is out to further statism in all its forms, Canadians were nurtured into an “Obama envy / Harper evil” mentality during his presidency. When he could go to Calgary recently for his personal fund raising, it shows that he is still loved in the deranged dominion. As for foreign influence, the left embraces it as long as it is sufficiently leftist and or green. It’s one of the reasons they would happily put Canada under the governance of the UN.

Canadian politicians have always punished and rewarded districts according to how they vote, I’m concerned that we are getting to the stage where they can electronically monitor, accumulate, and analyze data on individuals and punish and reward them through the tax, healthcare, justice systems… It can all be done by computer, artificial intelligence. It’s a genuine concern, one I will even go out on the future-predicting limb and call inevitable.

  12. What to add?…whoever decided to call the system Social Credit must have heard of Major Douglas and Bill Aberhart—and enjoyed the joke at the expense of the last serious attempt to reform rather than destroy capitalism.
