Vice President of the United Mine Workers of America in Uniontown, Pennsylvania, Chuck Knissel said based on the current 2020 Democrats running for president, it will be difficult to get union workers to vote for anyone other than Trump.
“It’s going to be tough to get our members to vote for a Democrat,” Knissel told the Journal.

The first political discussion I can remember was between my father, a small businessman, and a staunch union supporter who was trying to talk everyone in the shop into voting NDP “because they’re the party of the working man”. I asked why the MP Mr. Sven Robinson was stopping the union workers from logging. His face turned bright red and he left.

That’s the key thing for current union leadership – have they yet realized (like so much of their membership has) that the Democrats cannot simultaneously be the party of the environmental activist BANANAs and the party of the union construction or resource extraction worker?

They have sent most of our manufacturing to China and bring in mass migration from the shithole world to drive down the value of those left. My experience is that union rank and file and union leadership are rarely even near the same page. Oddly, however, they seem alright with electing fat Lesbians who don’t speak for them. I am proud to say that I was removed from a local presidency and thrown out of the Public Service Alliance of Canada for questioning policy, acting in a democratic manner, criticizing its Stalinist model and its lack of democracy and opposing Agriculture Union president “King” Bob Kingston. Whew!
