These objections, by the way, will postpone construction once again. Gurney mentions that, although Trudeau’s government bought and owns the $4-billion pipeline, during court proceedings the federal government did not bother filing an objection to the six aboriginal claims. This is the Trudeau government at work.

  5. The Toronto Sun website has a great picture of protesters dressed up as chickens, to protest Groper at one of his many taxpayer funded fund raising dinners in Toronto. They were protesting Groper’s refusal to attend election debates. Also Tarek Fatah has a good story on how Liberals are pandering to ethnic tribes.

            McFee had a short segment each week with his spoof headlines and then there was Nancy White with her satirical, and often silly, songs. And, of course, there was the Senator’s Diary, read by Bud Knapp, which poked fun at parliament.

            The show was hosted at first by Bronwyn Drainie and Bruce Rogers, both of whom had an on-air presence that made one sit up and listen. By the end of its run, the show had become watered down and it didn’t help that the bland Ian Brown was the host.

            I never listened regularly to the successor show, partly because that pompous ass Michael Enright was the host.

In his closing comments for one show, he mentioned that there was a conference or concert or some such thing against the South African government. One of the featured guests was none other than Joe Slovo. Enright wished he was there.

            Look up who Slovo was. Not the sort of fellow one would want to know if one’s political views were different than his. Not surprising, he had ties with that paragon of virtue, Nelson Mandela.

After a number of NDP provincial “candidates” here defected to the Green party, one ex-NDPer mentioned that in New Brunswick’s rural areas, many people are “racist”, and that NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh will have to work hard to fight this form of rural-based “racism”. It appears that for many observers, Canadians may be turned off by Mr. Singh’s turban.

    But after the mass defection to the Green party, Jagmeet Singh did in fact term the defection a form of racism. Elizabeth May countered that the Green Party is NOT racist:

And of course they released that old Video of Hitler Scheer touting private school credits, even though that is not a policy anymore. But as Lilley points out we have to ignore that Justin went to a private school, he taught at a private school, and his finance minister sends his kids to Havergal private school. But the most important fact is the federal government has no jurisdiction when it comes to schools. But that didn’t stop Groper from ranting about Ford and education.

  30. The Liberal Party has announced that it will only take part in the two leader’s debates set up by their adoring Unifor panel. One English and one French. Why would they submit Groper to five debates, when Great Leader and his cabinet ministers are having a great time crossing the country at taxpayer expense. Also Trudeau’s Globe and Mail is excited that Gerald Butts will be working at the Liberal campaign headquarters, and Telford will be joining Groper on the campaign trail.
