Really impressed with the professionalism of coverage in regional media.

They report event and what I said. Their goal is to inform.

Unlike the ideologically slanted stuff from too many left-wing activists masquerading as journalists in national media.

“We won’t have an agreement in Quebec, maybe not in B.C., maybe not in a First Nation and so we’ll use the constitution and pass that legislation,” Bernier said. “We’ll have the full authority and we’ll be able to build the pipeline because the court won’t be able to interfere and the provincial governments won’t be able to stop us.”

    1. To Max and all his minions:
      1. Government IS the problem.
      2. You’re not going to make my life better.
      3. I don’t need your help.
      4. Trumpeting yourself compared to Trudeau The Idiot, Spineless Scheer, Jughead or even Drunken May is a really, really low bar.
      5. Anyone who thinks you’re some type of miracle solution to decades-old and now entrenched systemic assault on individual rights and freedom is probably a half-wit or delusional.
      6. See #1.

      1. Check out this website buddy

I have to spell it with spaces or googles Captcha won’t allow it to post.

        https:// zero gov .com/

We have to go through hell to get to heaven buddy.

Max and the PPC is a step in the right direction on our way to zero gov heaven right now in 2019.

        1. Max will get a Liberal appointment, an ambassadorship likely, if Trudeau wins the election and that will be the end of the PPC Liberal insurance policy.
          You are being had.

      2. So buddy, I guess you are voting for more of the same. You must be pretty content with your lkife; probably not suyffered from 15 years of economic stasis and diminuishing control over your own life,

    2. Must split the sensible vote to ensure a silly party landslide. Can’t allow a partly-sensible candidate.

We Albertans learned how hard that can bite, but we’re getting better now.

      1. Yes exactly the two liberal parties of the LibCons will split some liberal votes.

        Real conservatives are voting PPC.

  2. America was never about it’s economic strength or it military might, those were incidentals to what was the foundation to our success as a nation, its people. We focus on the evils and shortcomings of a degenerate and corrupt Empire as it lashes out against its opponents, but we should never forget that we have something far more valuable than private jets and lavish lifestyles that the elites possess; we have each other. Good people with honorable intentions committed to doing the right thing against all odds.

    https://www.theburningplatform.com/2019/07/12/heartfelt-words-from-hardscrabble/#more-200335

    1. The foundation of success was values of first settlers in New England. Toiling and saving and building and investing in the future was part of their religious belief system. They also escaped a repressive class system in the old world which they did not replicate. They expanded trade and manufacturing. And so America became a land of opportunity. The colonizers in Lat Am countries had different values and took a different approach (rape over and exploit) and so we have the Sh*t holes today that people are trying to flee and come the the America founded by the early settlers.

    2. +

Well said. If you live righteously then good things will come to you in the long run. If you live in pursuit of the good things then you may get them, but will more likely will end up worse off than you started.

  3. Sound Familiar

The Creeping War on Christian Civilisation

So how do the police and the courts respond? In virtually every instance of attacks on churches, they hide the identity of the vandals. In those rare instances when the Muslim – or, euphemistically, ‘migrant’ identity of the destroyers is leaked, the perpetrators are presented as ‘suffering from mental health issues.’

    https://www.salisburyreview.com/articles/the-creeping-war-on-christian-civilisation/

    1. Angel, I am surprised that muslims are not issuing fatwas against those calling the followers of islam mentally ill. It would seem that one would have to be marginally insane to embrace islam.

      1. Well said and straight to the point.

When Muslims destroy non Muslim things or people they are labeled insane..

The insanity comes from all Western Governments who promotes this insanist Islamic fact as truth when Jesus Christ knows that Islam has and always will be waging war against Christ teachings and all those who follow it.

  4. Suspect in Eaton Centre voyeurism case identified
    Chris Herhalt, CP24.com

Later on Saturday, a 22-year-old suspect was arrested and charged with 10 counts of voyeurism and one count of mischief under $5,000.

On Sunday, police said there was a publication ban in place on the man’s identity but on Thursday named him as Sohanathen Udayashankar of Toronto.

Udayashankar appeared in court on July 7 and was released on bail with conditions.

Investigators say they believe there are other victims who have not yet come forward.

  5. There have been countless stories of how Jeffrey Epstein and the Clintons would fly around and go off to his secret places. When federal prosecutors announced sex trafficking charges against Jeffrey Epstein this week, they described him as “a man of nearly infinite means.” They argued that his vast wealth — and his two private jets — made him a flight risk. Bill Clinton took four trips with Epstein on his private jets, one to Europe, one to Asia, and two to Africa.

Former President Clinton has not been linked by prosecutors to the current or previous accusations against Mr. Epstein in sex trafficking. Epstein began in finance at Bear Stearns and when he struck out on his own, Mr. Epstein came in contact with Clinton in 2002, when the former president took a trip on Mr. Epstein’s private jet. Clinton had been out of the White House for two years and the contact seemed to be related to the Clinton Foundation. Jeffrey Epstein’s lawyers said in a letter back in 2007 that he forged a close relationship with former President Bill Clinton and helped conceive an arm of the Clinton Foundation.

Of course, the rumors running around are that Epstein will spill the beans on Bill. The problem with that scenario is the presumption that the prosecutors would even be interested in exposing Clinton, which to date nobody has dared to even assume there is fire behind the smoke.

    https://www.armstrongeconomics.com/armstrongeconomics101/opinion/clinton-witness-removal-program/

    1. Martin, there are rumors that Epstein was connected to an intelligence agency and that is where the seemingly unlimited supply of money came from.

    2. “Bill Clinton took four trips with Epstein on his private jets, one to Europe, one to Asia, and two to Africa.”

The number I keep hearing is 26 trips on the “Lolita Express.” That source does tend to employ a lot of hyperbole.

    3. NSA has video and pictures from Epstein Island. They are, apparently, highly incriminating and deeply repulsive.

Under Trudeau Government, Canada Has Fallen From 8th To 18th On World Press Freedom Index.

Of course, we recently saw this anti-press freedom event on display, when Chrystia Freeland – ironically attending a ‘Defend Media Freedom’ conference, tried to block two Canadian journalists from asking questions:

    https://www.spencerfernando.com/2019/07/12/under-trudeau-government-canada-has-fallen-from-8th-to-18th-on-world-press-freedom-index/

  7. The early news on Friday evening showed this ‘lecture’ from Justin Trudeau and tried to pass it off as a nice speech. Here is the whole clip before the Global News edit. It is actually a non-reply to a question as to whether Justin is now campaigning on taxpayers’ dime.

It is dishonest that Global did not air the question from the person in the group, as you see here in the enclosed link. The PM gave a panicked look and then changed the subject, likely remembering that the PRESS would fix it and cover for him. This is disgusting of Global News. If they thought no one would notice on a Friday night in July, they are mistaken. I saw the original broadcast almost 8 hours ago. I just noticed this video and want to link you to the truth. Justin ultimately displayed how he loves he sound of his own voice. See the narcissist at work.

Global News, you are BUSTED. Your editor is a bought sucker. Justin Trudeau is desperate . He knows nobody likes him. No wonder the guys in the audience were sending hand signals. They were trying to tell the audience that HE wasn’t answering the question!

    Global News, shame on you.
    You are so busted.

Everyone knows he is freaking because the Premiers of the provinces met and they all agree that they want Trudeau gone.

    https://youtu.be/Qpu6MYEd8lQ

    1. Nancy, it is an unfortunate circumstance that any PM when running for re-election always does so at some cost to the taxpayer. Now if government was shut down prior to an election and all candidates had to run spending their own money, maybe things would be different. ie, the PM being unable to use government aircraft.

      1. According to Prinz Dummkopf, what’s the point of being PM unless one can help oneself to the public treasury for his own self-aggrandizement?

        1. I agree. That guy has never stopped campaigning. Everyday, it is a photo-op, taxpayer give away or meeting with some supportive group– like Muslims. He does not do a lot outside of campaigning. There are occasional caucus meetings, probably to bring Justin up to speed on decisions that have been made and provide him with talking points for upcoming weeks.

    2. Trudeau has been playing a delay game on the TMX pipeline.

Trudeau was elected in Nov 2015

Trudeau and his cabinet approved the TMX pipeline in Nov 2016. In his approval announcement he said:
      – “we approved this project because it meets the strictest of environmental standards”
      – “We also could not approve this project without the best in class marine safety standards”
      – “We will require that Kinder Morgan meet or exceed all 157 of the binding conditions set out by the National Energy Board. These conditions address potential impacts on Indigenous communities”

Now Trudeau blames Harper for not doing an adequate job of consultation and environmental protection. But his government had an ENTIRE year to get it right before they approved the project. As part of the cabinet approval they would have asked the question did we get all the environmental and first nations consultations right.

Yet the Trudeau government did not appeal the Federal Court decision to the Supreme Court. Why? Because Team Trudeau is playing the delay game. Delay, delay, delay. There are new lawsuits going through the courts. Now they will let the court process take several more years and they may appeal to the Supreme Court, but that will be years down the line.

      Solution?

step 1. Raise the price of all oil leaving Alberta. Call it a carbon tax. Afterall, how can Trudeau, Horgan, and Legault object to a carbon tax?

step 2. Have the Alberta equalization referendum as soon as possible after the next federal election.

step 3. set up an Alberta provincial police force. Just like Quebec and Ontario

step 4. start collecting provincial income tax as Quebec does.

step 5. set up an Alberta pension plan (again just like Quebec)

step 6. set up an Alberta unemployment insurance program and opt out of the federal program.

This starts to prepare the stage for Alberta separation. Steps 2, 5, and 6 represent a potential loss of over $20 billion a year to the Feds and other provinces.

      1. Joe, if you’re going to start over from scratch, you might want to do it right and not create government run pension and unemployment insurgence systems.

        1. Bang on. Opt out of fed pension and have zero provincial pension. Every freeloader in Alberta will leave. Love it!

        2. 20 or 30 years ago was the time to start an Alberta Pension Plan. The CPP reserve funds were nil and Alberta had the youngest population. It was pure incompetence not to start Alberta’s own pension plan at that time. Half the payments to the CPP are to cover past over-payments and a disproportionate number of retired people live elsewhere. Today the CPP actually has a reserve of close to $400 billion gathered by tripling rates.

I rank this, the failure to boot the RCMP, and the deregulation of utilities as the stupidest things the Alberta Conservatives ever did.

        3. Minuteman. One of the biggest obstacles I hear from people who are not in favour of Alberta separation, concerns pensions. So, in my opinion the best option is to provide an Alberta Pension.

Re EI. I want the flow of money from Alberta to other province to stop. It would be an Oh crap moment for the feds and other provinces.

          1. Joe – CPP will definitely be used as a scare tactic to maintain the status quo. The fact is in or out the program has the same amount of funds per person separate or not. A little perspective is my own situation. I took early CPP and continue to work. the first year as I am self employed I contributed $4,600 + which translated into $10.00 +pennies monthly increase in benefits. Similarly last year I contributed $4600 + which translated into additional benefits of approximately $20.00 per month. So if I collect for 38 years I will recover the first contribution and only 19 years the second. There really isn’t much to fear as if you are lucky you might get your money back and any you do get is actually funded by people who are still working. Keep in mind they claimed 8% return on investments last year for only a 1% management fee which is in fact 11% plus of return. Keep in mind that is only the investment management fee and you can bet your sweet bippy that was constructed to appear as favourable as possible. I am quite certain all the other administration is substantive and is in addition . So I ask , what is there to fear and why do we want to be part of this?

      2. Joe: You think Kenney has the “cajones” to do this? Should be done, needs to be done.

  8. Next PM to quicken or quell Senator independence, with nearly a quarter set to retire next Parliament

If Prime Minister Justin Trudeau wins another term, he’ll be able to further enshrine his approach to appointments with 24 Senators scheduled to retire in the next four years. But Conservative Party Leader Andrew Scheer could also easily stem that tide if he forms government. The Hill Times photograph by Andrew Meade

Funny how Canadians are ever only given the choice of the single LiBCons party of one.

Well there is a third choice

Bernier said he believes the PPC will win a minority government in the fall if supporters can mobilize before the fall and get at least 304 candidates on the ballot across the country.

Bernier said he is not splitting the vote he is giving voters to option to vote for a real conservative party rather than the CPC, which he called “fake Conservatives” repeatedly.

Bernier talked about how impressed he was with how much support the party has after launching last September, boasting about having 41,000 members now.

    https://www.hilltimes.com/2019/07/10/next-pm-to-fan-flames-or-douse-senator-independence-with-nearly-a-quarter-set-to-retire-next-parliament/207229

  11. Great Leader burns jet fuel at taxpayer expense to Surrey B.C. today on his Doug Ford is Hitler tour. But don’t worry, our environmentalist prime minister is still going to burn jet fuel to the Calgary Stampede to meet his adoring fans. And the Saturday Toronto Star ramps up its efforts to get their hero Justin re-elected. They have a major story on how evil populism is in Canada. Only our elites can save us. The story explains how Conservative parties in Canada are filled with stupid, uneducated, white men.

  12. “””Canadian Premiers are meeting in my home province of Saskatchewan today. And here I thought Andy was raised and cut his teeth in the Région de la Capitale nationale of the twinned cities Ottawa-Gatineau where they pass little brown bags around. In the eyes of some that qualifies him to be PM over someone from Quebec.
How did that Premiers meeting turn out anyway?

  13. QUOTES OF THE DAY

“Thus the elements are in place: a weak legislative body, a legal system that is both compliant and repressive, a party system in which one (I would in 2019 now say either) party, whether in opposition or in the majority, is bent upon reconstituting the existing system so as to permanently favor a ruling class of the wealthy, the well-connected and the corporate, while leaving the poorer citizens with a sense of helplessness and political despair, and, at the same time, keeping the middle classes dangling between fear of unemployment and expectations of fantastic rewards once the new economy recovers.

That scheme is abetted by a sycophantic and increasingly concentrated media; by the integration of universities with their corporate benefactors; by a propaganda machine institutionalized in well-funded think tanks and conservative foundations; by the increasingly closer cooperation between local police and national law enforcement agencies aimed at identifying terrorists, suspicious aliens and domestic dissidents.”

  14. It seems that not only do the Liberals want only approved media outlets, but they also only want Liberal Party approved movies. Fraulein Freeland was taken to task for not wanting Rebel Media etc at the Free Press conference, and now Lilley at the Toronto Sun website reports on how Liberal MPs including cabinet ministers are trying to get the anti-abortion movie Unplanned pulled from movie theatres. And of course the Liberal cabinet ministers explain that the movie is just part of the Conservative plot to ban all abortions.

  15. Florida Sheriff Deputy Arrested After Planting Drugs on Innocent People

    2. Do you plan to farm the vermin that will infest your property, or trap or poison them?

      1. Humans have gotten much better at poisoning rats and (more importantly) storing food out of their reach. Barncats are a throwback to primitive times when the cats were the only thing that would slow down rat reproduction (but not stop it).

Cats have wiped out songbirds far more effectively than they ever did rats. Outside the Middie East where they evolved, they are an exotic and invasive species, like cane toads, another exotic animal foolishly imported into Australia for pest control.

(Needless to say Muslims love them. The parallels between the two are left as an exercise.)

“When people ask why are you here (in Medicine Hat), a real Conservative riding, it’s because we’re the real conservative party,” Bernier told the crowd. “Vote for your values this October and you will support a stronger conservative party in this country.

  24. https://education.cu-portland.edu/blog/classroom-resources/10-tricks-for-doing-fast-math/

    1. Adding large numbers

Adding large numbers just in your head can be difficult. This method shows how to simplify this process by making all the numbers a multiple of 10. Here is an example:

    644 + 238

While these numbers are hard to contend with, rounding them up will make them more manageable. So, 644 becomes 650 and 238 becomes 240.

Now, add 650 and 240 together. The total is 890. To find the answer to the original equation, it must be determined how much we added to the numbers to round them up.

    650 – 644 = 6 and 240 – 238 = 2

Now, add 6 and 2 together for a total of 8

To find the answer to the original equation, 8 must be subtracted from the 890.

    890 – 8 = 882

So the answer to 644 +238 is 882.

    Convoluted or what?

    mental calculation

    6+2=8, 4+3=7, 4+8=12. 7+1=8
    882

    or on paper

    8+4=12 carry the 1, 4+4=8, 6+2=8
    882

U.S. media focused their coverage on Powell’s marked disdain for Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump. In one email, Powell even called Trump an “international pariah.”

But for Canadians, there’s another compelling tidbit in the emails. Specifically, in this July, 2016 email that Powell addressed to former Canadian attorney general Peter MacKay:

Peter, I am back from the Bohemian Grove. Surprise, surprise, I sat next to Stephen Harper a couple of times and had a nice discussion. Grove attendees know that Trump is a disaster. Most will vote against, but quite a few will not vote for Hillary and will vote for a third party candidate. Strange doings down here. Otherwise all is well with the Powells. We’ll sneak away for a few days in August. Of course I’d love to see you. Let me know your dates. I told Stephen that you seemed quite content in your new place in life.
