      TSN in their wisdom broadcast this historic tennis match on TSN 4 which most Canadians don’t pay extra for. On their two main channels they had a CFL game on and NASCAR then Euro soccer. Way to support Canadian sports TSN.

Yes Canada won the NBA Basketball title from America for the first time, and now the US Open women’s Tennis Title…..Bianca is a keeper.. she is confident and battle hardened… The great-one (Wayne G) compared her to Bobby Clark of Flin-Flon & Phili-Flyers as a determined digger who would never quit..(I don’t think he thought she would win it all) Going into Ashe/B. J. King Stadium and winning two straight sets takes loads of character…. Serena has been a beast, is a beast, and she will be back….

One of Trudeau’s federal agencies has released a report to Trudeau’s media, that bots and other forms of social media helped Hitler Jason Kenny win the Alberta election. The timing of the federal report has nothing to do with the upcoming federal election of course. And the media continues to follow Gerald Butt’s orders and rant about threats to Climate Barbie. Can’t wait to see what Gerald Butts has his puppet cabinet ministers whine about next week.

We can all breathe easier that the Vancouver Sun has seen the light.

        1. I’m not sure about the entire left coast. I’ve spoken with a number of hams in the Seattle area, some in Oregon, and quite a few in California. Most of them sounded like sensible people.

          Maybe I was lucky.

          My first place was in Kitsilano, Canada’s largest hippie colony back then. The less said the better.

          I got the heave-ho after a month and found myself a place in the Endowment Lands. During the time I was there, the neighbourhood wasn’t too bad, though I was often worried about being run over by someone driving a Rolls or a Jaguar while walking along the street.

          I did have a nice view from the entrance. I could look along the Sunshine Coast and I saw the traffic moving in and out of Horseshoe Bay. Stepping out onto the lawn, I had a view of the harbour. As well, I had two nesting pairs of eagles in nearby Douglas firs to entertain me in the mornings.

          Still, I was glad to leave the area when I moved back to Edmonton.
